Obviously I missed the end of December slightly! I hope you'll all forgive me. It was dark and cold and I fell asleep a lot.
Anyway, only a few new entries this month! (Let's hope Valentine's Day gets us more soon!)
Phantom of the Fringe by Ray Else is a surprise; I hadn't expected to see any more of Else's "Phantom" series, despite its name, since most of it is notably not based on Leroux's novel. But this one, where a man named Eric and his private eye girlfriend visit the Edinburgh Fringe Festival only to be nearly killed by a "faceless stranger" may be close enough?
Phantom Requiem: Hello Isabella by Paul George is... weird. It's set in the 1800s and features a Phantom who is the result of Science Gone Wrong Experiments, perhaps dragging in a little Jekyll & Hyde or The Island of Dr. Moreau to our classic literature jamboree, and he falls in love with Isabella, the leader of some sort of political group that rescued him. That's all we know and the generalized probably-stolen-fanart image in place of a cover doesn't help much!
Son of the Phantom by Katherine Willson is the third in her series of period retellings that follow the plot of The Phantom of Manhattan/Love Never Dies, so they're a very specific taste! In it, Gustave, now 14, is on the Titanic when it sinks, leading Erik to go on a desperate bender. How could it possibly go up any further from there?
That's all for now, but cross your fingers for next time!

It has been a long hiatus, though to me it didn’t seem to be one. Time flies. June and July have flied by so fast, and I can’t keep up, shit things happening one after the other, and I’m still coping… But it’s a process. I’m functioning now enough to write and interact on this blog.
As I promised, this first post is a list of June releases (from June 3rd) and the reviews I found about them until now. You’re all welcome to let me know if you have a review that I forgot to add.
Since July is also over, I’m also sharing this month’s books and reviews.
As always, updating is constantly happening, if you know about a book or have a review, just let me know! 😉
Welcome back on Swift Coffee, everyone!
For the newbies (welcome 😘): if you don’t yet know what this is all about: I’m posting a list every Monday of the books that get released during the current week. I also include other people’s reviews about them! I try to do a blog hop from time to time and spread the word about this feature, but I obviously can’t find every review that’s related, so a sign that you have one would be very much appreciated! Every review is eligible that is written about a book published on the week in question, even if it was written before said week!
So… one question remains:
Would you like to join the ride?
It’s very easy!
These are the rules:
To be featured, you don’t have to do anything else, but to leave a comment below this post, or contact me by any other way, and let me know you have a review. A link to it makes it easier, but if you only say your review comes out on x day of the week, that’s okay as well, I’ll watch out for it! Following me is not a must, but I appreciate it very much, if you do! 🙂
I continuously update this post according to your infos/comments, and I share it again every time I’ve made an update.
The book you reviewed don’t have to be from the list here, if it’s not listed, but published this week, I’ll add the book, too!
You can also send me a review for next week, because these posts are scheduled! 😉

From its origin in 1917 as a small hand-operated printing press perched on the dining-room table where the Woolfs handset, inked, machined, and sewed the book jackets of their own works, the Hogarth Press grew to become not just Virginia Woolf's primary publisher, but also the imprint of many pioneering twentieth-century writers including T.S. Eliot, Katherine Mansfield, Sigmund Freud, Nancy Cunard, William Plomer, Henry Green, and Laurens Van der Post.

Tall, well-built, and strikingly handsome, he rose to fame with his leading roles in films like Magnificent Obsession and All That Heaven Allows. In a career spanning over four decades, he starred in around 70 films and appeared in several television productions. Growing up during the Great Depression, he did odd jobs as a school boy. He became interested in acting at a young age, but was seldom selected for school plays due to his shyness and inability to remember his lines. He graduated from high school during the World War II and joined the U.S. Navy and served in the Philippines. After being discharged he pursued his dreams of becoming an actor. He struggled a lot initially before talent scout Henry Willson took notice of him and groomed him for an acting career. Being extremely good-looking, he started getting attention in Hollywood despite not being highly talented. He played his first leading role in Magnificent Obsession which effectively established him as a much sought-after Hollywood actor. After ruling the big screen in the 1950s and 1960s, he starred in a number of television movies and series during the later years of his career. Images of Chatham County Wills and Estates
Chatham County was established in 1771 from Orange County, having been named for William Pitt in 1759, the first Earl of Chatham. It was Pitt who served as the British Prime Minister from 1766 to 1768 and opposed harsh colonial policies. The earliest known settlers were Quakers from England who settled along the Haw and Eno rivers. In 1907, parts of Chatham County and Moore County were combined to form Lee County. The county seat is in Pittsboro, North Carolina and Chatham County is part of the Durham-Chapel Hill area.Among the first settlers were the families of Armistead, Alston, Dodd, Kemp, Edwards, Womack, Brewer, Lambeth, Taylor, Fooshee, Waddell, and Patrick.Chatham County Probate Records available to members of North Carolina Pioneers Images of Wills and Estates 1798 to 1819 Alston, James to Phillip Rock Hudson was a prominent American actor of the Hollywood Golden Age, the quintessential heartthrob of the 1950s and 1960s.
