Welcome to Kanthony Prompts!
I’m lookingforthestars on AO3 and @lookingfts on Tumblr. Readers send me tons of great prompts, which I’m not always able to write. So I wanted to create this account to share prompts and promote writers!
When I post a prompt, you can participate in several ways.
Like and reblog to share to a wider audience.
Comment to share ideas or headcanons. They don’t have to go anywhere - this is just for fun, and it might spark someone else’s imagination.
Write a fic (of any length) based on the prompt and submit as a guest post to be shared on the account. To submit a post, click the three dots to the right of the follow and messaging buttons and click Submit. You can also post it to your own account and tag @kanthonyprompts to have it reblogged. Other creations, such as fanart or photo manips, will also be accepted!
Claim it. If you have a strong connection to a prompt and want to create a longer fic/multi-chapter based around it, let me know and I can mark the prompt as “taken.”
Have a prompt? Submit it as an ask, under your username or anonymously. It can be an idea, dialogue, a photo - anything.

"Honestly, Anthony; you look fine."
Breaking his gaze away from his reflection, Anthony turned to huff in response to look at his wife, lounging back on their bed while nursing a cup of chai.
"I look old, Kate," he countered, his voice tart. "I look like I read a newspaper at 8:00 in the morning while drinking my decaf coffee."
Kate smirked and tilted her head. "You do that already," she chuckled, her index finger lightly circling the rim of her cup. "You didn't need glasses to act like the old man you have always been."
Anthony shot her a playful glare. Cheeky minx.
Turning back to the mirror, Anthony couldn't contain his sigh of disappointment as he took in the black frames of his glasses again. Paired with the wrinkles that were permanently set into his forehead, he truly did look like the picture-perfect example of a white, middle-aged London businessman who had no life outside of work.
Still fixated on his new glasses, Anthony hardly noticed Kate place her cup onto the bedside table and swing her legs off their bed. Before he knew it, long arms had circled his waist as Kate pressed herself against his back, her chin resting on his shoulder.
"I, for one, think you look incredibly sexy," she murmured, her smile turning coy in the mirror. "There's a certain... intelligence, shall we say, that comes with them."
Anthony snorted at her attempts to placate him. "Are you saying I was not intelligent before I got glasses?" he asked, craning his neck just as Kate rolled her eyes and shook her head.
"Sometimes I wonder if you ever did have a brain," Kate grumbled and planted a kiss on his stubbled jaw. "What I'm saying, dearest husband, is that these glasses make you look like deliriously hot. Like, bend-me-over-your-desk hot."
Anthony felt Kate squeeze him in her arms while she peppered slow, gentle kisses along his jaw and down his neck, her fingers deftly beginning to untuck and unbutton his shirt as his breath hitched. Well, if he felt old before, now he felt desperately desired by his stunning, wonderful wife.
"My desk, you say?" he asked breathlessly. Kate nodded, her lips trailing up to his ear.
"Mmhm," she hummed, catching his earlobe between her teeth. "Put on a suit and you'd be the perfect CEO to punish me for coming into the office late. Or maybe you're my underling who needs to be taught a lesson on organisation."
Her lips curved into a wicked smile at her own suggestion. Spinning to face her, Anthony caught Kate in his own arms and, with a low growl, captured her mouth with his.
"Then what are we waiting for, darling?" he asked between heated kisses, his hands secure on her hips while he lead her towards to doorway. "I believe we need to go to your office and go over a few of the company rules with me."
=====
I seem to have had a vision for this and clearly it's roleplay Kanthony rearing their horny heads xD
Can one of the brilliant writers in the Kathony/Kanthony fandom write a short fic about Anthony having to wear glasses please?
Like he's annoyed cause he says he looks like an old, meanwhile Kate can't help but find Anthony even more sexy than ever wherever he has them on. Kate's having very naughty thoughts of him😲🤤
Inspired by Jonathan Bailey, as all his characters/protects (Fellow travellers, Jurassic World promo photo and the Armani eyewear advert) all have him wearing glasses🤓

Lol, au where all the Bridgerton siblings are normal people, vying for position of 'first person to besotte Kate'
Anon, I think anything where the Bridgertons are “normal people” is more ooc than AU 😭😭😭
But jokes aside, I would absolutely love to see a little drabble or something about all the Bridgertons fighting over who’s Kate’s favourite Bridgerton.
