It appears as though someone has been in denial about a wrong choice made in love. Perhaps someone has been trying to force things to work with the wrong person.

We start today’s reading with Justice in reverse, crossed by the 10 of Wands. Justice reversed is the denial, it also represents dishonesty, unclear expectations, guilt, and the inability to except unfair outcomes. It’s clear that some decision made about love & partnership didn’t stand up to the expectations someone had when making the decision, but there’s also a refusal to accept this defeat.

The 10 of Wands represents carrying too many burdens or obligations, stress & burning out from all of it. It suggests the way to drop this particular burden is to surrender your expectations all together, along with your need to be right. Sometimes admitting defeat is all that’s needed to turn things around and usher in the karmic justice one deserves.

This whole situation is flanked by Death & the Lovers respectfully. The Death card represents transformation. It’s allowing something to end completely so something new and more aligned can begin. There is a surrender & release needed to activate this transformation. I really get the sense that the Universe is trying to help guide you through this transformation, but there is a strong resistance to surrender.

The Lovers card represents a significant connection between two people, but most importantly it represents choices in love. These choices are meant to be made with a balanced heart & mind, meaning one clearly understands their own needs & desires, then makes intentional decisions based on this understanding of self. This is a second chance to make better choices, that are more closely aligned to your vision of what a true love partnership means for you.

Cord Cutting 🕯️✂️🕊️

I feel a lot of conversations surrounding karmic cord cutting are targeted towards cutting karmic ties with other people but imo the strongest energy work you could possibly tap into has to do with nothing but yourself, your own energy. The biggest impact one can make for themselves, the people around them, the world, all starts from within. It's super easy to slip into the rabbit holes of karmic cycles. Translating the spiritual term of "karmic cycles" or "karmic ties" into a more grounded, physical world view, would be described such as depression, anxiety, negative self talk, judgment, self sabotage, jealousy, imposter syndrome, overindulgence, & so on & so on; all of the things that hold us back from moving forward & finding growth on a soul level is considered karmic cycles. Karmic cycles teach us things about ourselves & usher in development but ultimately we are meant to find the lesson & move on to new lessons for our development, lessons that don't always have to be damaging. There are many ways to conduct a cord cutting ritual but this way is my personal favorite. Having major placements of my birth chart in the elements of fire & earth, I love to watch the bullshit burn & lay it to rest as the energy is consumed by the earth. Cut the karmic ties that hold you back (fyi: rituals never work if you don't put in the work ) ✂️🕯️🌍 🤍

It appears as though someone is having a very difficult time emotionally letting go of something or someone that is not for their highest good.

First, I want to point out that we have 3 Major Arcana cards here, which indicates something really significant & spiritual in nature going on. This is a massive transformation & someone is feeling every bit of it.

We start today’s reading with the Devil, crossed by the Page of Cups. The Devil represents our toxicities and addictions. It’s all the things that exert external control over us and keep us trapped in bondage. The Page of Cups represents emotional depth, intuition, creativity, and new beginnings. Together these cards tell me that someone’s emotions have been keeping them trapped in a toxic cycle.

I looked underneath the Page of Cups to see what was fueling this negative emotional cycle and sure enough, I found the 3 of Swords. The 3 of Swords represents heartbreak & emotional pain. This particular 3 of Swords depicts one skeleton sitting on the head of another skeleton, while plunging 2 swords into their back. This tells me someone feels heartbroken & deeply betrayed by another. I also believe this betrayal may have caused a trauma bond between the two and it’s this toxic bond that has been holding someone hostage & preventing them from experiencing a much needed emotional transformation.

This highly emotional trauma bond is flanked by the High Priestess and the Wheel of Fortune respectively. Together these cards signify deep, spiritual transformation and personal growth.

The High Priestess represents intuition, mystery, inner wisdom, and esoteric knowledge. Someone is being guided to look within for the answers here. The High Priestess suggests that whoever is experiencing this situation is extremely powerful in their own right and already possess the spiritual wisdom needed to break this cycle. You are being called to listen carefully to your inner voice andtrust the changes that your intuition guides you towards. 

The Wheel of Fortune represents unexpected change, new beginnings, destiny, and fated events. It suggests that great positive change comes through looking within and embracing your spiritual nature.
