Finally getting around to reviewing more products from the @kbeautycollective #BeattheBlues box. My feelings changed about these 2 products as I used them and I grew to enjoy one, and like one less. @surmedic_official Azulene Soothing pH Cleanser - I opened this up during a time where I was trying out a few cleansers and most of them were high pH so I trashed them. This cleanser has a pH of 5.5-6.5 and contains azulene, centella asiatica and 3 types of HA to soothe and lock in moisture without stripping the skin. I didn’t find it as gentle as other pH balanced cleansers I’ve tried as I started using it. While I can’t say it was stripping, it was still foamy and my skin wasn’t as comfortable. I’ve stopped using it since. @tiam_global Snail & Azulene Water Essence - This felt like a really boring essence when I first started using it. It contains 87% snail secretion filtrate, Azulene, betaine, allatoin and panthenol, and is targeted at soothing, repairing and helping skin to retain moisture. I didn’t feel it did much in the beginning when using it as an essence and was annoyed with the scent (which isn’t strong). I’ve since switched to just using it like a toner/ first step essence and it has worked a lot better. It plumps my skin and soothes the stinging I feel, esp in the morning, and serves to prepare my skin for the rest of the routine. While I’ve grown to like it better, this isn’t something I see myself repurchasing because I have products that do more and the scent just irritates me too much. Sharing my current #friyayfaves ,tag created by lovely @the__glow__girl . . I did a detailed review on the @23yearsold_official collagen peptide ampoule on my blog. I am loving this ampoule currently.As the key ingredient is collagen (8,650ppm) which helps in improve the skin elasticity and act against wrinkles and aging but the most important thing is they did not use Swine Collagen. This has Marine collagen is obtained from fish scales only. Marine collage has high stability and absorbs easily and does not have much scent to it. Marine collagen is also rich in amino acids. The peptide also a key ingredient in this ampoule which helps against aging. It also contains Vitamin C which brightens the skin and helps in promoting collagen production. It is super light weight, non-sticky and absorbs easily into the skin leaving it supple and hydrated. . I am also enjoying the green tea toner by @melixir.me , thanks to @kbeautycollective for letting me try this gem. . I am loving the @makeprem tamanu calming serum by @credithink which contains 10 percent of tamanu oil. . For eyes and lips i am mostly using @swanicoco.en bio peptine eye care cream these days. For facial oil @beigic_official regenerating oil is what i am loving. . @keepcool_global soothe lotion is my go to moisturiser for morning mostly. Review coming soon. . I also have done a review on @kinvane.global cica balm on my blog. It is a nice cica balm overall. My blog link is given in the bio. . 💜Heartleaf BHA Peeling Pad by Celimax💜 I’m sadly reaching the end of this and wanted to share my thoughts before I reach the end. I have a thing for peeling pads but I do tend to find them a bit strong for my very sensitive skin. I use this once a day and am considering repurchasing this in the future. I’ve been breaking out while having very sensitive skin (irritation from surgical masks) and wanted to see if this would help. It is very soothing and hydrating on contact and has a smoother side which I use for most of my face. I use the gauze side for the areas which have maskne to gently exfoliate it. The heartleaf and hyaluronic acid work together to really soothe and hydrate my irritated skin, while the 0.5% Betaine Salicylate helps with my acne. Being a very low percentage means less irritation for my very sensitive skin. The gauze provides sufficient physical exfoliation of any rough dead skin on the surface, while not over exfoliating. For people with more resilient skin, this might seem a little weak but for my irritated and sensitive skin, this has just been great! My skin feels baby soft whenever I’m done! Urang Love Cica x Opuntia Mask💕 Said to be a world class upgrade, this mask features a 2 pouch system to preserve the freshness of the essence that is all natural and doesn’t contain harsh chemicals found in most sheet masks. The essence boasts 40% centella asiatica, 5% prickly pear cactus (opuntia), chamomile and calendula extracts and promises to be a cleaner, more hygienic way to use masks. While the instructions state to remove aft 10-15 mins, I doubt it would have lasted 15. It was a very thin sheet mask which adhered nicely but the essence was so light and watery that after removing it, my skin was soothed but not hydrated enough. The saving grace is that there was a lot of leftover essence, so I took my time to pat that in. Despite hearing a lot of good things about the brand, I’ve to say this mask is a no from me. I got it as part of my Beat the Blues box and am glad I got to try it out without getting an entire box.
