Please do! I think him and Ozi would be good friends, maybe even close siblings (If you are to believe the lore of Cinderella Boy that is)

Nevertheless, I'd love to draw him if he ever comes out!

Saw some people making keysonas, so to help me brainstorm a keysona I made a list of key titles! Basically just common tropes that are often present in books and stories. Felt like sharing them here! I’ll add more in comments if I come up with anymore. feel free to use these for ur sonas, Or if you have ideas too feel free to share them in the comments!

his metal/name is electrum, and his eyes/key crystal are fire opal. his food of choice is dried figs (the seeds are crunchy), and his role is the seer key.

i havent decided what the key form looks like or on what his role does entirely… tbd…

also a big mega congrats to all the wonderful artists who got their art on the tree!!!! that is so fun and special and wonderful and i hope everyone feels proud!!!!!

Rhodium, mostly just a shiny stable metal to me that let me make a name close to Mari ;) also! Used in catalytic converters for cars I suppose. Malachite because I like it and also for Marhdi/Mari.

Yup! Somewhere in like supporting/homebound/confidante kind of archetype role. Stole Hestia's symbol.

Until I finally get to draw them properly, I really want to join the cb Keysona trend so in my head she's The Explorer archetype and is genuinely just a dandelion-yellow monochrome version of my little Minecraft character

Explorer because that one I think fits me most, just from a little list I found online of character archetypes, but also like my peaceful Minecraft world is almost 4 years old (from before the world generation changed!) and I have traveled an embarrassing amount of blocks just exploring after new updates so honestly that fits them too

Maybe I'm the inside-a-book-version she's the keyple version lol

So I’ve been seeing that in the CB fandom, keysonas have become more common, soooo here’s mine! I didn’t wanna name them after a metal to match with silver, bronze, and Goldie so I went for a gem instead!!! This is aqua, the ruler key☺️☺️

This is going to sound like a very weird pet peeve, but I get so annoyed when people name their keysonas names with actual human names. Like Jesse or whatever. Because every key we’ve met so far has a theme!

Silver, Bronze, Goldie, Violet. COLORS!!!

That's true, and it's an understandablepet peeve! But then again, there's only so many colours one could go for before it starts to get complicated. You can also guarantee that when more keys come out in future seasons, it can complicate OCs.

For example, if I named Ozi (my Keysona) after a colour instead of the metal I chose, Osmium. Let's call him Colbolt instead, which was going to be his name before I decided against it, a metal and a colour, just like Silver, Goldie, and Bronze.

If Colbolt was made into an official character like the rest, then I would have a Original Character that shares a name with an official character. It would be annoying at best to try and differentiate between them!

So, although I understand it being annoying that keysonas don't follow the theme, it might just be best in the long run, in my opinion!

Absolutely! And this goes for anyone wanting to draw my keysona! Just please adhere to the following~

1. Make sure to tag me if you post, I want to be able to see your gorgeous artworks and be able to repost to show appreciation!

2. You're free to draw them doing whatever (within reason), but they love physical affection and being silly, I love these pieces the most!!

3. Feel free to draw him in any sort of relations with other characters whether friendly, familial or romantic, whether canon or OC, just be respectful of my little Ozi, please. He is my baby after all!

Saw a slight trend emerging where people were starting to make keysonas for Cinderella Boy, and so I thought I'd jump in with my own because I will never give up a sona opportunity!

So now introducing my dear foolish key and yet the insulter and trustee of Royals, The comic relief key, also known as Ozi!

A bit about Them~

Their main muse is the role of comic characters present within tradgedies or dramtic story tellings, popularised via Shakespeares works. They are meant to be used after tragic events to lighten moods for potential readers and be something more lightheart to focus on.

They're based on the metal of "Osmium" and the gemstone of "Topaz". And their visual look comes from Medievial fantasy jesters.

Generally speaking, Ozi takes form of more Masculine presenting characters, but can take the form of any female written comic characters, hence the want and need to be referred to by gender neutral terms.

Might work a little more on them if I get particularly attached! But feel free to send me your own keysonas, I'd love to do collaborations or character works with them and Ozi in!

Ask Ozi?

I saw @p1tabread reblog my Ozi post with a question so I thought it would be fun to do this little Q&A thing and develop my keysona a little more! Below "read more" will be more in depth answers if anyone is curious!

Now for the questions expanded!

Ozi is my favourite key ever

Ozi would only respond with confusion to this statement, or be flustered, because they was at their height of usage within Ex Libris' organisation during the Elizabethan time (I know that isn't canon but let me head canon, will you? It fits their story a lot better) e.g. when Shakespeare's works were hitting theatres and the need for comic relief characters were at an all time high with the focus on tragedies.

Recently however, it could be argued that their position has been fulfilled by the role of the "Helper" key Bronze, as many modern stories have a tendency to combine the helper and the comic relief roles into one character, think of the sidekick that is used to be funny in tense scenes within hero movies or books.

As so, they doesn't get as much use as they did back then, hence their confusion to why they are a favourite in this modern age.

They do greatly appreciate it though, even if they're a little confused!

2. What's his favourite Shakespeare character or play?

Honestly, back in the day they used to be a big fan of them all as they thrive on tragedy. That being said, they doesn't like "Romeo and Juliet", for reasons that "They can't understand why the hero wouldn't just have a good cry and wait for Juliet to wake up. They didn't need to die."

That's their reason at least, we theorise this was mostly because this was one of their first books they had entered and they and their human had genuinely though that Silver and Goldie had actually suffered the tragedy that befalls their characters. Dark, huh? Safe to say, a lot of crystal tears had fallen when they were reunited!

As for "Something Rotten", it's one of my favourite Shakespeare inspired works, and I have a feeling that If I did have a key, that is one of the first things I would show them! I however, love the Soothsayer more than I love Shakespeare! Nick Bottom is a close second however!
