How did the Zurnians survive if Zurn collided into Keelif? Or was that referring to ancient history about how Zurn became Keelif's moon (like Luna and Earth) and they just decided to be mad about it forever?

Zurn was a very close orbiting moon. and when the Zurnians realized the gravitational pull from Keelif increased and was pulling the moon towards it they all abandoned their homes and were essentially on lifeboats watching their home crash into the planet. their city was destroyed but there was some salvageable stuff so they rebuilt their city only it’s not as grand as it once was.