Anthony would insist that it’s him and Gregory would get offended and start arguing, only for Eloise to loudly declare that it’s definitely her and then Violet somehow gets involved, because Kate is literally her bff.
Kate puts an end to the whole thing by declaring that her favourite Bridgerton is the one who’s getting here in about 9 months and that’s Kate’s very unplanned but still very joyous pregnancy announcement.

rewatching the first couple episodes of season two of bridgerton and like…
okay at the races, lady danbury tells violet that anthony doesn’t believe in love. but BEFORE that, she tells violet of kate being an obstacle to anthony & edwina. now i need/want a fic where violet invites kate over for tea to try to win her over on anthony’s behalf.
bonus points if violet has anthony there too as a way to try to convince him to believe in love.
and then it backfires (but not really) because violet remembers that this young lady, who was curt at the conservatory ball and gave her a “charmed” short greeting when lady danbury tried to introduce them, is so similar to her eldest son. and the two of them argue/bicker in front of her.
and then chemistry and fireworks and she sees what’s brewing between kanthony before either of them accept it.
kanthony can’t stand each other and i want them forced into a tea time with violet early on pleaseeee

Bonus Polin Week, day 6: Double date
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Did I see the prompt and smirked? I absolutely did.
Thing is, Bridgerton wives need to stick together. It's hard work being worshipped like that. I can see Pen and Kate getting to know each other, talking about their shared experience and learning from each other.
In time, this could lead to a double date. Colin and Anthony would discover they are much more similar than they thought (especially when it comes to their spouses) and you know the Bridgerton, they are competitive.
I might imagine them get into a challenge of who compliments the respective wife the most, or something silly like that. Pen and Kate would shake their hands and secretly smile.
Or how about the time Kate gifted Pen the Kamasutra and Colin and Anthony enter in a weird challenge about what couple could do more positions?
And yes, they might have explored double sexy date too. Why not? Both couples are kinky enough in my book. And Kate and Pen are gorgeous enough that just the imagine of that leaves me breathless.
PS: To be clear, I love both couples so much, seeing ships wars about them make me want to do what I do best when I see ship wars... Just smash all together 😂, I did it with the vampire diaries, I did it with glee, I did it with doctor who... Ships wars are just nonsensical enough for me that awakes the need to do something just so controversial that both sides have to agree on one thing, and that's how hot and sexy they all are together 😂

I need a lovelight pumpkin patch story!! Pumpkin patch, corn maze or maybe just hay bales, piping hot cider. Sophie's apple cider donuts, along with other fall offerings! Romantic apple picking, maybe bobbing for apples? Although that's unsanitary. Whatever strikes your fancy!
You know what? Me too! All the fall feels! While I have a plan for a lovelights au fic that spans all seasons and will touch on the chaotic festivals that happen in Aubrey, here’s a small snippet of the annual corn maze race a year after that planned fic 😉
October 2024
Autumn in Aubrey was perhaps her favorite time of year.
“You say that about every season,” Sophie replied, smiling knowingly as she packed up some freshly made apple cider donuts into a box.
Kate sighed happily. Yeah, that was true.
It didn’t matter what time of year— she loved it here.
The back door of the bakehouse swung open then, revealing Anthony and Benedict holding two large coffee/tea dispensers.
“Ms. Agatha wants these back first thing,” Anthony told them as he and his brother placed the containers on the countertop, ready to be filled with Sophie homemade apple cider (a kid’s version and an adult version.) “And cleaned ‘properly.’”
From the way Anthony’s face was pinched, Kate knew the old woman hadn’t released her containers easily, even though she was joining them tonight.
Sophie must have known it too, by how she rolled her eyes. “Yeah, yeah.”
It had been two years since Ms. Agatha insulted Sophie for over-mixing her batter, and she had not let it go. A slow, low burning rivalry simmered between the two women and as much as Kate would love for them to reconcile, she could not help but enjoy the by-product of their feud—exceptionally delicious baked goods. Which she was enjoying more than ever, recently.
“Nearly ready?” Ben asked after they ladled the drinks into their containers (Ben probably pouring more liquor than he should in the adult container), and Sophie finished packing the last remaining tray of treats.
“Yep!” Sophie said brightly, gesturing to the eight boxes before her.
“God, Soph. How much did you make?”
