BIG BRAIN LORE MOMENT

Okay so, with magic being separated into Star, Fire, and Thunder, I was trying to figure out what Bowser Jr’s magic paintbrush would fall under aND I FIGURED IT OUT IT’S GHOST MAGIC

1) created by E. Gadd, a known researcher of ghosts

2) can create portals which are very similar to paintings (which I’ve already decided is Ghost Magic cause it just makes sense)

3) can be categorized as “illusions” due to Jr being able to change his appearance and the illusion of painted creatures being alive in general

#devin speaks #super mario headcanons #this would definitely make kb even more attached to jr #like at first maybe hes just like ‘huh that meathead’s got a kid now. okay. cool’#kb’s the father figure to pretty much every boo but hes the kinda parent who doesnt like any other kids but his own #but then jr gets the paintbrush for the first time and kb’s like ‘wow kid i like your style’#it gets even more endearing when the kid makes a living paint version of him :3 #and now kb likes to try to train jr sometimes #thing is. jr cant actually use ghost magic without the brush so kb’s teachings dont actually work for him #kb knows this and just wants an excuse to have him around every now and then :D #and jr doesnt mind cause he likes ��having playdates with him’ as he puts it
