Y/N raised his hands. "Kevin? I have a question. Um, well actually, not just one, I have all of them. I have all the questions."
Kevin looks up from the piano as he and Clay look at him. "Yes, Y/N?"
"Archie's song. His I want song. Isn't it a little bit.... You know.... Queer?"
Kevin looks offended. "In what way?"
Y/N sighed as he looked at the song sheet and began to singing for them as the room changed and they saw the song from how Y/N was singing it. "Archie goin’ left, Archie goin’ right. Archie runnin’ any road that he can find. Archie back and forth, Archie day and night. Archie never makin’ up his All-American mind. Makin’ up his All-American mind. I look at other guys, with fire in their eyes."
Kevin and Clay saw Archie and Julian Blossom running in gym clothes before they took them off. Then it changed to them showering in the locker room showers as they were mirroring each other's movements as Archie took a glance down at Julian's.... Before he looked up again and slammed his hand against the wall and the song stopped.
Y/N looks at them. "You see what I mean?"
Kevin and Clay nodded as they just witnessed the actions of the song that Kevin wrote. "I do. And man that was hot!"

Summary: Kevin Keller/Male reader, one-shot, Riverdale High is putting on a production of High School Musical, Kevin is directing it, Toni is in charge of choreography, and the reader is in charge of lighting and sound design
Kevin Keller was far too intensely involved in Riverdale High’s theatre department. It’s how the two of you met so you aren’t seriously complaining but he was so excited about the upcoming play, and gave you only one hint.
“We’re going to need a lot of teamwork to make this play come together.” he wink and you know he’s meant for that to be the hint for you and the rest of the theatre department to figure out the newest musical that you’d all be taking on for the year.
”As usual I’ll be directing this year's musical which no one is surprised about.” Kevin grins gesturing around and waves his hand at you.
“My wonderful boyfriend, Y/N will be taking care of the lighting and the sound. And Toni will be working on the choreography like always.”
“So what are we doing so I know who I’ll be auditioning for?” Cheryl looks slightly unimpressed, Kevin grins.
“What Team?”
“WILDCATS.”
Everyone cheers back and Kevin laughs.
“Welcome to Riverdale High’s production of High School Musical!” He nod towards the sign up sheet being passed around.
-You’re more than happy to stay behind the scenes, while you were happy that you and Kevin had similar interests while he enjoyed making sporadic appearances in the plays he put on you were firmly up in the tech box focusing on keeping everything Kevin loved about theatre working properly.
Kevin had wanted to do a runthrough of the main songs, which as Kevin had picked were currently Start of something New, Stick to the status Quo, and We’re all in this Together. You cue up the track for Status Quo since everyone is here. You’re comfortable in your box, watching Toni directing the current Sharpay and Ryan, you chuckle not at all surprised that Josie was playing Sharpay, but Cheryl as Ryan was a very humorous substitution.
You frown a little when Kevin waves you down.
“I thought we were running through the sound and choreography together?”
“Yeah but we’re not sure about the lighting and the organization of the set pieces, so we need you to watch it from here to be able to see what we actually need to set up and what will look and sound the best.”
“Okay fine, so we’re running status quo from the top, so we’ll need either the stairs or some sort of partition divide for that, since we can’t really cast half of it in shadows with how tiny the stage is.”
“Alright. Anything else then?”
“Well we could soften the sound of the music and make the stairs and some of the cast movements as part of the soundtrack, to make the ‘shifting’ from upstairs to downstairs instead of having actual set pieces for it, like maybe just using silhouettes on the stage to show the stairs.”
“That sounds good, do you think we can do ‘we're all in this together’ as well? Since everyone is here, please babeeeee.” Kevin grins, you sigh and nod up to the booth where James is already cueing up the other song.
Toni is directing everyone, point out the steps, she’s revising as she goes since the stage is much smaller than the amount of people who decided they wanted to be in the play. You’re sure it has something to do with it being High School Musical and how it was pretty much everyone’s favourite guilty pleasure musical.
“Okay we have to make this less people.”
“We do?”
“Yes, they’ll be tripping over each other and if you think those lights aren’t  going to blind at least three people if we keep everyone on the stage, not to mention Toni’s trying to figure out things for all the extra people and like barely any of them are actually doing it, acting like they’re an actual star.”
