Kardama The Shadow Man
Kardama is a shadow that came to life and is now leading an army of indoctrinated human spirits that can be controlled by the shadows they use.
He uses all pronouns but prefers he/him and they/them. They leaned ballet at a young age and it still has some effect on how they move around. He is one of my favorite characters that I draw.
Original paper drawing and thumbnails under the cut.

Transcript:
Sunday March 31st - Monday April 1st, 2002. I have a talk with my friend Kardama.
Kaisa: It's not like I'm saying I'm a fully self-realized soul now... Kaisa: But somehow I feel that after all this talk about not being the body but a soul it's easier to accept that the body is imperfect and changes. Kardama: Yeah, for most people it would be super hard to have their feet amputated. Kaisa: Young people seem to think that they're invincible and sickness comes as a huge shock to them. Kardama: Maybe people are so shocked by your amputation because they realize for the first time it could happen to them. Kaisa: You're probably right.

Sati Anusaya Purana Odia Puja Book
Anasuya is an ascetic, and the wife of Sage Atri in Hinduism. She is the daughter of Devahuti and the Prajapati Kardama in Hindu texts. In the Ramayana, she lives with her husband in a small hermitage on the southern border of the Chitrakuta forest. A pious woman who leads an austere life, she is described as having miraculous powers.
Anasuya is the sister of the sage Kapila, who also served as her teacher. She is extolled as Sati Anasuya (Ascetic Anasuya) and Mata Anasuya (Mother Anasuya), the chaste wife of Sage Atri. She becomes the mother of Dattatreya, the sage-avatar of Vishnu, Chandra, a form of Brahma, and Durvasa, the irascible sage avatar of Shiva. When Sita and Rama visit her during their exile, Anasuya is very attentive to them, giving the former an unguent that would maintain her beauty forever.

Why were Families Huge in Vedic Times?
Why were Families Huge in Vedic Times?
Family of Kardama and Devahuti | Srimad Bhagavatham-12 At the beginning of creation, Swayambhuva Manu was the chief of the Prajapatis. He was at the helm of populating the universe. His children were (3 daughters), Akuti, Prasuti and Devahuti and his sons were Uttanapada and Priyabrata. Devahuti was the chief of Manu’s daughters. Thus, she married Sri Kardama Rishi who was also designated the…

The Seven Rishis, The Big Dipper The Hindu seers, of whom many were incarnations of Vishnu. The most famous were Gotama, Bharadjawa, Viswamitra, Jamad-agni, Vasishtha, Kasyapa and Atri, as well as Bhrigu and Daksha. GOTAMA One of the Rishis, to whom was ascribed the authorship of a book on law BHARADWAJA One of the Hindu Rishis, he lived through three lives, at the end of which he 'became immortal and ascended to the heavenly world, to union with the sun'. VISWAMITRA One of the great Rishis of Hindu legend, he once ordered the river Saraswati to bring to him Vasishtha for execution, but the river defied him, instead carrying his prey far away. In rage, Viswamitra turned the river to blood. JAMAD-AGNI One of the Hindu Rishis, Jamad-Agni perceived Renuka, his wife, as fallen from perfection, after her envious desires had been brought to the fore by her witnessing of a loving couple bathing, and ordered his five sons to kill her. Four refused, and were cursed to idiocy by the enraged father, but the fifth, Parasurama, obeyed, striking off his mother's head. This act of obedience calmed Jamad-Agni, and he granted his son's wish that his brothers be restored to sanity, and his mother restored to life. The Rishi was killed by one of the Kartavirya, whom Parasurama in turn slew. BHRIGU One of the Prajapatis, who surveyed the gods, to see which of them was worthy of the worship of both gods and men, finding Vishnu the only one worthy. DAKSHA One of the Rishis, Daksha was the son of Brahma, springing from the god's right thumb, but he was condemned to go through a rebirth as a result of a curse laid on him by Shiva, his son-in-law. This had to do with the inadvertent exclusion of the Destroyer from a sacrifice to Vishnu, for which the god retaliated to devastating effect, laying low most of the gods gathered there. Daksha himself was decapitated, and his head thrown in the sacrifical fire. After due apology and entreaty, Shiva agreed to restore his victims, but as Dashka's head could not be found, he had to make do with that of a ram. ATRI Atri Rishi was one of those seven sons of Brahma. Atri practiced severe penance for countless number of years and attained Brahma-Jnana (Self-realisation). Later, at the instance of Brahma, he married Anasuya, the daughter of Kardama Prajapati. Anasuya was embodiment of perfection and was entirely blemishless and her name itself indicates, was devoid of even the least taint of envy, which is one of the greatest blemishes among humans. She has no malice against anyone and had overwhelming and motherly love for all beings. She was an embodiment of chastity, who worshipped and considered her husband alone as God. She is reckoned foremost among Pati-vratas, i.e., those whose devotion for their husbands is unalloyed and supreme. Her fame and glory spread far and wide, all over the three worlds.

