hello sry for late ass responses ive been hella busy gang 🫡
Hunter doesn't hang with the jocks much, but he's still pretty chill with them. He'd be pretty impressed with Kaylee strength since he thinks wrestling is pretty cool, probably make a few dumb wwe jokes tho lmao. He'd still be his annoying and obnoxious self but he wouldn't be outwardly rude or anything, they can still chill 👍 js as long as Kaylee feels like putting up with him lmao

The Artist Books of Clarissa Sligh
In honor of Black History Month, we are highlighting artist, writer, and lecturer Clarissa Sligh. Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Virginia, Sligh is often inspired by cultural, historical, and political events that intersect with moments in her life. Sligh considers these interactions, or “collisions,” between moments in history and events in one’s life to be significant and transformative. One such example of this is detailed in Sligh’s work “It Wasn’t Little Rock,” which discusses desegregation in public schools during the 1960s, a personal topic for Sligh, who was the lead plaintiff at the age of 15 in a school desegregation case.
Images: Cover and inside page of "It Wasn't Little Rock" (2005)
A notable example of Sligh’s work and its reference to her personal experiences is her 1988 artist's book titled “What’s Happening with Momma?” Here, the artist engages users to “walk” through rooms of her childhood home, following the steps of accordion-folded strips of paper filled with text detailing memories of her sister’s birth in the home. This is Sligh’s first artist’s book, made through the Women’s Studio Workshop in New York.

Sligh earned a BS in Mathematics from Hampton Institute in Virginia, a BFA and an MFA in visual arts from Howard University, and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania. Earlier in her career she had worked at NASA in the manned space flight program, eventually leaving to focus on working as an artist. Her works have been featured all over the world, notably at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the National Museum of African American History and Culture, and more. To learn more about Sligh and her works, visit the artist’s website.

