The Grassy Hill in Morioh Town
Second years Josuke and Okuyasu discuss the future
“Oi, Josuke.”
“Yeah?”
The pair were sprawled out on a hill, gazing up at the night sky. Well, Okuyasu was. Josuke had his eyes closed, so he might have been on the verge of falling asleep, but he still answered his friend. It was the beginning of summer and their second year of highschool was coming to a close, which meant that they were more than halfway through their highschool journey. Neither of them were star pupils, but with the help of Koichi and some good old fashioned dedication, they were passing well enough.
Not having a serial killer on the loose anymore did give you more time to study.
“Have ‘ya thought about the future? Like, what are you gonna do when you graduate?”
Josuke opened his eyes now, lazily lolling his head to the side to glance at his companion, who was pointedly not looking at him. He followed Okuyasu’s gaze upwards to see a little red dot moving slowly across the sky, a distant helicopter from the next city over.
“Dunno. Always thought I might follow in gramps’ footsteps, but Mom has always told me it’d be better if I experienced something different before I made that choice. After everything that happened last year, I think she’s right,” he sighed, sitting up now. Okuyasu didn’t join him, “Probably go to the college in S City for now, so I can keep living at home, or at least come home all the time.”
“Your pops could probably pay for an expensive school, like in Tokyo or somethin’.”
“Probably, but I don’t think I’m ready to go that far. Too much happened here that I don’t think I’ve really... unpacked yet, ya’ know?”
It was Okuyasu’s turn to sigh, and Josuke watched his chest rise and fall slowly in the ensuing silence. After a moment to collect his thoughts, “Did I ever tell you what Big Bro would tell me?”
Gritting his teeth, Josuke pulled his knees close to his chest, though a boy of his size would struggle to ever look small. Keicho had become a sore subject in recent times, “He said a lot of stuff.”
“This was different. I never knew if he was serious or anythin’, but he always said-” Okuyasu paused, rolling onto his side so his back faced Josuke, “Never mind. It’s gonna make you mad.”
Josuke pouted, reaching an arm out to rock Okuyasu back and forth by his shoulder, “I won’t get mad! At you, at least. You can’t leave me hangin’ like that, man!”
“Fine, fine!” Okuyasu exclaimed, rolling back over and swatting Josuke’s arm away. He was smiling, which his friend was always glad to see, but it flattened into a tense expression as he began to speak, “He always said that once he figured out how to kill dad, he'd kill me and then himself.”
The sound of distant crickets could be heard, and little else.
“Never knew how serious he was, though, because sometimes he’d talk about how his life would begin after he killed dad. I think, really, what he was tellin’ me was ‘don’t even bother thinking about your future’.”
“That’s really shitty of him to tell his little brother, I think,” there was little hiding the rage in Josuke’s voice. After losing his grandfather, Shigechi, and coming close to losing both his own life and his best friend’s, Josuke had become more serious (when it came to matters like these, anyhow). His age probably had something else to do with it too- sixteen became seventeen, and the gap between him and adulthood grew ever shorter. And that meant less time to hear the people you like accept whatever bullshit their shitty older brothers fed them, “No matter what he said, your future is your own to decide.”
Finally Okuyasu sat up, fruitlessly smoothing out his hopelessly tousled flattop, “Yer probably right, but it still makes it hard to think about what to do eventually. Maybe I’ll do manual labor? Always hear about how they’re hirin’ down at the harbor. Don’t think I’d mind that so much.”
“You’re gonna stay in town?”
The look Okuyasu gave him was all at once scandalized and confused, “Of course! I ain’t got anywhere else to go, after all. Pops’ shitty attitude- cause he was kinda mean even before he started hittin’ us- meant the rest of our family cut us off. And besides, I gotta take care of him, and this place already has a buncha Stand users, so I don’t have to worry about lockin’ him up too tight.”
Unable to help himself, Josuke grinned wide, slinging his arm around Okuyasu’s shoulder in a way that had long been commonplace between them, and would stay so for many years, “I’ll support you in whatever you wanna do, man, so long as you don’t go forgettin’ about your ol’ pal Josuke-kun here!”
Okuyasu laughed, relaxing into the embrace with ease, “That’s my line, asshole! Don’t you go become a city slicker and leave us all behind, ya’ hear!”
