BEACH BOYS. Jetski time with Hubby where he was screaming cos of my incredible spatial awareness that got us stuck amongst piles of seaweed and nasty rocks that bruised me up a bit but we be trying again another day cos these water activities are so much fun like whoa. He had to go back to the house cos he had classes. Love spending time with this guy and we truly missed roaming about and doing these adventures here, there and everywhere. TAMSUI FISHERMAN’S WHARF OLD STREET. Went to the end of the RED LINE and enjoyed a stroll of sorts and adored the sights and sceneries with this one. We ate some SUSHI under the train station and made up a JINGLE for the song that kept playing at the establishment; entered a random MUSEUM that’s kind of like Ripley’s; got a FOOT MASSAGE; ate CHEESY BREAD, ICE CREAM and DIMSUM; took PHOTOS and WATCHED people roam around. CRYING ALL DAY. “What is grief, if not love persevering?” What you’ve seen isn’t even half of the story. You’ve only seen glimpses of my life with this boy and it has been a rollercoaster of emotions to say the least. We’ve never fully told the world what our relationship status is at this point cos as long as people who are close to us are aware, as long as we know that we’ve got each other’s backs + no matter what kind of love this has evolved into, that’s the only thang that should count. After it all, I’ve gained a bestfriend. Someone whom I could finally share all my secrets with and all what I’m going through without condoning the negative and pushing me to see thangs in the eyes of another. During the election, I’ve lost communication with family, but he was my constant and made my sour days sweeter with movie nights, late night snacking and endless laughter — I have not enjoyed those as musch I’ve enjoyed it with him. So, to those that still see Gelo as someone who just broke my heart, we’ve worked it out and have had many enjoyable days after the heartbreak — just look back at my stories. I’m still in denial as to where life is taking but give me a few days of random joy in Turkey and I’ll get back to you when I get to my momma in California. It doesn’t mean life is always celebrations and parties cos there are hardships along the way. Pretty pictures aren’t a distinguishing factor to determine that two people are the happiest all the time and everyone should totes be jealous but with communication and compromise, it can work out. Life hasn’t been easy for either of us as individuals, moreso as a couple but we are grateful that we got to enjoy little breaks during this pandemique with family and friends along the way.