Sophie swatted him in the stomach. “Do not judge! Do you know how big your family is? Plus Simon, Mary, Edwina, Ms. Agatha, Michael, John—”
“John isn’t here, he has a game.” Kate informed her, “But I think Eloise brought Penelope with her. And I will happily pick up the slack so there aren't too many leftovers.” She opened a box and pulled out a donut and bit into the sugary goodness and let out a little involuntarily moan. Sophie really was some sort of baking fairy.
“Should we leave you two alone?” Anthony quipped, then dodged Kate’s half-hearted swat in his direction.
“You’re just jealous,” she remarked back, and Anthony merely winked at her as he and Ben filled the drink containers.
“Enough, you two,” Ben interrupted, knowing how far they could take this if left unchecked. “Let’s get going. Everyone’s waiting for us.”
Sophie started to hand her boxes. “Kate, can you carry—?”
“Simon’s coming to help,” Anthony said abruptly, “He can carry them.”
Kate shot her husband a look, but luckily Ben and Sophie did not question him and went on to carry the stuff out of the bakehouse where Simon was approaching, ready to help. They all headed to the field where the rest of their family and friends were waiting. It was late October, and Halloween was approaching. That left only one Bridgerton Family tradition left to do for the fall season— the corn maze. Anthony had finished making it yesterday and everyone had gathered to try it out before they opened it to the public.
While for their guests on the farm, it was supposed to be a nice, leisurely activity, it was anything but this late afternoon. As most things with the Bridgertons, this was a competition. There were two objectives of the game— fastest time, and avoid getting shot by Anthony and his BB gun who acted as the “minotaur”. As the creator of the maze, it was unanimously decided he could not compete. It didn't b matter though. Anthony loved a chance to torment his siblings.
Last year, Colin got so lost in the maze it took him nearly three hours to compete. And by how pale Colin looked right now, maybe he was recalling that fact.
“Colin,” Kate sucked in a breath. “You look awful. Are you okay?”
Colin seemed to blanch, then smiled at her uneasily. “Peachy.”
Kate was about to ask him if he was sure, when Eloise said, “He’s sick.” Anthony discreetly pulled Kate away a few steps, putting some distance between her and his brother. “That’s what you get for doing the apple bobbing at the Fall Festival last week,” Eloise huffed, “In what world did you think that was a good idea? Think of all the germs.”
“The Collins kids went before you I think, and I think he had the flu,” Penelope hummed sympathetically.
Violet piped up then, grimacing. “He most certainly did. He was sick all over me on Tuesday.”
Colin made a little noise then, which Kate was nearly certain was a gag, as he slumped down on a picnic table bench, looking as if he really wanted to be in the fetal position.
“Maybe sit this one out, bud,” Ben said, patting him on the back, and Colin let out a noise in which Kate could only assume he agreed, seeing as standing posed difficulty at this moment.
“Here,” Anthony said, putting a piping cup of cider and a bottle of water in front of him. “Hydrate.”
“Thanks,” Colin half slurred, waving them off, “Go on without me.” He looked at Penelope. “Make sure you win, Pen. I got money on you.”
Penelope pinkened slightly, but nodded.
Kate left Penelope blushing, as Eloise— who was oblivious to her best friend's crush on her brother —started on a tangent about how she was going to win the maze and went to help set up the spread. In a slightly new part of the tradition of the corn maze day, Kate had added a little picnic/buffet situation to the day. Sophie brought the desserts, Violet brought some sort of crockpot/slow roast for sandwiches, Anthony made soup, and Mary brought her butternut squash raviolis and sage sauce.
Kate smiled to herself as she watched her step-mom happily chatting with Violet and Ms Agatha as they laughed over something or other. Mary had moved to Aubrey over the summer and it made her heart happy to have her so close now. Anthony wrapped an arm around her, giving her look as if to say he knew exactly what she was thinking. And he probably did.
“So,” Michael said, slinking up next to them with Edwina and Francesca in tow. “I’m being told that I might be shot at?”
“Yep!” Kate replied brightly, and Michael looked at her like she had gone insane. To be fair, he often gave her this look nowadays. He’s told her multiple times how she’s drank the cool aid on this town.
“Shoot at me Bridgerton and I will kick you in the balls,” Edwina told Anthony, and Anthony's expression tightened a fraction. He knew Edwina well enough that she was dead serious.
“You should probably start warming up,” Kate told him— who in turn looked baffled— then looked at Francesca. “Did you tell him about the hide and seek rules?” His eyes flicked to Michael and Edwina. “There’s no pushing allowed by the way. Instant disqualification.”
