The Keroro RPG DS game is so funny to me not just cuz its a tales game painted in keroro colors its cuz that these frogs know some of if not the most powerful spells in the tales series because they share a VA with one of the characters in said series

The other day I went down a small rabbit hole of Keroro history; besides Keroroland, there was another tie-in magazine released called KeroKero Ace, which was a manga magazine featuring additional chapters of the main Keroro manga, along with some spin-off series, stories with a similar audience appeal, and Gundam manga (a lot of them, mostly Gundam really)

I knew about the two bigger spin-offs that had compilation books, and at least the majority of a smaller spin-off with shorter stories and an educational element that also got a book, but apparently there were three others that never got a compilation book.

The fantasy RPG inspired Keroro Quest had a series that ran from around volume 20 to 38, after that was "Keroro Clumsy Beginnings Tale" from somewhere in the 40s to volume 57, and finally "Legend of Keroro the Great" from volumes 59-69, the last volume released. I'm hoping someday we can track down and scan all of them, but for now here's the karaoke version of an ending theme I was reminded of while doing my research, admittedly due to the credits animation showing the various alternate outfits the characters had

And finally... My crowning achievement of this haul.... Every single Keroro DVD, all 7 seasons and all 5 movies, and their cases 🫣 for relatively cheap!!! Only about 1.75 per disc!! They're packed really nicely in the back!

You ever wanted to mess around with the raw music files of that DS Keroro RPG game? Specifically Keroro RPG: Kishi to Musha to Densetsu no Kaizoku (ケロロRPG 騎士と武者と伝説の海賊 Keroro RPG: The Knight, The Samurai and the Legendary Pirate) 

You didn’t know it existed for many years too? Cool, me either but its got a really jamming OST.

Regardless, I’ve apparently ripped some pixel gifs from that game (I don’t remember How I did that) But now, I come again with .midi and .sf2 files! Why not mp3? Because they’re already out there on Youtube (Will add that in a reblog)

Anyways, I’m getting out of topic. Now You Too can enjoy and modify the OST to that game to your hearts content. Enjoy! (Files added to a reblog because i think that tumblr thing where they hide the post if it has a link is still in effect i dunno im mostly on twitter now lmaoo)

Keroro Gunsento: Keroro Clash!! (name not final) is a fighting game based off the keroro series featuring the keronians as playable characters. The game starts out normally as a traditional fighting game, but after certain conditions are met, it changes over to a platform fighter!! wow!!! so cool!!!

Things being considered for the game:

Team based traditional fighter!! In the Pekopon (traditional fighter) phase, team up with 1 other person for a 2v2 match!! Depending on the character combinations, your Star Attacks (super moves) will change!!

Assists!! In traditional mode, you and your partner each select an assist before battle (if anyone wants to suggest an assist please note that currently we're only doing characters that appear as summons in the keroro rpg tales spinoff)

Here's one you may have heard, but not really thought about, the ending theme for the Musha Kero short; I happened to really like this song, so I looked it up even before I decided to create an archive of all the Keroro music. It's neat though, the CD includes a DVD with the music video on it, the title is more or less "The most invincible exercise under the heavens", so it has a bit of a workout video look to it

It's interesting though, between the original short, the episodes in season 5, the spin-off manga and the other spin-off gag series, there's 4 different versions of the Musha Kero story floating around, 5 if you count that part of the RPG game
