I’m back to writing, my final assignment is coming along well, all I have left to do is the annotations for all the resources I found (the finding took the most time so I’m glad I took time off writing to focus on that). Finish the wireframe (draft layout of a webpage) and do the report. I know it sounds like a lot but trust me, it isn’t.

Dreams (How do they picture their future with their s/o?)

His ideal future with his s/o is surprisingly very white piquet fence-esque, cozy house in the woods, at least half a dozen children running around (he doesn’t mind if they’re biologically his or not) and a dog and a cat that like to lounge in the sun together.

But he’s all too aware this can’t become a reality if he wants to continue to protect his large family.

His more realistic future is quite calculated, thinking beyond if his mother was to pass away from old age, he knows either Perospero or himself will take her place as head of the Big Mama pirates. If a brawl were to occur for the spot, he knows he’d come out on top, same if it came down to a family vote thanks to his popularity. With this path thought out, he pictures himself on a throne as the new King of Totto Land, his s/o either on his lap or by his side. As for kids, he sees himself having a sizeable brood of children, no more than fourteen and a bare minimum of three, most of which are adopted (think like Doflamingo taking in stray kids but for less nefarious reasons and more to just give them a home).

Kiss (Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?)

Kata? A kisser?

Nope, not till he met his s/o.

First step here is for him to first reveal his face to them, once they show him they don’t see anything wrong it’ll still be quite some time before he’s ready to kiss them. Mostly because he’s scared his teeth will hurt them.

For his first kiss (and quite a few after) he won’t initiate, and after the first couple of times he’s gonna be checking their lips to see if he hurt them or not. Slow and steady is the way to go with Katakuri, honestly, I think he’d be sleep with his partner before trying a full on make out with them. However, as he gains experience, so too will his confidence grow and he’ll be less hesitant to initiate, just give him time.

Though if his s/o individually kisses each of his four fangs he will get chocked up, no matter how hot and heavy things have gotten.

Wild Card (A random Fluff Headcanon.)

This man lives for cuddles, has no idea what being touch starved meant till his s/o cuddled up to him one night. He now requires them to get to sleep and is restless if he ever has to go away on a mission for his mother.

Also, please for the love of god if his partner is bigger than or a similar size to him let him be the little spoon every now and then. Man hasn’t been held since he was an infant and it makes him feel so warm and happy inside, he feels like crying! In fact, even if they are smaller than him, they should just drape themselves over his shoulder as he lies on his side.

Just hold him please, it makes him so happy.

FEATURE: 5 Action Scenes That Represented The Best Of Digimon Adventure 2020

  Digimon Adventure: — the 2020 reboot that took the "Digi-Destined" from the turn-of-the-millennium classic and filtered them through a story that was more focused on action and adventure — has wrapped. From the onset, it had been a goal of Toei's creative team to overhaul the way battling was portrayed in a Digimon series and I'd say they were pretty successful. If anything, I'll remember this series for giving me some of my favorite scenes of combat in the entire franchise. To celebrate its finale, I'd like to go over five memorable action scenes that encapsulate the best of what the series had to offer. 

    EPISODE 2: GREYMON AND GARURUMON VS ARGOMON

  The first three episodes paid obvious homage to Mamoru Hosoda's film Our War Game!, almost serving as a standalone trilogy before rocketing our characters into the Digital World proper. However, it did set up the stakes of the fight scenes pretty well, granting them a sense of brutal and animalistic physicality. Greymon bit, clawed, charged, laser-blasted, and tail-whipped his way through battles, as did Garurumon, setting us up for a series that took full advantage of the "monster" half of Digital Monster. 

    EPISODE 14: GREYMON, TOGEMON, AND KABUTERIMON VS KUWAGAMON

  One important part of any good fight scene is the layout of the battleground. Whether it's the empty block in the arena that became a field of lonely desperation for Gon when he dueled Hisoka in Hunter x Hunter or the limitless Mirror World in One Piece that gave Luffy the chance to pull out all the stops against the nearly invincible Katakuri, the location not only helps with the atmosphere of the fight but influences the characteristics of the combatants. Here, assaulted by multiple bug monsters in a cramped stone labyrinth, the Champion-level Digimon had to be clever in their maneuvers. It's perfect for Togemon, though. Any space to punch in is a good enough space for her. 

    EPISODE 24: TAICHI AND METALGREYMON VS DONEDEVIMON

  Angered over the fact that Taichi had been swallowed by DoneDevimon, MetalGreymon evolved into Mugendramon. Ripping into his foe uncontrollably (reminiscent of the way SkullGreymon lashed out against his former friends in the original series) it was a pretty barbarous scene for a creature who, just a little while ago, was the very ambassador of courage and Digi-goodwill, Agumon. Mugendramon has served as a foe across multiple Digimon games and anime series, and seeing it be the "dark" evolution of MetalGreymon was a treat. 

    EPISODE 30: THE EVOLUTION OF WARGREYMON

  It's not too uncommon, in any Digimon series, for an episode to be capped off by a glorious new evolution followed by a swift victory thanks to the upgrade in power. Digimon Adventure: had already become known for its lavish evolution sequences, but I think my favorite in this new series was WarGreymon's. 

    It had been teased since the beginning, with the monster's silhouette being shown in the OP and being seen again at the end of the battle with DoneDevimon. But here, we got the full transformation and then, of course, the enemies realizing that maybe they shouldn't have tangled with the big dinosaur and the goggles-wearing fourth-grader in the first place.

