It seems like fall is flying by however, I’m still loving my pumpkins for Thanksgiving 🦃🦃. I had a lot of questions about my blue pumpkins so I thought I’d share how I painted them. I purchased cheap plastic pumpkins and used Duck Egg Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan from @vintagecottage150 to paint them. I also painted the white ones with Old White Chalk Paint. I like the chalky look versus a shiny finish that these Dollar Tree pumpkins had. I like to keep several basic colors on hand to create a finish that I’m happy with. Good morning friends. Although I’ve had pumpkins on the table for a while now, it seems more appropriate since November is here. I just loved styling this vintage encyclopedia box with fall goodies. I picked this up a few weeks ago at my favorite thrift store. The original shipping label is still attached and it was shipped to a gentleman in our town in 1951. After a little research, we found he had just passed away in 2016 at the age of 97. Knowing a little of the history, makes this box a true treasure.