“Well then how about we just get rid of all of the extras and just use shadows for them, that way we can just record all of the main cast dancing, doing multiple versions of Toni’s choreo and then we can just project their shadows onto the back, and that way it gets rid of the stairs issue.”
“Okay so we’re settled, getting rid of the backgrounder’s keeping the og cast from the sheet and then just adding in some background dancing through shadows.”
“Yeah, sounds good, that’ll give us plenty of time for the more important things.”
“Important things?”
”Well yes, we have to have our traditional post-casting date, which we haven’t done since somebody wanted to get a step up since last year's casting of `be more chill’ was a nightmare.”
“Mhmm, so chocolate or vanilla milkshake?”
“Surprise me.” You laugh a little and he grins back, you’re relieved to have non-director Kevin back you know in the coming weeks that it’ll get more intense as the show draws closer, you just hope there’s no more drama that’ll halt the show like it seems ever other show you’ve put on has been.

Kevin Keller x Male! Reader
Smut prompt: “I really don’t care. You still look hot, and I’m trying not to fuck you senseless right now.”
Tumblr media
You hated the Riverdale football team. They were every stereotype wrapped into one douchebag of a group. First, Chuck with the playbook and now Reggie with the prejudices against the Southsiders.
You were of a baseball guy yourself. The team wasn’t nearly as recognized, but it was a whole lot more respectable. No one on the team had gotten caught for doing anything illegal or immoral for a few years now. It seemed like the Bulldog football got into something new every week.
Your amazing sweetheart of a boyfriend, Kevin, was stressed because he had to put on a play that wasn’t going so well. It was supposed to be a unity type thing, but the Northsiders got in too many different disagreements with each other.
Kevin slumped on the couch backstage, yelling into a pillow. He’d given everyone an hour break because they were excruciatingly confrontational. Every single one of those little shits better come back ready to work or he was going to kill someone.
“Long day, babe?” you teased, pressing a kiss to his nose. He sighed and laid his head on top of yours.
“Why are people so unwilling to cooperate?” He asked. You shrugged. Kevin closed his eyes and tried to drift off for a bit.
His eyelashes were long and curled right before they hit his cheeks. His lips were a soft and delicate pink that looked even more beautiful when he was going down on you. Kevin’s skin was so smooth and soft that you would place a hickey on every surface on his skin if he’d let you.
You’d come pretty close one time, covering his neck in love marks so that only small patches of clear skin showed when you were done.
“Babe?” you asked, running your fingers through Kev’s hair. He hummed back in response. “Do you mind if I ride you?”
“Right here?” He hissed. What if you two got caught? “I’m a mess. I’ve worn this sweater twice this week and probably don’t smell the best.”
“I really don’t care. You still look hot, and I’m trying not to fuck you senseless right now,” you whispered, nipping his earlobe.
Kevin groaned and yanked his pants and boxers off. You swung your leg over his so you were situated on his lap. The fact that anyone could’ve walked in on you right now made this situation impossibly hot.
You began to sway your hips to an imaginary beat, giving Kevin a lap dance. He watched with dark eyes as you peeled off your shirt, groaning when you slowly wriggled your shorts off.
“Like what you see?” you asked. Kevin smirked, a firm grip on your throat.
“I always like what I see, baby.” You guided his cock to your hole and hissed as he entered you. It felt amazing to be so close and intimate with him.
Kevin began to thrust his hips up, you you held him down. “I’m taking care of you tonight.”
Your sweetheart laid his head back on the couch and let his moans and growls out when you began to bounce on his shaft. Every time you went down and sat on his lap, you made sure to clench your hole.
Your grinding and bouncing became more erratic as you heard voices near the stage. You put your hand over Kevin’s mouth and sat, waiting to see if they’d go away.
While you waited, you feathered kisses up and down Kevin’s neck, sucking on his Adam’s apple. He tried to make a sound but you crashed your lips together to stop him. Your tongue tangled with his as you resumed your pace. It was past the point of caring. If they found you and Kevin going at it, then it would be better.
You screamed into his neck as you came while Kevin stuttered out a sob. Whoever was behind the curtain definitely heard you.