Michael shook his head. “The more I hear, the more troubling this becomes.”
“You should see them at Easter,” Kate shook her head. “That’s the real bloodbath. Pushing is allowed then.”
“But no gouging,” Fran helpfully added, obviously enjoying Michael’s despair over these weird family traditions and rules.
“What about shanking?” Michael joked.
Anthony hummed thoughtfully as his brows pulled together. “Not officially, but we should probably write that down. I wouldn’t put it past Eloise.”
“That reminds me,” Kate said, looking at Michael again, “Watch out for Hyacinth, she will go for your kneecaps.”
They all turned to look over at the teenage girl who was a few feet away. Hyacinth saw them and looked Michael dead in the eye, completely deadpan, and proceeded to give him the universal you’re dead gesture. Kate was pretty sure she heard Michael swear under his breath before Hyacinth broke out into giggles and skipped away.
Michael actually started to look nervous then, which was very unlike him. “I need a drink,” he stated, and stalked over to the cider stand.
“I’m gonna get set up,” Anthony said with a kiss to her temple. Kate waved him off, and Edwina and Frannie decided to help themselves to seconds. They asked Kate to come along with them but she waved them off.
She just wanted to stand there for a moment.
Kate took a long, deep breath, enjoying the crispness of the air as she looked around at the beauty around her. They had come to the golden hour, and on this perfect day the vibrant reds, yellows and oranges felt other worldly against the backdrop of the clear blue sky only topped by the breathtaking mouton peaks. The sound of laughter and chatter filled the air as her family and friends mingled and ate. Kate tried to savor the moments like these. It was so easy to walk through life blindly, not even seeing or enjoying moments like these. And she had done it for so many years. She wanted to relish every happy moment that came her way. She wanted to appreciate everything she had.
Kate watched as Daphne split from the group and started to walk her way, two cups in hand. She stopped when she reached Kate and extended a cup to her.
She looked at the cup. “Oh, um,” Kate hesitated, “Which—?”
Daphne laughed, and pushed the cup into her hand. “The normal one, of course. I wouldn’t give the spiked one to you in your condition.”
Kate’s head whipped up. “How did you—?”
Daphne gave her a bemused look. “Anthony isn’t exactly subtle. He hasn’t let you pick up a thing and constantly wants to sit down. Not to mention he walks around like he’s on cloud nine and you smile like you have a special secret. Plus you come to the store once a week to look at baby onesies. And, well…” Daphne laid a hand on her own stomach. “One knows the signs.”
Kate was sure she let out a little squeak when she caught her meaning. “Oh my God, Daphne!”
Daphne hushed her, looking around to see if anyone heard them, but was grinning from ear to ear when she looked back at Kate. “Yeah, we’re really happy. We’ll tell everyone at Thanksgiving.” Daphne looked over to where Simon and Amelia were. Amelia was currently trying to steal the donut Simon had in hand, and she had the cutest pout when Simon moved it away.
She couldn’t wait to watch Anthony be with their own little one.
“When are you telling everyone?” Daphne asked.
“Today,” she replied, “we wanted to wait to get everyone together and tell them in person.” It was hard to get everyone together, especially with Edwina, Michael and Frannie being in the city.
Daphne reached for her hand and gave it a squeeze. “I’m really happy for you both.”
“What are you happy about?” Anthony asked as he walked over to them.
Daphne didn’t say anything, instead smiled knowingly and gave her brother's arm a squeeze before heading back to join her own family.
“What was that about?” Anthony asked quietly, one brow raised as his arm circled her waist.
Kate smiled. “Daphne knows. Apparently we are not inconspicuous.”
Anthony chuckled softly. It was one of her favorite sounds. “Oops. Good thing the cat will be out of the bag by the end of the night.”
Kate leaned her head on his shoulder, smiling to herself. She couldn’t wait. She was fit to burst with this secret.
“I think it’s time,” Anthony murmured, giving her one last gentle squeeze before he stepped away and yelled out to ask if everyone was ready. Kate watched as he walked away, and the excited looks of everyone as they started to ready themselves.
Kate took another look as the sun started to set, the pumpkins they had carved and lit glowing steadily as Simon started to light the couple of fireplaces they had dragged over.
Kate smiled to herself and let out a happy sigh as she pulled her coat more closely around her.