“You were the one who grew up in the city!”
Their verbal jabs soon became a physical tussle, and their worries about the future faded away that night as they rolled around in the grass atop that hill in Morioh Town- the place they would always call home.•

“Archer, my name is Keicho Nijimura. Give me your orders and I will accomplish it to the best of my ability, Master”
A rather serious youth stood before you., giving you a curt nod and a slight bow. You held out your hand for him to shake. Keicho seemed to consider your hand before he shook it.
“Let’s do our best together, Nijimura-kun!” You said brightly, “I’ll be in your care.”

10 Live Action Adaptations of Anime You Might Not Know About
Anime is no stranger to the formula of live-action adaptations. Filmmakers and showrunners in both Hollywood and Japan have been bringing classic and popular anime stories to life for years. Whether you love them or hate them, they’ve been around for longer than you might think, and will continue to make their way to the big and small screens.
But outside of the recent hit Detective Pikachu movie, a Ghost in the Shell adaptation that received tepid critical and fan response, and the upcoming continuation of the Rurouni Kenshin films, there are plenty of adaptations of anime that you might not know about. These include plenty of Japan-only TV series, movie franchises, and even some dramas that you can view on Crunchyroll right now! Without further ado, here's a list of live-action anime adaptations that you may be surprised actually exist!
Mob Psycho 100 (2018 Netflix series)
The wildly-popular psychic action anime has a 12-episode series on Netflix. It tells the same story of Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama, a young boy trying to live a normal life and learning to understand his emotions while keeping his immense psychic powers at bay.
Though the show takes a few narrative liberties with some characters, including involving Ritsu in Mob’s fights with Dimple and Teru, the drama remains largely faithful to the entire first season of the anime. It even features some flashy effects-driven fights that benefited from impressive stunt coordination rather than traditional animation.
One of the more notable aspects of this adaptation is its cast, which is comprised largely of alumni actors in tokusatsu franchises such as Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, and Ultraman. The eponymous Mob is played by Tatsuomi Hamada, who played the titular main protagonist in 2017’s Ultraman Geed, which you can watch on Crunchyroll now! His self-proclaimed master and conman Reigen Arataka is played by Kazuki Namioka, who portrayed a villain in Kamen Rider Gaim in 2013. Kasumi Yamaya, who played president of the school Telepathy Club Tome Kurata, had a major role as Kasumi Momochi/MomoNinger, the pink ranger in 2015’s Shuriken Sentai Ninninger. Anyone who dabbles in tokusatsu may want to take a second look at most anyone else in the cast, because chances are you’ve seen them using fancy toys to transform into superheroes before!
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable (2017 film)
youtube
Right as part 4 of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure was airing, Warner Bros. and Toho announced a live-action adaptation of Josuke Higashikata’s adventures. The first movie was released in August in Japan and was planned to kick off a series of films that would adapt the whole story. The film told a largely abridged version of the original story, either splicing together various plot points or removing them altogether for the sake of brevity. These included placing Koichi’s Stand awakening during one of the original arc’s earliest fights with Keicho Nijimura, and Sheer Heart Attack replacing Red Hot Chili Pepper’s debut. The film was highly anticipated, but mixed reception left the future of the series in question.
The film stars award-winning Japanese actor Kento Yamazaki as Josuke, who coincidentally stars in several live-action adaptations. But more on him later. The true hero of the film might be Yusuke Iseya, who portrayed Jotaro Kujo in the film. A short-lived meme that emerged during the film's promotion revolved around just how Iseya achieved Jotaro’s signature hat-hair blend. The meme, which showed actor Asano Tadenobu with a large shaven bald spot in the middle of his head, suggested that Iseya might have had to do the same for his own hair in order for the hat to form around it. If true, that would make him one dedicated actor!
Death Note (2015 drama series)
You might have heard of the series of live-action movies in Japan from 2006 that adapted the Death Note story. Perhaps you also caught wind the Netflix adaptation, a movie that sparked casting controversy and received some negative critical response. But did you also know about the 11-episode drama in 2015 that you can stream on Crunchyroll right now! This show tells a shortened version of Light Yagami’s story, but still adheres to his goal of using a magic death-dealing notebook to save the world.