“I love you,” you panted as you slipped Kevin’s length out of you and redressed the both of you. You placed a kiss on his temple and cuddled against him.
You’d deal with the consequences tomorrow, but for now you’d bask in your orgasms. Admittedly, you’d never tell him but you loved when everyone knew you were his.
When Kevin would direct the play after the break, the cast would see his hickeys and would see your smirk in the crowd when he’d perform with them on display.

Thanksgiving
Summary: Kevin Keller/male Northsider reader, they’re hosting thanksgiving for everyone
“Babe don’t stress.” You kiss Kevin on the forehead as he slumps over the semi-cooked turkey he has to baste.
“It’s Thanksgiving, our first as a family!”
“Mmmhhmm and I’m thankful for you and your wonderful cooking ability, now, let me handle the turkey and you can work on the sides, although Josie and Reggie said they were bringing some sort of vegetables so one less thing for you to do.” Kevin narrows his eyes but goes to welcome his father and step-mother, they both pull him into a hug and you wave from the kitchen, trying to make it obvious despite the massive oven mitt on your hand.
“You seem to have the house husband thing down.” Sierra winks at you as she offers to help prep the gravy and the rolls that you’d been baking
“BUDDY!” You turn to see your daughter rushing after the newest family addition; a seven month old golden retriever puppy. Kevin’s father Tom had bought her as an anniversary present for you and Kevin, you knew it was just an excuse to spoil his granddaughter but you were happy to play along.
“Hey you two play nice with the dog!” You laugh when Archie chides them, his and Veronica’s son joining your daughter in the chase around the living room.
“Seriously Ronnie you’re a lifesaver!” You grin and wrap an arm around her as she holds the plates you’d brought down to set the table with.
“I’m surprised Josie and Reggie are late.”
“They’re still early, I told everyone not to come by until four at the latest, it’s only three.”
“Here comes trouble.” You can hear Jughead laughing as his and Betty’s daughter stampeds into the house laughing.
“Uncle Kevin look!” You see her rush by, clearly wearing a new winter coat.
You turn when you hear the door swinging open softly.  You’re surprised you can hear it, but grin when your parents stand in the doorway.
“Hey guys.”You pull them into a hug and laugh a little.
“Happy Thanksgiving, are we the last ones?”
“No we’re still waiting on Josie and Reggie.”
“Ah, I bet they’re struggling getting their son ready.”
“Dad he’s like seven months old.” Kevin responds to Tom’s comment.
“Well there’s no way Josie is letting her son leave the house for a family holiday looking anything less than perfect.”
“I think you mean Reggie. Sorry we’re late.” Josie grins holding up tupperware containers full of what you're assuming are mashed potatoes.
“Reggie decided he needed a complete outfit change.
“Babe, i’m not letting our son freeze his toes off.”
“He’s going to be inside, he doesn’t need tiny baby boot socks.”
“Well since everyone is here, we’re just waiting for the turkey.” You cut across what you’re worried about being an argument but they’re both just smiling at each other.
You let Betty delegate where everything will be, you’re laughing, pouring fresh water into the glasses when Kevin appears and kisses you, clearly having gotten back from some errand you didn’t know he was on.
“We were about to run out of juice.” Sierra gasps in horror and all the kids mimic her. Buddy’s asleep on the floor and each of the kids are content to colour on the massive pad of paper your dad had brought.
You’re pulling the turkey out and grinning as you peek into the main dining room, seeing everyone seated around, your family, something you'd never thought you'd have.

Car Hop (Kevin Keller x Male! Jughead’s Brother! Reader)
Word Count:1,799
Tumblr media
Kevin Keller was your everything. To him, you weren’t Jughead’s brother or Archie Andrews’ other best friend, you were you: someone who he loved so much that it hurt. Kevin had no problem showing anybody that he loved you, and that’s why you had to get him a promise ring. You had every intention of marrying Kevin Keller, and you wanted him to know that.
Unfortunately, you were a bit tight on money. You had taken a job at Pop’s to earn some extra cash. You hadn’t told your brother or his friends because they were the worst when it came to keeping a secret. They thought that just because they got away with a few things meant that they were amazing liars. The only one who even held up a chance at keeping a secret was Cheryl.
