It is named in honor of Etgar Keret, whose father spent nearly two years hiding in a hole during World War II. When he was rescued by the Russians, his legs had atrophied and he had to be carried out. At its widest, Keret House is 1.52m wide; at its most narrow, a mere 92cm.