In trying to condense a 37-episode story into 11 hour-long segments, the drama trimmed the narrative and made several interesting changes. This included introducing Near as a detective and L’s protege in the very first episode, making Mello into Near’s violent alternate personality, and a drastically different ending for L. A few changes were made with other pre-existing characters as well, such as making Misa Amane a pop idol instead of a model.
Already a noteworthy actor in his own right, the aforementioned Kento Yamazaki received praise for his role as fan favorite L. In 2016, Kento Yamazaki won the 39th Japan Academy Prize for Newcomer of the Year for his role in Orange, a film adaptation of a slice-of-life romance manga. Shortly after his work on Death Note, he coincidentally found roles in other live-action adaptations. Aside from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Death Note, these include a lead role in Saiki K., a starring role in a 2020 adaptation in Wotakoi, and a certain piano-playing high school student who we’ll talk about in just a bit.
His co-star and lead actor Masataka Kubota, who played Light Yagami, has also seen work in live-action versions of Rurouni Kenshin, Tokyo Ghoul, and Gintama to name a few. He also won Best Actor in the 86th The Television Drama Academy Awards for his role as Light.
Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon (2003 series)
As a worldwide cultural phenomenon, Sailor Moon has seen three movies, an anime remake in Sailor Moon Crystal, re-releases, stage musicals, and yes, a tokusatsu series in 2003. While it remains faithful to the overall plot of Usagi Tsukino and her friends transforming into Sailor Soldiers to fight evil, this 49+ episode show featured several plot points that are distinct from both the manga and the original anime, becoming its own unique story in the long run.
While originally, Minako Aino is a regular girl who dreams of fame, the live-action Minako balances an idol life, a school life, and being a Sailor Soldier. As Sailor Venus and a veteran Soldier, she’s notably harsher on her fellow Soldiers as she tries to make them understand their duties. Sailor Moon also has an exclusive super form called “Princess Sailor Moon,” a powerful yet dangerous form that combines Usagi and her past self.
The show also introduced two completely new characters in the form of Dark Mercury and Sailor Luna. A short arc in the show saw Ami Mizuno being brainwashed by the Dark Kingdom and turning against her friends. This caused her to take on a new, more evil Sailor Soldier form. Sailor Luna, on the other hand, came about after Luna gained the ability to become a young human girl (albeit with her feline nature still intact). Designed by Naoko Takeuchi herself, Luna replaces Chibusa/Sailor Chibi Moon in the story, as she starts living with Usagi as a human and transforms into a childish Sailor Soldier. Her design takes cues from both Sailor Chibi Moon and Luna's original human form as depicted in the manga and the Sailor Moon S film.
An amusing footnote of the series was Luna and Artemis often being portrayed with cute plushies during various scenes!
Your Lie in April (2016 film)
youtube
Kento Yamazaki continued his trend of working on live-action adaptations by portraying Kosei Arima in an adaptation of everyone’s favorite tear-inducing piano drama. This rendition came hot off the heels of the successful anime that ended in March of 2015.
Though certain characters were omitted from the adaptation, the movie was able to tell the same dramatic and emotional story in its entirety. The film placed at number 3 in the Japanese box office during its initial release, trailing after the Japanese release of Warner Bros. Suicide Squad and the infamous Makoto Shinkai film, Your Name, which maintained its number 1 spot in its third week in theaters. The theme song for the film, “Last Scene,” was performed by Ikimono-gakari, who are known for their work on Bleach and Naruto: Shippuden theme songs.
Tonari no Seki-kun (2015 mini-series)
A hilarious short form anime in its own right, Tonari no Seki-kun saw an eight-episode mini-series. It stayed true to its original story of a schoolgirl sitting next to a classmate who does all manner of ridiculous activities on his desk except pay attention in class. The series stars the actress formerly known as Fumika Shimizu, who previously appeared in 2011's Kamen Rider Fourze and in the first Tokyo Ghoul live action film.
The short segments aired alongside another comedy called Rumi-chan no Jishou. Coincidentally enough, both shows starred girls named “Rumi” as main protagonists.