Tonight was going to be your last night working at the diner, but you loved this job. It paid decently, and skating was fun. Plus, it didn’t hurt that you got free milkshakes.
“Y/N is-” Kevin started. The gang groaned. They knew what he was going to say. Kevin gushed about his boyfriend at every chance he could, and each time he’d start, it got more descriptive.
“Yeah, Kevin. Y/N is so sweet and sooo hot. He’s amazing, and nobody will ever treat me better than he does. He’s too good for me. The little dips on his chest make me want to melt,” Cheryl said, rolling her eyes. Kevin pressed his hand to his chest and pursed his lips, clearly offended.
“I was trying to say that Y/N won’t be able to make it tonight because he has homework to do,” Kevin said. He flipped off the amused eyes of everybody in the room.
“Hey, what’s up with that?” Jughead asked. His brother had been skipping out on every plan they’ve made within the last month. It wasn’t like him to cancel out like that.
Kevin shrugged. He thought nothing of it. Your last days at Riverdale High School were rapidly approaching, and you had yet to choose a college. Throughout most of your time in school, you didn’t focus much on grades but focused on your brother and Kevin. However, you knew that your grades were the one thing that would get you and your friends out of Riverdale, so you spent many weekends studying instead of getting caught up in the town’s drama.
“You know, he has been acting a little suspicious lately,” Betty said.
“His car wasn’t in the driveway when I left,” Jughead piped up.
“Okay,” Kevin said. “Are you guys trying to convince me that my amazing and wonderful boyfriend is up to no good?”
The Northside gang looked at each other, glints in their eyes. Kevin groaned. He hated when they had ideas. Their ideas always led to laws being broken or immediate danger. Most times it was both.
“We’re not saying that he’s cheating on you, but-” Veronica started.
“No.” Kevin glared at them. “There’s no way that he’d ever do that. Don’t even suggest it.”
“But he’s probably doing something stupid and illegal,” Jughead said. Everyone looked at him, a bit shocked. Jughead and his brother were tightly knit, and out of the two of them, Jughead was the more mischievous brother. “What? Just ‘cause he’s the good child doesn’t mean he isn’t a Jones. The Jones’ are always up to something. Always.”
Kevin sighed. Before he could speak, Cheryl pitched in. “I already texted Toni to see if any of the Serpents have seen Y/N. And look! I’ve got an answer.”
It was too late to back down now. Everyone was already deeply invested in this, including Kevin.
“What the fuck? Is that Joaquin?” Archie asked, squinting to make out the low quality picture. You and Joquain were sitting together in the corner of the Whyte Wyrm, and your faced was scrunched up. It must’ve been pretty serious.
Whenever Kevin talked about Joaquin, he could never look you in the eyes. Instead, he focused his attention on his shoes and unconsciously tapped his fingers against his thigh. He would sigh and take your hands in his. It broke your heart to see a usually confident person so vulnerable and frankly a little heartbroken. You never got angry at him even though he was still hung up on his last break up. Instead, you held him and peppered kisses to his face because you wanted him to know that you weren’t going anywhere anytime soon.
“Guys,” Kevin said. They looked at Kevin, waiting for him to wave it off as nothing, but he didn’t. “You now what this means, right? We have to go to the Whyte Wyrm right now.”
They smiled at him, knowing that he would come around. Quickly, the gang all piled into Cheryl’s car with Archie sitting in the trunk and drove to the southside.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Where is he?” Kevin asked, grabbing Fangs by the collar of his shirt. Their noses were touching, and Fangs began to sweat. He wasn’t supposed to reveal anything about your plan, and if he did, he’d probably end up like Jason Blossom.
“Where is who?” Sweet Pea asked innocently. He was slightly amused because he knew Kevin meant no real harm.
“You know who,” Veronica spat. “Y/N.”
“How daring for a Lodge to be here at this time of day,” Fangs said, avoiding eye contact with Kevin, though it was nearly impossible.
“He said something about the sheriff,” Toni said. Sweet Pea and Fangs shot her a look, but she paid no mind to it. “I don’t know what Y/N has in store, but if it involves the sheriff, then it must be something really illegal or dangerous.”
