Apparently Joseph has been sending in self tapes, but the interview was done before he had signed with a new agency so I’m not sure how that affects things. But the replies are interesting too. Thoughts?

I'm trying to do the math but I'm horrible at math as it is and I don't know how much time usually passes between sending in an audition tape, the casting process, being cast and then until the filming actually starts.

If ST5 starts filming sometime between January and, say, April, there could be enough time for Joe to do both.

Or he just said he sent in tapes, because there's been no project announced and he's THE breakout star of this year. Something should have been announced by now, but he seems to do shoots and cons only atm. Maybe he's been told to lie so it doesn't look like he's on hold for something?

And sending in tapes wouldn't mean that, even if he got the role, he'd take it if the Duffers called him and asked him to return as Eddie. But I don't know enough about the business and the workings to give a well-thought out reply, I fear.

Maybe anyone else has more insight and would like to share their thoughts?🖤