What is the plot of The Prom by Ryan Murphy? Asking for a friend :D
According to wikipedia.. (spoilers below)
In Edgewater, Indiana, at a meeting of the James Madison High School PTA, PTA president Mrs. Greene announces that the school's prom will be canceled because a lesbian student named Emma Nolan wanted to bring a girl to the dance, much to the dismay of Principal Tom Hawkins who supports Emma, but is powerless to oppose the PTA's decision.
Meanwhile, in New York City, narcissistic Broadway stars Dee Dee Allen and Barry Glickman are disappointed after their show Eleanor! The Eleanor Roosevelt Storycloses on opening night due to the New York Times blasting their performances. They are comforted by Trent Oliver, a Juilliard graduate and former sitcom star who has been reduced to playing forgettable supporting roles, and Angie Dickinson, a vain performer who has just quit her part in the chorus of Chicagoafter being passed over for the role of Roxie Hart in favor of Tina Louise. Angie and Trent realize that the four of them need a cause to revitalize their careers. After finding Emma's story on Twitter, the actors drive to Indiana with the cast of Godspell and publicist Sheldon Saperstein.
At school, Emma is bullied and harassed by fellow students Kaylee, Shelby, Nick, and Kevin, who blame her for ruining prom. The actors barge into the next PTA meeting, where they unsuccessfully attempt to rally support for Emma. Hawkins turns out to be a big fan of Dee Dee's. Emma and her closeted girlfriend Alyssa, Mrs. Greene's daughter, meet in private to discuss when Alyssa should come outto her mother.
The actors get motel rooms and book a gig as the entertainment for a monster truck rally, but are booed off the stage when they use the opportunity to preach about acceptance. Hawkins tells them that the Indiana Supreme Court has ruled that James Madison must allow Emma to attend prom. That evening, he and Dee Dee bond over dinner at an Applebee's.
The next day, a number of promposals occur and Kaylee and Shelby find out about Alyssa's plan to come out. The actors visit Emma at the house of her grandmother Bea who reveals that Emma has been living with her since her sixteenth birthday when her parents threw her out for being gay. Barry tells Emma that he ran away from home years ago because he knew his parents would never accept his sexual orientation and has not spoken to them since.
After Emma gets a makeover for the prom, she learns that the PTA has exploited a loophole in the Court's ruling by arranging for her to attend a separate prom alone while the rest of the students go to the real prom at a private club. Emma calls Alyssa for support, but Alyssa admits that she's too scared of losing her mother to come out. Hawkins is disgusted when he learns the real reason that Dee Dee came to Indiana was to use Emma to prop up her career.
The next day, Mrs. Green holds a press conference about the two proms. Angie comforts a heartbroken Emma, while Barry tries to convince Dee Dee to get Emma on her ex-husband Eddie Sharp's talk show; in response, she insists that he call his mother Vera and make peace with her. Dee Dee apologizes to Hawkins for lying to him and they reconcile while Emma, upset that Alyssa would rather uphold her mother's false image of her than be herself, breaks up with Alyssa.
Trent confronts Emma's tormentors, persuading them to support her with help from the Godspell cast. Dee Dee arrives at the motel and tells everyone she agreed to give Eddie her house in The Hamptons in order to get Emma a slot on his show. However, Emma turns the offer down so she can tell her story her own way and sings a song she wrote during a livestream, which goes viral online.
The actors decide to pool their money to finance an all-inclusive prom for Emma, and Alyssa shows up, inspired by Emma's song to finally come out. Afterward, Dee Dee tells Barry that she called Vera, who wants to talk to him. Vera tells Barry that although she cannot undo what she did to him, she still wants them to have a relationship, and the two finally make up.
Kaylee, Shelby, Nick, and Kevin visit the gym to apologize to Alyssa and Emma for their behavior. Mrs. Greene tries to put a stop to preparations for the prom. When Alyssa reveals who she really is, her mother leaves quietly. Alyssa and Emma reconcile.
Later that night, Emma and Alyssa show up early to meet with the actors, Sheldon, Bea, and Vera. Angie learns that she has been cast as Roxie Hart because Tina Louise has contracted shingles, Trent retires from acting to become James Madison's new drama teacher, and Barry is crowned prom queen. The students and many teens from the local LGBT community show up to the prom in support of Emma. As the event begins, Mrs. Greene arrives, apologizes, and embraces Alyssa, accepting her for who she is. Dee Dee and Principal Hawkins share a kiss and start a relationship. Emma and Alyssa finally share a public kiss and everyone celebrates.

In the short film, “The Mystery of Now,” artist and Apache Skateboards founder, Douglas Miles shares socio-political context around the history that lead to life on the San Carlos Apache reservation, the personal history of how and why he started a skateboard brand and team of local youth leaders. His advice on cultivating resilience, creativity, and joy, provides guidance in a time that for many feels uncertain, polarizing and divisive in our own living rooms and around our dinner tables. Air show season includes UK Red Arrows, F-35s and 747s
(CNN) — A British invasion and a Jumbo Jet anniversary tribute are both generating buzz around this year’s North American air show season.
For the first time in more than a decade, the UK’s legendary Royal Air Force fighter jet performance team, the Red Arrows, are touring the USA and Canada.
Known as “The Reds” — the team last visited the US briefly in 2008. The most recent big tour was way back in 1993.
“It’s been a long time for the team,” said Red Arrows Sqn. Ldr. Adam Collins, who supervises the Reds. “We’re really looking forward to coming back and demonstrating the best of British.”
Looking forward to a special show
Collins offered CNN a peek at what they have planned for their approximately 25-minute North American display.
The first half will mainly include all nine jets flying complex aerobatics very close together with breathtaking precision. During the second half they’ll break into groups of five and four jets — each group executing thrilling opposition passes and other dynamic maneuvers.
Depending on the terrain, weather and other factors, some pilots may fly a minimum of 100-300 feet above the ground, at terrific speeds. Highlights include a special formation honoring this summer’s 50th anniversary of Apollo 11.
Geek alert: Although they’ve been retrofitted with digital GPS displays, Red Arrow jets still have analog cockpits because the Hawk T1 dates back to the 1970s. “It’s very nimble — very agile,” Collins told CNN. “It’s the perfect platform and it’s relatively straightforward for us to keep serviced on the road when we’re touring as well — due to its simplicity.”
Red, white and blue smoke is a regular part of any Red Arrows performance.
Red Arrows

