"Apart from One Direction's first album being the soundtrack to my early years in the music business and apart from meeting one of my best friends through them when he worked with them, I think what strikes me the most today is how important Liam and the whole band have been for a whole generation of fans. They created a community, a phenomenon that spanned the globe. They created a bond that not many artists can. It is a musical legacy that will live forever. So even though many who grew up to their music and unique world domination feel like a part of their childhood/adolescence died today, that's not the case. That community and the memories they gave to so many fans around the world will always be there.

And I think the Swedish fans might feel it a little extra. This is where a lot started. The studio on Söder. Swedes who wrote the first songs. Carl Falk and Rami Yacoub. The team at Sony Music in Sweden who made Sweden one of the first markets in the world that 1D broke into. Nina, Anders and Janina.

What I remember most about working with Liam was that it was so much FUN! He was down to earth, saw everyone in the room, cared so much for his fans, and best of all, he cared enough to call his son several times a day despite his busy schedule.

Today I play the song I played during my years at Universal in Sweden. The song that became my theme song there. The song that I played loudly when I was going to surprise my old colleagues with when I made a surprise visit from LA. The song I still love to pump loudly in the car and scream along to. Striiip thaaaat dooooown 💗💗💗

2 years and 8 months ago a lost girl who was in a strange place in life walked into a weird little office at Sibyllegatan and was loudly greeted by a curly haired blonde extravagant guy. She wasn’t too sure what the plan was, but thought “Ok let’s see where this crazy thing will take me” 2 years and 8 months later I’m working my last day tomorrow. I could never imagine the full craziness and adventure that the Fooo-circus would take me on. 🌎🎢 I have the memories and experiences of a lifetime. And my faves are not the ones you’d expect. Of course, selling out Globen and touring the USA is fucking BIG, but my faves are the small things you never see. Going on an unsafe ride in Georgia with Kiwi screaming our lungs out🎡, putting on Thinking Out Loud on repeat after the boys have danced an entire day so they fall asleep while driving back to our beautiful Hollywood home, laughing so hard we couldn’t breathe when Kiwi looks at Flixy and says “No offense, but it’s so white”, debating (SCREAMING) whether Batman or Harry Potter is better while driving down the 101, always picking on Enis because it was my way of showing him that he was precious, going to Gelson’s and knowing exactly what everyone wants, dancing alone at the office with Daffy, long conversations with Johan about VETE, long nights of talking with Kiwi about life, sneaking out to mansions in LA, having a night (drink) of a lifetime with Enis and Ogge in Glasgow (BEST VIDEO EVER) and the list goes on and on. 🍻 So tomorrow will be bittersweet. Things don’t always end the way you imagined, but they end. It’s sad that I’m closing this surreal chapter in my life, but I’m so excited for the next one. I want to thank everyone who’s been a part of this. My colleagues, the boys and of course YOU guys. All the fans have been the most amazing thing ever. I’ve loved working with and FOR you guys. You all are little creative and dedicated geniuses and I know that this is not the last time I do things for you.💞 And if your explosive fan girl hearts also beat for Shawn Mendes, 5 SOS, The Vamps, Rihanna and other cool acts, you should stay tuned, because….You'll see 😉 /Kat signing out from Fooo & Artist House❤️