Ouran High School Host Club (2011 drama)
The popular romantic comedy about an androgynous young girl who gets caught up with the handsome and flamboyant boys who run her school’s host club was adapted into a live action series in 2011. The adaptation's popularity earned it a feature length movie in 2012 that took place after its broadcast, as well as a spin-off miniseries.
youtube
This 11-episode drama adapts a number of the anime episodes faithfully, with each character remaining true to the source material. But the show actually goes a step further to include plotlines from the original manga. Characters like Ayame Jounouchi are featured more prominently than they were in the anime, and the show’s final episode more closely adheres to the manga than the anime did. The 2012 film also uses a manga-only arc as its plot, while also taking creative liberties with its characters. If you wanted to check out the show for yourself, you'd be in for a fresh Ouran experience!
Much like the live-action Mob Psycho 100, this adaptation also included a considerable number of Kamen Rider and Super Sentai alumni actors in its main cast, as well as one who would move on to Sentai. Tamaki Suou was portrayed by Yusuke Yamamoto, who was previously known for his role in 2006’s Kamen Rider Kabuto as Tsurugi Kamishiro/Kamen Rider Sasword. Yamamoto also had a role in a 2012 live-action version of Great Teacher Onizuka.
The Hitachiin siblings were played by twin brothers Shinpei and Manpei Takagi, the latter of whom played Retsu Fukami/GekiBlue in 2007’s Juken Sentai Gekiranger. Shinpei Takagi had brief roles in Super Sentai history as well! The bunny-hugging Mitsukuni “Honey” Haninozuka and the gothic, photophobic Umehito Nekozawa were played by Yudai Chiba and Ryo Ryusei respectively, each of whom portrayed red Sentai rangers in their careers.
Future Diary: Another World (2012 drama series)
This version of the violent survival game anime is a vastly different take on the source material. While it borrows a few details from the original story, there are notable alterations throughout. Seven people (as opposed to 12) are given cellphones that predict the future and are thrust into a dangerous game where the last person standing can create a new future.
The protagonists of the original series have counterparts in the live-action characters, but with different names and personalities. A major example includes Yuno Furusaki, the counterpart to yandere mascot Yuno Gasai. Furusaki retains her stalker-like affection for protagonist Arata Hoshino and immediately resolves to defeat anyone who would do him harm, but she does not initially display any of the hyper-violent tendencies that her anime portrayal is infamous for. As its own original narrative, it's certainly worth checking out to see how unique it is from its predecessor.
Gegege no Kitaro (2007-2008 film series)
Gegege no Kitaro has seen several anime revivals and films over more than 50 years, including its most recent weekly-airing adaptation. It should come as no surprise that two live-action films came about in 2007 and 2008 (not to mention a live action drama in 1985). Portrayed as a young man rather than a boy as he is traditionally shown, Kitaro works with his yokai friends to defend the human world from evil yokai that would do them harm. Using this “monster-of-the-week” format, the live action movies were able to tell noticeably original stories, albeit borrowing from some of the franchise’s classic arcs. The first film reportedly earned more than 23.4 billion yen throughout its theatrical run.
Kitaro was portayed by Eiji Wentz, an American Japanese singer who also performed the theme song for the first film. Kitaro's father, Daddy Eyeball, was voiced by Isamu Tanonaka, who had voiced the character since 1968. He is known for voicing the character in almost every Gegege no Kitaro adaptation throughout his lifetime!
Black Butler (2014 film)
The demonic butler, Sebastian Michaelis, made a silver screen debut in 2014 with a live-action cast. He was portrayed Hiro Mizushima, who also co-wrote and co-produced the film. He is best known for his starring role in 2006’s Kamen Rider Kabuto. He also starred in the live action adaptations of Gokusen and Beck.
youtube
The overall plot remains the same, wherein a young child’s soul is bound to a demon in exchange for its eternal servitude, but it diverges from the source material in multiple respects. The film is set in a modern nation in the year 2020, a far cry from the anime’s original setting in Victorian-era London. Main protagonist Ciel Phantomhive became Shiori Genpou, a female descendant of the Phantomhives who disguises herself as a male descendant to retain her stake in the Phantomhive legacy. Characters like Angelina Dalles and Mey-Rin see Japanese name changes in their live-action counterparts. The film debuted at number 3 in the Japanese box office during its weekend premiere.