KARDAMA KARDAMA KARDAMA!! yap on him please 😔
ABOUT KARDAMA?? Oh boy hmmMMM He actually really likes plants :) His personality is a lot softer than his appearance and while he was imprisoned underground, he often would tend to the plants that would grow due to the light peaking through the cracks (They die though and he gets sad) He would suck at taking care of himself, since The Eclipse essentially stripped him from his authority, his appearance became very 'mortal' and he wasn't used to that LOL it's okay though, his wife helped him
Kardama hates being in crowds, due to feeling confined, doesn't like his hands or wrists being touched either. It takes him a long recovery time! After story he becomes a ruler for Jewel once again! Though it takes a while for the people to truly accept who he was since they were forced to forget him completely. He finds happiness with his wife and close friends :D

Thinks about the history of Morgana
So Morgana was originally named Andri, and it was a frozen wasteland that was ruled over by a singular tyrannical king. The kingdom was essentially a fortress, and this king was obsessed with power.
He was a cryo sorcerer
He took advantage of his people and forced them to work day and night in the mines and various underground caves in order to find gold and gems.
Eventually, these people get sick of this. A woman, dressed in all black, stands up and creates a plan to overthrow the king, her name was Kardama.
She led the mob of angry people on horse to the king’s palace, and they had overthrown the king and his people.
After the king died in the battle (beheaded by Kardama), all of the ice in the area melted, and flooded the nearby land, and is what earned Morgana the name of Morgana.
Kardama was elected to be the new Monarch of the kingdom, and the kingdom’s alternative name was created (Agrona).
Kardama was a necromancer, and she was the one who ended up planting the Mors tree, at Maveth’s request.
The title of Lord and Lady were created as replacements for King and Queen, however they do hold the same power as the title of King and Queen would.
The reason the titles were changed is because of the introduction of the council to Morgana’s government. King and Queen didn’t feel befitting anymore when there are others making decisions
Kardama was in fact a De La Dáinn, and was the one to start their reign over Morgana.
And of course, many years later, the De La Dáinn family’s massacre and Morgana’s takeover by the Lockwoods would happen.
A few decades after that, Pandora is born
Feel free to ask other kinds of questions such as:
- why are there multiple kingdoms within Morgana
- What happened between Morgana and Montez?
- How does Maveth feel about the kingdom of Morgana and his descendants?
Or make up ones on your own! :D

hindu mythology is confusing me now.
The first man, Swayambhuva Manu was a mind-born son of Lord Brahma. He married Shatarupa, a mind-born child of Brahma as well (technically sister, but they are not blood related, right?). They have 2 sons and 3 daughters.
The 3 daughters are Akuti, Devahuti and Prasuti in the order. So, Akuti is married off to Rishi Ruchi, another mind-born son of Brahma. Devahuti married Rishi Kardama while Prasuti got married Prajapati Daksha, the most popular mind-born son of Brahma.
The thing is Kardama is the son of Rishi Pulaha and guess who is his wife?? Her name is Kshama and she is the 14th DAUGHTER OF DAKSHA AND PRASUTI!!!-
So you are telling me that a younger sister was married off before her elder sister and that lady waited nearly 40 years to get married to her nephew???
btw kardama, son of pulaha and kardama, husband of devahuti are the same person, i checked through the official translations
