favorite khamsin tidbits from the wiki. in the game series where villains regularly get ten minute monologues to espouse their philosophies, he’s challenged on his ‘fuck yeah freedom’ worldview once, splutters some obscenities, and explodes. he’s so insufferable that even when he turns himself into a war machine the people whose goal is perpetual war forever don’t want him. also ten seconds after he kills khamsin, bladewolf essentially walks into one of those invisible dog fences and falls over and it turns out they didn’t even need to fight in the first place. it's really just metal gear central in my brain lately huh. anyway i think it's because mgr is considered sort of noncanonical by a lot of people or maybe too silly and over the top to fit with the tone of the solid games, plus he's just a dlc boss most people don't know about or particularly remember, but it makes me like. unreasonably happy that khamsin does the little iconic metal gear "!" thing during his fight. like ok see he IS part of the game series he did The Thing. he's valid (as a metal gear character. he is Not valid for every other thing he has done in his life)