Live action adaptations are something of an institution in the anime world. The adaptations listed here are far from the only ones out there, and they'll likely be around for years to come. With adaptations Cowboy Bebop and Your Name on the horizon, it'll be interesting to see how they'll stack up to the original works!
Have you checked out any of the live action anime adaptations listed here? What anime would you want to see receive the live-action treatment? Let us know in the comments!

What Your Stand Says About You (or) How to Make a Well Balanced JoJo OC
Stands are a bit of a tricky concept, aren’t they? We know that they are essentially an extension, or an embodiment of the user’s innermost self, but we never really get an in depth explanation for why certain people have certain powered stands. This can make creating a well balanced oc difficult, especially if you’re struggling with coming up with stand abilities that haven’t already appeared in canon. Well, worry not! With the help of this handy little stat guide/analysis (courtesy of @fugoh and myself), you can not only create a well rounded stand, but also use it to better analyze a stand user in canon. (Note these are all just speculations. It could very well be that a stand’s powers are the result of Araki throwing darts at a board for all we know.)
Step 1: Powers
This is where that whole “extension of one’s inner self” comes into play. A stand’s powers may directly, or indirectly reflect the inner desires, or emotions of the user (with the exception of independent stands, which we’ll cover later). When coming up with a stand’s abilities, it’s important to understand what your character’s core beliefs are. What are their goals? What drives them to do what they do? If you peeled back all the layers, what would lie at their center? Once you understand your character’s true aim, creating a stand ability is easy.
Take Josuke in part 4 for example. Sure, he might occasionally try to swindle his friends out of their hard earned cash, but at the end of the day he’s probably one of the most loyal characters in the entire series. Even if he won’t outwardly say it (because that’s not cool and all), Josuke would gladly take a bullet (or bomb) for his loved ones any day. He has a strong desire to protect those around him, and to keep his community safe from those who would do it harm. And what are his stand’s abilities? That’s right, Crazy Diamond’s healing powers are an extention of Josuke’s need to keep everyone safe, even at the cost of his own health if need be.
Now let’s take a look at the other true bro in part 4, Okuyasu. While his loyalty is just as strong as Josuke’s, it’s limited to a select group of people rather than people in general. One of his major character points is that he thinks he’s not as smart as everyone else, which causes him to suffer from very low self esteem. The Hand has the ability to “scrape” away space, which can be seen as Okuyasu’s way of tackling difficult concepts. Science homework making his brain hurt? Why study, when you can just wipe the thing out of existence?
Sometimes a stand’s powers will reflect a hidden aspect of the user’s personality, rather than a core belief. Jotaro for instance is a man of few words. He’s not good at expressing himself, and thinks that people should just sort of get how he’s feeling without him having to say it. Star Platinum is basically an embodiment of Jotaro’s pent up emotions. SP yells/screams/emotes so that Jotaro doesn’t have to. Koichi’s Echoes is another example of this. Koichi’s a sweet guy, but he’s not always taken seriously because of it. Like Jotaro, Koichi sometimes has trouble expressing himself when it comes to saying “no” to someone. Echoes’ ability to project words/sounds coupled with Act 3’s hilarious personality, is basically Koichi’s way of speaking up and getting his frustrations out.
Not all powers need to have a hidden meaning however. Take everyone’s favorite gun-toting cowboy, Hol Horse. Now there’s a guy who is literally so upfront and open about his own thoughts and desires, that the physical embodiment of his very soul is literally just a better version of something he’s already good at. Bless you, Hol Horse. You are too good! XD
Step 2: Stats
Balancing out a stand’s stats can be difficult. Unless you’re Gary Stu Jotaro “btw I can stop time now” Kujo, chances are you’ll want to create a stand with more well rounded abilities. I find that the key to this is to understand the user themselves. Let’s break it down one by one.
Power: The embodiment of the user’s mental strength/endurance. This one is pretty straight forward. The higher your mental strength, the more power a stand will have.
Stamina: Reflects a stand user’s perseverance or dedication. Does your character always follow through on commitments and relationships? Or do they have a tendency to bail when the going gets tough? The higher the stamina, the more likely your character is to be solid and dependable.
