“Katy & Katheryn” New Katy Perry inspired portrait.

Hey everyone, just created this portrait inspired by Katy Perry the pop singer for a new speed painting video that I’m still currently working on. Recorded my painting process and and currently still editing the video.  Was inspired to paint her after tuning into a part of her Witness live stream with her speaking with Neil deGrasse Tyson as I am a big fan of his and was interested to see their interaction. One part in particular that I enjoyed was when he was explaining to her the scientific properties of a prism (also one of her album names) and she also mentioned that a friend told her that she was like a prism as well which inspired the makeup style in this painting.

I’m happy with the way it turned out and hope I pulled it off.