Oshkosh: Jumbo Jets at ‘the world’s greatest aviation celebration’

July 22-28: EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, Wisconsin
The legendary aviation-fest at Oshkosh, Wisconsin, is always amazing. But this year promises to be HUGE. Literally. The week-long fly-in party put on by the Experimental Aircraft Association will be paying tribute to the Boeing’s gi-normous 747 Jumbo Jet, on its 50th anniversary.
Organizers expect several Boeing 747s to join this airborne shindig and be available for visitors to see up close.
Avgeeks will be celebrating the first widebody airliner — which opened the door to international travel for generations of Americans. Now, 50 years after its first flight, the 747 is becoming a rare species as major airlines have been replacing them with fuel-efficient widebody twin-jets.
Also, NASA engineers and at least one Apollo 11 astronaut will be on hand for a big celebration of Apollo 11’s 50th anniversary.
Other air show highlights this year
If you can’t make it to see the Red Arrows or to Oshkosh, maybe one of the air shows below might help you scratch your airplane itch this year:
(Again, schedules are subject to change. Check air show sites for more info.)
A Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II
Alex R. Lloyd/USAF
March 30-31: Melbourne Air and Space Show, Florida
What’s big: Lockheed Martin’s super-sophisticated fifth generation F-35A Joint Strike Fighter jet now has a USAF touring demonstration team. The Melbourne Air and Space Show will be hosting the F-35 demo team’s official North American debut, according to organizers.
The F-35 has been called the most expensive weapons system in history, partially due to delays in development. Not only is it stealthy and agile, the F-35’s sensor technology allows pilots to virtually “see” through the floor of the jet to spot potential threats and targets on the ground.
The USAF F-35 demo team flies the A version of the plane. The B version, flown by the US Marine Corps, can hover and land vertically, if necessary.
The Navy Blue Angels have been flying F/A-18 Hornets since 1986.

April 2-7: Sun ‘n Fun, Lakeland, Florida
What’s big: Basically everything. Along with Oshkosh, Sun ‘n Fun ranks among America’s biggest and best aviation events. This year, the US Navy Blue Angels will show off their prowess handling F/A-18 Hornet fighter jets.
Also check out the spectacular World War II-era warbirds and scores of other airplanes of all types.
A Northrup Grumman B-2 Spirit stealth bomber
Sgt. Nathan Gallahan/USAF
April 27-28: Wings Over Wayne, Goldsboro, North Carolina
What’s big: The US Air Force will show off its famed stealth bomber, the B-2 Spirit — which cuts an ominous figure as it swoops in over any airfield. Hundreds of thousands attend Wings Over Wayne every year, making it “the largest free airshow in North Carolina,” according to its website.
A USAF Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor
USAF Senior Airman Kaylee Dubois
May 4-5: Fort Lauderdale Air Show, Florida
What’s big: A lot of people love the super-cruising, thrust-vectoring Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor fighter jet. The official USAF F-22 Demonstration Team — led by pilot Maj. Paul “Loco” Lopez — will be strutting their stuff in Fort Lauderdale.
With a top speed of about 1,500 mph, the Raptor can “super-cruise” — meaning it can fly faster than the speed of sound for long periods of time without using afterburners. Afterburners inject fuel into the back end of a jet engine exhaust flow. It creates more power, but it also burns a lot of fuel.
The Raptor also has engine nozzles that change the direction of thrust — aka thrust vectoring.
When you watch an F-22 flight demonstration you can see how thrust vectoring allows the plane to almost dance in midair — so it can make tighter turns and point its nose at higher angles. This makes the F-22 a badass jet in a dogfight.
Often, the F-22 is sent to intercept Russian bombers when they get a little too close to US air space.
The last-of-its-kind Northrop N9MB Flying Wing.