Precision: Based on the user’s ability to focus. Sort of similar to stamina, but it differs in how it affects the user. Is your character the type to sit down and finish a project in one go, or do they get distracted easily and/or move on to the next thing? The better your character’s concentration, the higher a stand’s precision will be.
Range: The ability to plan ahead. If your stand has a high range, your user’s probably the kind of person who’s always thinking twelve steps ahead of their opponent. A user with a shorter range stand may be the type of person who acts impulsively or on instinct.
Speed: How good is your character at adapting to new situations or ideas? Do they embrace change and are always thinking on their feet? Or do they rely on their own morals, traditions, or understandings and tend not to sway in their decisions? The higher the speed of a stand, the more likely it is for a user to be willing to accept things as they come.
Potential: This is based off a users learning ability, and how well they process new information (as opposed to speed which is how one reacts to new events/ideas.) Basically it’s like the old saying goes “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks”. A younger stand user might still have much to learn about the world, and therefore their stand will grow with them. A more experienced stand user might already know themselves (and about life) pretty well. Their stands will already be at full potential.
Different Kinds of Stands
Most of the stands we’ve seen have been either somewhat humanoid looking beings, or inanimate objects controlled by the user. Occasionally though, we’re shown a stand that doesn’t quite fit the usual line-up. These stands are usually either harmful to the user in some way, or represent something negative about the user themselves.
Fractured vs. Whole
Users with fractured/multiple part stands, (i.e. Bad Company and Harvest) are shown to be more unstable than those with whole or complete stands. It’s stated in Purple Haze Feedback that fractured stands are an indication that there is something fundamentally missing from the the user’s life (like Keicho and his struggle to keep his family together or Shigechi’s lack of/desire for friends). Note, this does not seem to apply to users that don’t consider themselves to be missing something. Rohan, for instance, barely has a friend in the world but he doesn’t necessarily see that as a problem.
Stands That Are a Part of the User
Users with stands that are actually a part of them and do not manifest as a separate entity, are usually show to be violent, or vindictive, or unstable in some way. They can also be the result of the user having a warped view of reality. Yukako in part 4 is a textbook example of this. Even when Koichi tries to hit her with Echoes saying “I hate you”, Yukako is not affected because her perception is literally so skewed, that she refuses to see the truth. Her stand, Love Delux, is a part of her because she is wrapped up in her own little world so to speak, and is shown to have a particularly low empathy (unless Koichi kun is involved somehow).
Independent Stands
These are probably the worst kind of stands you can get suck with. Uncontrollable and even downright harmful at times, like Superfly’s power to trap anyone inside including the user. Users with these kinds of stands likely possess a lack of control in one or more aspects of their lives. They might be the kid who gets bullied a lot at school, or a disgruntled employee whose boss demands they work on weekends. Not all people in these situations will develop independent stands however; in fact it is usually very rare. A person might feel frustrated or trapped somehow, yet still possess a fighting spirit indicative of a traditional stand. Independent stands are most likely formed from a lack of control, coupled with a weak spirit, or a lack of mental endurance on the part of the user.
And there you have it! A comprehensive guide to underSTANDing that six point stat wheel. XD I hope this analysis was helpful to you in some way. Whether you’re creating an oc from scratch, or merely looking for a way to analyze the already established characters, it certainly helps to break things down one aspect at a time.

My self insert oc and keicho's relationship is like that playful, sweet type relationship. That i can make fun of you but if anyone else does their dead.
That type of relationship that is at first glance it looks like opposites attract but they have a lot more in common then you think.
That type of relationship where they can be vulnerable in front of each other and learn to heal. Together.
And keicho learns to forgive. Mostly himself. And learn that somethings may not go how you want. And shit happens. But its what you can do now and how to move forward.
Basically he gets a fun, loving, and badass sweetheart girlfriend but also friend for a lifetime from her.
She's like a hippie/glam rocker/popstar type aesthetic. Her stands name is madonna(i have too much to talke about her stand to explain it fully here). And her name comes from her adopted family. Her real name is kristyne rosetta. Her adoptive name is kurisuta risu. (More on her backstory for another post).
And he gets to live and develop and grow on his own. While also being able to be a part of okuyasu's life.
And learns to love his dad as he is. Warts n all.
