Little Kid Karma Headcanons

Karma used to be a very energetic and Kind child actually

I believe that his sadistic side developed when he got older

His parents neglected him from a very young age. Maybe it was because of their work, but I‘m not sure

They always had a Nanny look after him, so he never really had any parental figure to look up to

Since Karma didn’t get much attention from his parents he tried everything he could

He started picking fights with other kids, thinking that maybe his parents would give him some sort of attention

But when the Principal of the Kindergarden called his parents and told them to get him home they never answered the phone

Karma‘s family seems to be fairly rich, so they tried to make him feel happier by buying him anything that he wanted at the moment

But it could never satisfy little Karma

Karma was always envious of people with siblings

He didn’t care if they were younger or older

He just wanted someone

Someone to talk to, someone to share his interests with, and someone on who‘s shoulder he could let himself cry

He wanted this more than anything else in his entire life

Money didn’t matter to him, all he wanted was someone

Karma used to cry a lot

Mostly at night, after his Nanny said goodbye to him

He developed some kind of hate against his emotions and tries to suppress them

Karma‘s childhood used to be pretty sad tbh

He always had bruised knees

He thought it looked cool

He also used to skate

And he also owned a pet fish named Gary, just because

A Glittering Net-second generation headcanons

So, the author of the AssClass fic 'Teenage Wasteland' (Professional Magical Girl on FF, @did-somebody-say-exorcism ) made a headcanons list of the second generation kids that appear here, inspired by what I did way back for my own second-genner multichapter 'Ending the End Class', and seeing that made me think it'd be cool to do second genner lists for my other AUs of 'A Glittering Net' and 'Amaranthine'. I have no idea when I'll get around to the 'Amaranthine' one (that one's a little more gnarly to organise), but here's the 'A Glittering Net' one. Nagisa Shiota and Rio Nakamura

Akari Shiota, aged 19 (Birthday:  October 19th). Main character/ POV of the entire story. A fiercely passionate, slightly hot-tempered but incredibly loyal and kind. She takes a lot of pride in her parents’ history, though she goes through a lot of conflicted feelings about it too over the course of the story. She aims to become a counsellor at The Yukimura School and has a passion for making jewellery. She is very close to the Isogai twins, particularly Kaname.

Saki Shiota, aged 12 (Birthday: July 1st). A sweet, soft-natured and very happy-go-lucky girl, Saki is popular with her peers. She’s still the type of girl who likes to chat the ears off of anyone who’ll listen, but she grows out of that tendency eventually (though she will always be outgoing). Though she is hardworking, she has no real ambitions yet, and just lives each day as it comes. She also really looks up to Akari, who in turn dotes on her.

Yuuma Isogai and Megu Kataoka

Kaname Isogai, aged 19 (Birthday: September 12th). Childhood friend and classmate of Akari for most of their schooling life, he’s pretty protective of her. He takes after his father in a big way from good looks to absolute kindness and most things in between, but is a bit more shy and bashful and with a slightly goofy side. With a keen interest in flowers, it’s inevitable that he ends up a florist.

Ayame Isogai, aged 19 (Kaname’s fraternal twin).  Childhood friend and classmate of Akari for most of their schooling life, she’s friendly but a bit blunt at times. She is generally down to earth, but has a tendency to get very goofy. On top of this, she’s a complete utter glutton-she doesn’t quite eat everything in sight, but she gets damn close to it.

Tsukiko Isogai, aged 16 (birthday: January 25th). Quiet, plain and a bit unassuming, she always looked up to her older siblings but always felt like she could never really get a look-in with their twin bond, never mind their relationship with Akari, so as a result she has a somewhat tepid relationship with them. This has sort of filtered out into the rest of her life, so she comes across your stereotypical demotivated teen who just plods through life. But she’s not a bad sort, really. Only has minor appearances and some mentions in the story.

Toshi Isogai, aged 10 (birthday:  April 6th). Cheerful and developing an interest in swimming, he’s a bit indulged as the baby of the family, but he’s basically an average well-adjusted kid. Doesn’t appear in the story, and is only briefly alluded to as a pregnancy in the scene that celebrates the opening of The Yukimura School.

Hiroto Maehara

Misato Maehara, aged 19 (Birthday: August 17th). Also a childhood friend of Akari’s, though not as close to her as Kaname and Ayame are. She’s a bit snarky but otherwise is generally very chilled out, with not many things seeming to bother her. Since their parents divorced when she was 16, she has been trying to get her father set up with Hinata Okano, but with little success. She wants to go into something high-powered and business for a career, and gets advice from Yada a lot.

Yoshimi Maehara, aged 18 (birthday:  December 25th). More emotional than her sister, she is also sporty and just generally very active-she becomes a member of the tennis club for both middle and high school and likes to go on runs in the morning. She has ADHD and struggles with it, but at the same time takes it all in stride. She’s rather resilient anyway. Currently in a relationship with a classmate, and also commiserates with Karma a lot over the woes of having a Christmas birthday. Only has a couple minor mentions/appearances.

Tomohito Sugino and Yukiko Kanzaki

Haruki Sugino, aged 17 (birthday: May 3rd). A scholarly, studious type, at times Haruki comes across as the typical absent-minded academic genius, though really he’s only a little brighter than average. He’s honest and warm-hearted, and would have liked to be an older brother, but unfortunately his parents couldn’t have children after him. Still, he is happy with his life in general-he is hoping to become an author one day. Only has one mention/appearance in The Yukimura School celebration scene.

Karma Akabane and Manami Okuda

Yumiko Akabane, aged 10 (birthday: July 31st). Sunny natured but extremely reckless, Yumiko is the type of child who gets into all sorts of antics that would make any parents’ hair curl. As it is, she has the luck to have parents who generally take it all in stride (though Manami encourages caution while Karma is more lackasadical). But she knows when not to push things, being an unusually sensitive and perceptive child. Alluded to as a pregnancy in The Yukimura School celebration scene, no appearances beyond this.

Yasuo Akabane, aged 8 (birthday: November 18th). Because he seems to take after his mother, he tends to be underestimated as the ‘good, quiet’ child. In fact, he is far too much like his older sister for his own good, exacerbated by the fact he considers her his role model. Has no appearances or mentions in the story, but thought he was worth mentioning because sibling.

Tadaomi Karasuma and Irina Jelavic

Anna Karasuma, aged 23 (birthday: February 14th). Design roughly based on Karasuma and Irina’s canon daughter, Anna has always been striking and one to attract a lot of admirers. Because of this, she can be a little snooty, but is well meaning. She works at an international fashion magazine and models part-time, and though she dates extensively, is really looking for ‘The One’ so she can settle down. Only has a brief appearance in The Yukimura School celebration scene.
