Lena had heard about the rumors that the hacker was talking about. And she wasn’t going to let the other discover who the new hero was. “And you saying that, do you think I’m gonna sit by and let ya find out anything about the guy?!” The time jumper was ready for a fight if it lead to that, though she was hoping it wouldn’t.

Lena’s body had skidded to a stop on the ground, the device that was attached to her flashing irregularly. Indicating that something may have gotten messed up with it.

There was a lot of things on Lena’s mind that it was always hard to ‘slow down’ and think decisions she did over before actually doing something. That also led to her not being able to tell sometimes if others understood the things that spewed from her mouth. There were occasions when she could, however, this was not one of those times.

“My brain just has so much going on that it just feels like I have a ton of tabs open.” She stated.

“Lena.. Lena Oxton.” The Brit said while sitting down and doing another check of the Chronal accelerator before looking over at Ash and being taken back by the ears slightly. “Quick question, and this may sound strange but, where or when am I?”

She laughed at the compact, before stating, “that’s true -- and he did manage to make me a couple devices to have at home with Emily or the Watchpoint.” Lena couldn’t have been happier when Winston gave her the device that currently back sitting on a stand in her and Emily’s apartment. As great as the accelerator was -- it was also great to not have to wear it all the time, especially in her own home. Without the thing it made her feel normal again.

Seeing him pull out, and announce he had a pair on hand, she grinned, “Lucio, you are the greatest musician I know.” Alright, he was the only one but she did mean that compliment.

Taking the earbuds from him, she stuck them in and waited for the song to start. Once it did she closed her eyes, listening a bit to it as she was reminded of the rainfall from London hitting the ground. And hearing the sound of distant thunder.

“It’s making me thinking of back home, in London. Hearing and seeing all the rainfall that happens there.” She said opening her eyes, a distant smile on her face.

Lena had spotted some kids bullying an omnic in a park, though it was getting late so not many were around, shaking her head in disapproval while watching them. Before blinking up closer, the time jumper was intending on stopping them. Though, she would never hurt kids. That wasn’t in her nature. She did want to help the omnic in trouble, and teach the kids that not all of them are bad. 

Especially since from what she could tell the omnic was just trying to get home.

“Look at this piece of scrap metal.” One of the kids said, poking the omnic with a stick when his friend responded, “Hey, stop that.”

To be honest, Lena was shocked when one of the kids told his friend to stop. So it was only one of them, huh?! 

Approaching the kids, “Your friend is right.” She said, “how about you stop and go home yourself.” Looking over at the second kid, who had told his friend to stop, Lena noticed he recognized her from the look on his face. 

“Why should I care about this thing?” The first kid said, putting emphasize on the word ‘thing’. Though, it was clear that he didn’t know who spoke since he was still harassing the omnic -- this time with a stick, and occasionally throwing in a couple kicks here and there.

And boy, did it definitely pain Lena to hear a kid that looked to be 10 treat omnics like garbage.

“What is it that you want, huh?” Lena stated, as her usual bubbly, happy personality was replaced with disdain and hatred for the hacker.

Oh no.

Lena hadn’t expected to be shoved back into a building. Or for the force of it to damage the Chronal accelerator. The brunette time-jumper looked down at the device as it flickered heavily before pulling her from the current location. On one hand she was curious where she’d end up but on the other hand this could be trouble until she could get the device repaired. And who knew if the location she was going could repair it.

After several seconds she blinked her eyes open, looking around wanting to figure out where she was exactly. All while hoping she could find somewhere to get her accelerator checked so that she could return back to her own time.

Seeing someone a little ways off, “hiya!” Lena smiled, the hint of a British accent clearly in her voice, “could you be willing to help me out?”

Fortuna? Yep, that name didn’t ring a bell at all. Though, she couldn’t quite catch all of what the man was saying after the first bit. Especially since her own focus was on the Chronal accelerator on her chest, thinking.

Hearing the offer to enter the building, snapped Lena out of her own thoughts and back over at the man. “That’s a good idea,” She contemplated quickly about blinking the short distance to the door, but if there was something wrong it might make it worse. So instead chose to walk the distance. “ Though I’m not much of a pool player.” It wasn’t that she couldn’t play, but it was more that it was a game that tended to require concentration, and focus. And even though she could concentrate on things, focusing long enough wasn’t her strong suit.

“Oi, where am I?” It was more a question to herself as she shook her head. 

The time jump took her by surprise and she stumbled falling to the ground as her pistols folded back into the holsters on wrists. And Lena had no clue what happened. One minute the chronal accelerator was fine and the next while she was blinking to get behind someone it sent her to, what she guessed, was another world.

Looking down at the device on her chest, she rose an eyebrow. It looked fine on the outside but she was concerned about if something was wrong on the inside. And without Winston who was going to do a thorough check on it. She was capable of small fixes but she didn’t want to mess with it if it was something more.

Lena had been bird watching in the park after spotting a flock of Pikipek and it’s evolutions around a tree. Due to her just enjoying the calm that she didn’t normally give herself, she hadn’t even thought of trying to catch one of them.

Lena was concerned, but hearing the other say she was fine while she was brushing off the dust from her form. "Alright, if you’re sure about that.”

Lena had been told to calm it down with the usage of the chronal accelerator. That it wasn’t unlimited and did need to recharge. And she was going to do that when she got back to her apartment. However, now the time jumper was going to be taking the long way home as she needed to walk.

Looking down at the device on her chest, she sighed, and was glad that it did have enough power to keep her in present day. She just couldn’t blink to move faster. Caught in her own mind, she hadn’t noticed that she inadvertently wandered into a building until she was no longer feeling the wind blowing her hair.

“Huh?” She looked around, confusion clearly in her voice. “When did I?” Anyone who knew her would think the time jumper would be use to being in places that she’s ‘not sure how she got there’ by now but she was definitely not. Especially when she was pretty sure that she was still in the present day.

Seeing someone, a man, nearby Lena approached him, asking, “um, hello, I appear to ‘ave gotten lost. Do you mind tellin’ me where I am?” She continued on, offering a friendly smile as she explained what happened.

“I got a wee bit lost in my own head and walked in here on accident.”