Again keicho nijimura actually gets some damn character development. Damn it.
I wanted this au and story because i feel like keicho nijimura was cut too soon to have proper character development. And its sad to me.

I love him
He deserves so much more than the fans give him
He deserves quality content. And it's hard to give that when there is so little of him to go off of. So us keicho nijimura fans have to settle and make our own or what little good crumbs we may find.
It's sad.
But none the less. I love him. He's a good guy deep down. And he is a good brother. He just has been through so much crap along with oku n their dad.
His stand bad company is also a representation of his ptsd(and probably many other mental health problems and complexities). As it is very similar how war affects soldiers. As how his life was like a war he and his family was thrust into without warning. He was always on the front lines to protect oku after their dad was manipulated by dio. And how their dad felt survivors guilt for living even tho he should have died when dio did. Keicho taking the brunt of everything so oku could live his life. But also him having to take on the adult in the family, because now his father is basically disabled. It's truly a sad story. And nobody gets it. And i feel keichos resentment, not how he handled it. But then again, what are you gonna really feel in those moments except anger, sadness, depression, etc at something you never asked for? Plus he is Japanese, and their values are a tad bit different than ours. Plus he is a guy and is a young adult in diu. And had to take care of everything simce a very young age.So yeah. A lot of shit was on his plate. But he made the best of it. Oku had to see his big brother grow out from big brother to father type before he cpuld be ready for that role in life. He went from "play with me big bro, lets have fun like goofy kids" to "hey bro the bills/taxes/other important documents came in today but dad needs to sign shit". Bruh. It's fucking depressing the nijimura brothers. However still in that darkness a small gleam of childhood shines in keicho and oku. They're still brothers. And still kids at heart. And tbh i am really really disappointed at people not exploring the nijimura brothers growing, learning, and becoming a healthy people and it pains me that people dont want good sibling dynamics. Like keicho nijimura and okuyasu nijimura are close to my heart as their dynamic reminds me of me and my siblings. I love them dearly and would do anything for them. Even if means sacrificing my own sleep n sanity. But i also know they are their own people. And can make their own decisions. And seeing keicho learning from this is important to me and i wanna see more of. Good god what does it take to get some good food round here?! Anyways. Enough of me venting bout keicho-kun.
I just love him. And the whole entire nijimura brothers arch and them in general. Even their dad. Warts and all. (He reminds me of a kappa for some reason) :'3 ♡

Keicho Valentine's day headcanons.
Here is some keicho Valentine's day headcanons. Ahhhhhh! My baby! 💖💋
(It's a shame there isn't a lot of love or content for keicho-kun so imma do him some love and make some.)
💋💚 💋💚💋💚💋💚🏹💚💋💚💋💚💋💚💋
Despite what people may think keicho is just as much of a romantic as okuyasu.
He just tries to play it cooler than oku. While oku is more open. And keicho is more private. However over time you get him out of his shell.
Keicho on Valentine's day you write him a sweet love note. He is happy with the little things tbh.
You make him breakfast and give him his coffee. He kisses you on the cheek and says "thank you darling. This looks wonderful."
After breakfast you go to the art/craft store to help him find some more supplies for his hobby and occupation of making miniatures. He is doing quite well for his small art business. And if you're an artist yourself. Even better you get some supplies as well.
After the shopping spree, you go home and make each other a home cooked dinner and a night of movies. Possibly either a documentary or even old samurai movies.
For white day he bought you flowers and some of your favorite treats. And takes you out to tonios for a romantic evening.
A nice stroll through the park as well. He twirls you around and honestly wouldn't care who sees because to him your his world at the moment. And all that matters is you two.
You both go home and he plans a very....steamy night. A nice hot bath and other things. I wont go into detail but lets say your neighbors may now know his name very well from now on. >:3
Either way keicho nijimura would love you and cherish you. And of all that he has been through he still has a good heart and cares deeply for those he loves. You make him the happiest man in the world. And you are the light of his life and in a way an angel to him.
Don't tell anyone. But sometimes during more "intimate" moments keicho cries after and snuggles hard. He also smokes on occasion but that's besides the point
I hope you enjoy this.
I gave myself feels with this :'3
I love keicho so much and he deserves better.
Happy Valentine's day jojo fans.