May 4-5: Planes of Fame, Chino, California
What’s big: Seeing the N9MB Flying Wing, a smaller cousin to the 1940s prototype Northrop YB-49, requires a pilgrimage to Chino’s Planes of Fame, which also features several other interesting aircraft.
The USAF Thunderbirds fly F-16 Fighting Falcons — aka “Vipers”
28th Bomb Wing Public Affairs
May 11-12: Legends of Flight, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland
What’s big: Organizers say it’s the first time in 12 years the USAF Thunderbirds and US Navy Blue Angels will perform at the same venue. Here’s a golden opportunity to see many of the best precision jet pilots on the planet.
A USAF Boeing C-17 Globemaster III transport jet
USAF/File
June 22-23: Vectren Dayton Air Show, Ohio
What’s big: This one is for fans of extra large flying machines. A huge C-17 Globemaster transport jet and a giant KC-135 fuel tanker will be performing separately — and together — at this show. Watching jets that weigh hundreds of thousands of pounds defy gravity reminds us that powered flight is indeed miraculous.
July 3-7: Battle Creek Field of Flight, Michigan
What’s big: Ever seen an air show at night? It’s cool. This event is billed as the “third largest twilight and night airshow in the nation.”
September 11-15: Reno National Championship Air Races, Nevada
What’s big: This is much more than an air show. (The USAF Thunderbirds will also be performing here, btw.) It’s a series of races — while flying at breakneck speed.
And it’s not for the faint of heart.
The Canadian Armed Forces Snowbirds fly CT-114 Tutors
Canadian Armed Forces
October 12-13: Atlanta Air Show, Atlanta Motor Speedway, Hampton, Georgia
What’s big: Usually, the USAF Thunderbirds precision jet fighter squadron would be enough to blow any aviation enthusiast’s hair back. But this show also will host the spectacular Canadian Armed Forces Snowbirds demo team, flying their classic CT-114 Tutors.
Set at the Atlanta Motor Speedway south of Atlanta, organizers say this will be the first time the Thunderbirds have ever performed in an “aerial stadium” venue.
‘FIFI,” a Boeing B-29 World War II-era bomber
Thom Patterson/CNN
October 25-27: Wings Over Dallas, Texas
What’s big: One of only two flying B-29 Superfortresses in the world, FIFI is legendary among warbird fans. Some say its “greenhouse style” cockpit window inspired Hollywood’s Millennium Falcon spaceship in the movie “Star Wars.”
If you can’t afford a flight at the show, at least get a look at it on the ground at Wings Over Dallas. This rare bird is truly beautiful.