“Thanks, babe,” Cheryl said, pressing a kiss to Toni’s cheek before they departed.
“What?” Toni said. Fangs was looking at her incredulously. Was she afraid of anything?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Heyyyyyyy, dad,” Kevin said, stumbling into his office. Sheriff Keller stared as his son and his nosy friends all clambered into his office. Knowing them, they were most likely getting into business they didn’t need to be involved in.
“What is it?” Sheriff Keller replied gruffly.
“Have you seen Y/N by any chance?” Archie asked, trying to be nonchalant about it. He was leaning against a filing cabinet and lost his balance, falling and taking a whole drawer of files down with him.
“No, I haven’t,” the older man sighed. “Andrews, will you please stop trying to destroy everything?”
“Officer Keller, please,” Jughead said. “We’re afraid that my brother may be getting into something that could get him killed. We just want to know that he’s safe.”
The older Keller recognized when he was being played, and Jughead Jones had just pulled the sibling card on him. Unfortunately, he didn’t want to wait all night to keep them away because now he had a case to solve and a filing cabinet to rearrange.
“I assure you that whatever Y/N is doing is perfectly safe. Now, please, go to Pop’s and get a burger or something. You can’t cause trouble if you’re eating,” Sheriff Keller said, subtly hinting at your location.
“Fine,” Kevin huffed.
“What am I going to do with him?” Officer Keller said, rolling his eyes.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“I’m starving,” Archie complained. “Can we actually go to Pop’s?”
“When are you not hungry, Andrews?” Cheryl said, glancing at him in the mirror. “Alright, we’ll go. I’ve been craving a strawberry milkshake anyways.”
It was almost midnight by the time they arrived at the diner, so they called in their orders and waited for someone to come out.
You yawned, happy that your shift was almost over. You would be able to cuddle with Kevin and sleep for a few hours before beginning your next shift. Right as you were about to leave, Pop Tate whipped up the food and put in a bag for you to bring to the customers.
You skated out to the parking lot, not paying attention to whose car it was and knocked on the window. You began to repeat their order to confirm if it was correct when you were interrupted.
“Y/N?” Betty said. You snapped your head up from the receipt.
“Uhhhhhhh,” you said. You were at a loss for words. “Double cheeseburger with three strawberry milkshakes and two orders of fries?”
“Since when do you work at Pop’s?” Kevin asked.
“Hey! Kevin!” you exclaimed. There was no use in denying it now. You had been all over town, trying to make sure that the ring you had in your pocket was perfect. Even though you had a slight grudge against Joaquin, he was really close to Kevin, and he would know if this was right for him. You knew that Kevin’s dad loved you as if you were his own son, and he respected you more when you asked his permission to give Kevin a promise ring. “Baby, can you get out of the car for a second? I need to talk to you.”
Kevin dreaded this moment. He knew that your relationship was too good to be true. You would leave him like Joaquin. Wait, were you going to leave with Joaquin? Although he was internally panicking, he kept a blank face as he stepped out of the car.
You got down on one knee, bringing the jewelry box out.
“Holy shit,” you heard your brother mutter.
“Kevin Keller. I love you so, so much. You are the light of my life, and everyday, I find something new about you that makes me fall more in love. Your eyes sparkle brighter than any star, your lips are softer than any flower petal. You’re so confident and sarcastic and amazing. I know that we’re too young to get married now, but I promise you that one day, Kevin Keller will become Kevin Jones. So. . . .” you trailed off, not knowing how to end it. Your heart was close to jumping out of your chest as you waiting for Kevin’s reply.
“God dammit, Y/N,” Kevin sobbed out. How could he have ever thought you were going to leave him?
You panicked, scrambling to get off of your knee, but Kevin wouldn’t let you. He took you in his arms and buried his face into the crown of your head.
“Yes,” he said, through his tears. “I love you, my handsome Prince.”
The gang cheered as you two kissed. Sliding the ring on his finger, you lifted him off the ground without separating and carried him to your car. You were going home to sleep with your future husband.
Bonus:
“Uh, guys?” Archie asked, still in the trunk. “Don’t get me wrong, this is touching and everything, but I’m still pretty hungry.”
