double bug hug DI/K - Kenny does eventually infect Leon in order to save his life from a fatal injury, permanently altering him into a rather unique and humanized Verdugo. Leon understands that he would've died if Kenny had done nothing, so being a bug is better than dead-- and not leaving the people he cares about as well as his little buddy behind, alone and helpless to the world's cruelty, either.