    EPISODE 54: REBELLIMON VS BOLTMON

  In the best-directed episode of the entire show — courtesy of Nozomu Shishido, assistant director of Dragon Ball Super: Broly, director Episodes 2 and 24 (among others), and director of Adventure:'s final installment — we get a kind of animated dynamism that manages to stick out as worth celebrating and makes the most of the otherworldly designs of the Digimon. In a post-apocalyptic-looking wasteland, Rebellimon makes a last-ditch ride against the imposing Boltmon, and in doing so, discovers the meaning of his life. Of course, the meaning of his life is to "keep fighting but figure out what you're fighting for." But let's be honest — it's the 2020 reboot of Digimon Adventure. It would be weird if the lesson wasn't "Just keep on battling, dude."

    And that's that! Hopefully, this list inspires you to check out Digimon Adventure: if you haven't. I've had a really fun time writing articles about this series over the last year-and-a-half and this is as good a time as any for those that missed out to gorge themselves on the whole thing. But as has been the moral of every Digimon series before it, we all gotta grow up and move on someday. Of course, moving on means usually going to the next Digimon series, so I'm sure I'll see you there, too.

One Piece Chapter 882 Review

One Piece is back from the break and this time we finally get the battle between Katakuri and Luffy started. Well, that is until it decides to sets up more events outside of the battle by the second half. That said it doesn’t take away the overall enjoyment of the chapter as it continues to compel in more ways than one. The arc may have gone long, but it maintains the development of interest well.

The battle is so far entertaining with Katakuri being a real badass as well as surprisingly being a nice big brother. That is rather rare to see the combination for a villain. His mochi use is staggering, including folding the platform like play-doh. I seriously wonder how Luffy supposed to defeat him with his great offensive maneuver. What makes it even more daring is Katakuri can use awakened devil fruit, which allows him to use his mochi power on the environment. It’s getting really interesting to see awakened mode in action. It does open up for more creativity with their power.

Bruleé is aggravating but fortunately (ironically), she is a villain and made to be that obnoxious. Luffy pretty much speaks for us when we get highly annoyed by her rubbish crap. That said it is rather amusing to know Katakuri and his glorious attributes. He was like a gifted child that he doesn’t sleep on his back, rather sits up and sleep like a champ. Seriously, he is too good for this family.

I am a bit skeptical if all she blabbed about it is an indication that Katakuri will lose in possibly farfetched way. If he has to go down, he has to go out like a champ for a villain. I would laugh if his weakness is like a turtle; push him down on his back and he will cry for mercy. On the other hand, I think it would stir some flames from the fandom. Regardless, even though Bruleé went on and on, he still protected her like family sticking together. Aw…

Although the battle was halted in the next half of the chapter, it does have some interesting developments to exploit. First in which is Big Mom isn’t stopping at all and instead, head over to Nuts Island, even though Pudding and others are at Cacao Island. I guess her rampage will do much more harm than I initial thought. It could lead to some interesting aftermath for her since she could ultimately ruin it more than Luffy. Ah nuts…

Pekoms may have done some foolish things, but I still respect him for loving his kind greatly. It still plays off that Pedro is dead, which leads them to react with sadness and respect. Tamago’s reflection from Pedro’s words about Straw Hat Pirates is intriguing because he now feels the effect. He is actually drawn to his words and sees the amount of damage that they have caused. They can’t hide the fact that they underestimated them and they paid the price. Mont D’or was being a hard ass, but like they say, stubborn fool is hard to be convinced.

Despite the entertaining battle ensued, the setup is compelling. Bege and his crew are going after Chiffon in a convenient way since they are being followed, so why not get your wife back on the way home. This guy continues to impress me. I still remember how I detested him in the last arc, but this arc changes my mind significantly. It must be Oda’s magic.

The other major update is Germa 66 is not out of sight. The chapter was trying to fool the audience that Germa was taking out, even though I didn’t buy that. What I didn’t expect is the annihilation of the Big Mom’s henchmen by Germa 66.

It’s odd because I didn’t like them for their past actions and I still don’t; but I can’t deny the last pages of them standing over piles of Big Mom’s henchmen look pretty damn badass. Payback is, well you get the picture. I am pretty hyped to see how this setup will lead to since not only Bege is coming to Cacao Island but so will eventually Germa 66. I wonder how this will play with Sanji now. Hell, I wonder if these guys can change my mind about them. Reiju is fine, so the other two must impress me.

The art is pretty solid with the action. I like the battle so far with its layout and creative use of their ability. Katakuri continues to be the shining point of the battle as Luffy continues to struggle. His badass mark, including his anticipation for Gear 4, has no limit. The last double page makes the damn Germa 66 look badass, which is great since they needed this moment after almost being assassinated like no big deal. Now they feel like they will be the one taking the throne.

It’s a compelling with a fun action and intriguing setup that would eventually lead to some of the exciting plot points yet. I guess the downside is the ETA for Reverie to occur this year may have to be delayed, let alone for Kano Country. I don’t mind so much, so long it continues to be entertaining and from what I see with its buildup, it will be worth it.

With an angry look on his face, Hemlock turned his head to Absinthe once more.

"You think by killing me you'll get rid of your problems?! Hah," he spat out, along with a gush of blood, "I already sold hundreds of copies of Totland's layout to various bigshots, and I'm sure that upon hearing of my assassination they'll come and take revenge!" Katakuri drove his trident further into Hemlock's guts, having heard enough of his last attempt to scare Abbie.

"I... I will not... be forgotten like this..." Hemlock coughed before his eyes turned white.

“I know,” Michelle said with a sad tone in her voice and looked to the side, “but… they didn’t really want to fight you. Why couldn’t you just let them go?” she asked while staring at the lifeless bodies of the three intruders that had invaded Biscuit Island, before looking up at her husband.
