Day #7 June 20, 2019

I missed a day, and honestly i am surprised that i  missed it yesterday. The reason i missed yesterday might be because i am in a system now. So i am just waiting until my appeal is reviewed until then i am just sitting around doing nothing. That may be one reason, another reason, and the more likely reason, is i took someone to the airport. This was someone i was kind of attracted to, but it was because of how she made me feel. Her name is Olivia, and i was so surprised at the ease of which i felt happiness around her because it is something that i hadn't felt since dating Kasea Belle, and it was something that i didn't think i would feel for a very long time again, if ever again. But i did, and it was nice and it opened my eyes up to the fact that i need to get over Kasea Belle and i need to just be willing to embrace the fact that other people may have the capacity to make me feel amazing and happy by just being around them. I will always hold Kasea Belle near and dear to my heart and i will always love her, but that is just how the heart works i think right? i know now that there will be someone else who does it better and now that i see there is potential for someone else to do it better if i give them the chance and don’t shut everyone down before giving them that opportunity then maybe there is hope for me that i don’t end up alone. Only time will tell.

Day #36

Today is Saturday, and although nothing important is going down, i wanted to say what has happened the past few days and what is going to happen in the near future. First off, the past. Over the past few days I have turned in all of my TA-50 and I also went to the legal office. I haven't really gotten into the woes of what happened with my brigade board months back, but the short of it is that i feel like i was wronged by the Army and by an officer who just wanted to look good so he fried me wrongfully. That being said, I finally made my way down to the legal assistance office and got things set in motion to make it so that I can find out what my rights were during that brigade board and what exactly went down and everything. There were two reasons for me doing this, the first is I decided that I wanted to ask the superintendent to retain me. I know that this is pretty late in the process but i came to the realization that unless I exhausted every available opportunity for me to be here then I would not be happy with myself when I look back on this moment in my life. The second reason is because someone who barely knows me showed an interest in me and showed a drive that motivated me to go and get it done. But also, this young girl is different than other people, she reminds me of Kasea Belle in a way and that’s pretty awesome. So now that i have met with the new BTO, i will meet with the new Commandant and then hopefully with the Superintendent. 

That provides a good transition as I move into the next part of this post, the future. I am set to leave from the United States Military Academy on the second of August. I am not really ready to go back, but i am prepared. I’m not sure that makes sense, but to me it does. What i mean by that is that although i don’t want to go back, i will and i know i will survive and everything. It just changes the way i planned on doing things. Secondly, I don’t know what will happen to me on that day. where i will go or what i will do. That is something that i really wish they would sort out because it would help in getting my ducks in a row. 

Beyond those two things, I am looking good, i have been going to the gym very consistently and i am really happy with the progress that i am seeing. I have been working out with a young lady the past few days and i may even lift legs, we’ll see. honestly though, my upper body is looking good and i am excited to keep it all going and to get back to where I was post Iraq. Today I’m going to hit back. I think that is something her and i can lift together and we would both enjoy.
