Our Thursday group's first day. "Getting to know each other" The first day is always interesting. Getting acquainted and trying to discover a little bit about each one of them and then sitting down later to figure out how to mesh all these personalities and talents into a cohesive entity. Hahaha. Fantastic lively group! Day 1 play rehearsals at Carnegie Arts Centre with our Wednesday class. It is truly amazing just how hard these kiddos work every week, and they work as a team and support each other. Young, younger, the quieter ones and the less quiet ones all working together as one cohesive unit. Most of the children had never even been on a proper theatre stage and some were very keen on finding out what magic was hidden behind those curtains! So we took a bit of a tour and then "on with the show" we went. We are looking forward to another great rehearsal this week!