She decided to dress up alongside him, dressing as a purple rabbit.
She was a bit angry when he went and practically ditched her to go to his friends ( and never told her so )
*What a stupid boy !*
In which later she went to her dorm, angry and pouting all the while.
A few minutes into the *Nightmare Before Christmas* movie, she was interrupted on your movie marathon with a knock on her door.
She lazily got up, opening the door.
She was met with Pete, his rabbit ears comically dropping.
“ .. Hey, Kaylee. “ He greeted softly before nervously and sheepishly smiling, knowing full well he fucked up.
In all honestly, he was stuck. But if he didn’t go with Gary and Jimmy, Gary would’ve probably forced him anyways.
He opened his empty candy basket.
“ I kept my basket empty so we could go trick-or-treating together. “ He said softly once again, looking at the pumpkin-shaped plastic basket.
Kaylee rose her brows, her annoyed expression softening.
“ You still wanted to go trick-or-treating ? “ She asks softly.
“ Yes. I did… " He admitted, sighing softly as he lowered his rabbit ears.
" I didn't want to ditch you. Gary dared me. " Pete admitted again, looking at the ground with a frown on his face.
The corners of Kaylee’s mouth twitched to a soft and endeared smile, a red hue flickering on her chubby cheeks.
“ You left them, why ? “
Pete would scratch the back of his head and chuckle.
" Because… You mean more to me than they do. " He admitted again, his blush darkening as he shifted his gaze towards Kaylee.
“ And, also.. Gary and Jimmy were gonna prank a teacher by giving a dog laxatives and some dumb shit like that.. “
Kaylee smiled further, her endeared smile shifting to one of amusement.
“ Really ? No way. “ She replied, her tone matching her facial expression.
" Yeahh.. Now— Let’s trick or treat, eh ? "
He would take her hand, intertwining his fingers with hers.
" You have to lead the way since I always get lost. "
Kaylee smiled and leaned in to kiss his cheek.
She pulled away after she pressed her lips to his cheek, which was burning by the way.
“ I’ll go change real quick. “
Pete could've sworn that his heart skipped a beat or two when she kissed his cheek, even if it only lasted less than a few seconds.
He was completely red and flustered in the face.
" Alright… I’ll wait right here. " He said, trying to hold the butterflies in his stomach under control.
Kaylee nods before closing the door and rummaged through my room as she changed into the purple rabbit onesie.
She slipped some UGG slippers on before emerging from her dorm room. She had that purple onesie on, with pig-tails cascading her shoulders and holding a ghost plastic bucket.
Pete was currently looking around the hallway at all of the other students and their costumes.
He glanced over at Kaylee when he heard the door open.
She looked like a cute little bunny, her pigtails and outfit being the main feature of her appearance which he found absolutely adorable and attractive. He was still blushing like hell even at the sight in front of him.
" You… *look really cute in that bunny onesie, Kaylee. "* he would say, smiling as he walked over to her.
Kaylee smiled softly, blushing once again.
“ Thank you.. “ She replied, stepping closer to him as-well.
He took her hand in his, giving it a gentle little squeeze.
" You ready to go ? " He asked, smiling a bit.
If he was being honest with himself, he wasn't as interested in the trick or treating part as he was about spending time with Kaylee.
Kaylee then nods, walking alongside Pete. Pete smiled brightly once she accepted, his smile widening as he walked beside her, making his way outside of her dorm room.
They were walking closely together, leaving the girls’ dormitory. Mrs. Peabody would’ve never known Pete practically snuck in just to see Kaylee.
It was completely dark outside, the sun completely set for the night, with only the moon hanging in the dark blue sky and the stars dotting the void, along with the streetlights lighting their way down the path.
Pete glanced around at the other students, some being dressed as clowns, while others dressed as their favorite videogame and cartoon characters.
" This is.. Kinda nice. " He said, squeezing her hand.
It felt so right walking beside her, he thought.
She nods, occasionally looking over at his face.
She couldn’t help but at least *admire* him at some point, he was adorable! And handsome, she thought.
Pete took notice of this, and decided to be bold; which was a once-in-a-lifetime-thing for him.
" Kaylee, you know.. " He would start in a soft tone.
".. The only thing I truly want out of this Halloween is being with you. "
It was the simple truth, he didn't want anything material like a piece of candy or a videogame; he wanted her. And that was the most important thing to him.
The walk would be relatively quiet, with the exception of the talking, laughing, and chatting from the other students making their way down the pathway and to their favorite destination.
Kaylee rose her brows, her heart leaping to her throat as that red hue was etching onto her cheeks.
“ Really ? “ She asks quietly.
She hadn’t expected this; she didn’t expect for Pete to be so bold and.. Sweet.
" Mhm. " He nodded before pulling her a little bit closer to himself.
He knew it was a little embarrassing, but he was being vulnerable for her. Telling Kaylee that he wanted her the most in his life.
" I really do mean it.. " He would admit as he glanced over at her.
God, he would be able to gush on about her all day and night.
Kaylee registered his charming face into her mind, her blush deepening as she felt herself start to smile once again.
“ Ah, well—.. That’s so sweet of you.. “ She stammers nervously, looking away.
" Heh, " He would chuckle lightly, grinning before noticing the path ending at the entrance of town, with the town only being a few feet away.
" Looks like we're here. Ready to go trick and treating ? " He would ask, grinning, trying to ignore the fact that she was looking completely adorable and flustered as she stammered.
She nods slowly, gripping the plastic bucket with her fingers.
“ Yeah. “ She replied in a soft tone, “ I’m ready. “
