Just saw that new preview for yet another episode of Kateplus8 and I am shocked. One of sextuplets looks like she was wearing a fat suit by how pudgy she is. How could Kate allow her to become so unhealthy? And she calls her self a good mother.

People need to back the fuck off of Kate about Collin not being in the picture, at the moment. I’m not an expert in special needs people but I have been working with special needs children for a few years, in different situations/environments. And when Kate said that Collin is away for his “special needs treatment”, it is usually for the better, not because Kate wants to exclude him in any family gatherings/celebrations. If he had to be “sent away”, it usually means whatever the “needs” are of Collin, that it was probably “harmful” to him and/or to his family if he stayed at home and doesn’t get good help for it in the long run. I have worked at a “residential special needs school” and I know/see how hard it is for the parents/family of the individuals that get “sent” here. The family can come visit whenever they want and depending on the individual’s needs, they can have “home visits” or “outings” off campus with the family for a few hours. Rarely do the individuals go home “over night”, but they CAN if the family is capable to handling the “needs” for that time period without the school’s staff around. Every individual has a 1on1 behavioral staff at all times on campus. Now I don’t know the level of severity of what Collin’s “behavioral needs” are, nor am I trying to sound like I do. But it does give me some hints on how “serious” it could be based on the fact that Kate “sent him away for behavior problems” for 3 years now. Which I’ve seen much of that my job. In which case, I stand on Kate’s side and will defend her on her decisions for Collin. With the appropriate treatments, that Kate nor the other 7 kids obviously are certified/trained in, it is most likely best for everyone in the family that Collin is away FOR THE TIME BEING, not forever. Yes it’s been 3 years and counting, but that doesn’t mean Kate has disowned Collin and doesn’t visit him.

And I am from PA, just like the Gosselin. If Collin is at a residential facility in PA, he could possibly be at the one I’m talking about. There are other facilities in PA, but yea, it’s a possibility.