Soon the brilliant colors would fade, leaving the muted browns and grays in their wake as the Earth died and the cold set in.
The nights would become long and the cold would bite, but Kate would barely feel. Not when she was surrounded by all this love.

The husband and I are watching beloved high school classic She’s All That. And I’m sure it’s because I’ve had Kanthony brain rot for 21 months, but that hacky sack performance art bit had me feeling some kind of way.
If someone was inspired to write a fic based on it - this beautiful 90s remake of Pygmalion - who would be the nerdy kid and who would be student body president? This could really go either way, but I think Kate as the popular one would be a fun reversal.

Kanthony Prompt #31
From @fitrahgolden:
Show Canon Divergence: Kate has her riding accident that first morning Anthony sees her in Hyde Park. Not knowing who she is, he takes her to Bridgerton House. It takes a few hours for Lady Danbury to catch wind of what happened and identify Kate, and by then Anthony refuses to let her be moved, so the Sharmas become guests of the Bridgertons for the season instead.

Can we get 1. “Come over here and make me.”, please?
based on this
I hope you like it! Sorry it took me a while!
Kate Sharma, his hot sexy breathtaking annoying neighbor, was a thief.
When she moved in next door to him months back, he didn't mind her too much. She kept to herself just like he did.
Sometimes they would see each other in the early hours of the morning, nodding to each other in greeting before taking off for their runs towards the opposite direction. Her dog was alright and didn’t make much noise. The guests she had over occasionally, her sister and mother, he assumed, never made too much noise either. All in all, Miss Sharma proved herself to be the perfect neighbor.
Until last month.
It was around that she became a menace. She started to become more and more friendly. Always coming by to give him some baked goods or some dinner, or would ask him for eggs or flour. It didn’t matter if somewhere deep inside him he loved the attention she gave him, basked in the warmth she shone on him. He would avoid her like he avoided everyone else in his life.
“You’re a shy little one arent you. I never see you out and about. What are you avoiding, Mr. Bridgerton?” She said one day when he refused another one of her dinner invitations.
“One day, I’ll get you to come over.” Miss Sharma quipped confidently.
Anthony just grumbled as he shoved a whole carton of eggs at her. Hopefully that would keep her away longer.
But she was persistent. If he never came around, she did every weekend. She came with cooked food or bought over ingredients, to cook food at his place, ordering him around to chop this and stir that until she eventually made herself a vital part of his life.
Until he kissed her.
He didn't know why he did it.
Wrong.
He did know. He wanted to kiss her since the first time he saw her early in the morning when she stepped out for a run. Her head tipped back to soak in the rays, and he saw someone who lived life, and he wanted to know what that felt like. He wanted to ‌taste life’s essence on her lips.
One night she was over at his palace teaching him how to make some pasta dish, and he was at his limit. Who knew food was so sexy? The way she kneaded the pasta dough, the muscles of her arms clenching and unclenching with every move, the way her eyes would roll back when she tasted the sauce, and then when she held out her finger for him to lick, her eyes tempting him like they always did? He was a saint for not ravishing her on the kitchen island.
But he controlled himself. Even when she moaned and awed at the food while eating with him. And he thought he controlled himself when he walked her back to her place.
But then she leaned in close to give him a hug, and the scent of her perfume invaded his senses. He lost it.
Pulling her close, he crashed his lips onto hers, devouring her as if he hadn't eaten just moments ago. Kate kissed back with equal fervor, wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling his head down, closer. Anthony pushed her against the door, trying to ground himself against her when her door swung open and they stumbled in, breaking Anthony from the spell Kate casted over him.
‘I- I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have–” he stuttered. He cant believe he mauled her like an animal.
“What? Anthony no come inside and we can ta–”
Anthony didn't let her finish and ran back to his home, the sound of him slamming his door surely echoing through out the whole neighborhood.
That was five weeks ago. He avoided her now. He no longer went on his morning runs lest he see her again, and he never answered the door anymore when she came knocking.
And then his clothes started to go missing. As usual, he hung them up to dry outside in his yard every Saturday morning and slowly but surely his clothes started to go missing.
Anthony didn’t go around accusing people of being thieves. He had his suspicions before, but now? Now he had proof.
There Kate lay, the bane of his existence, in her yard, under the light of the morning sun, wearing nothing but his favorite sweatshirt.
She looked as gorgeous as ever. Every time he laid eyes on her her beauty would hit him like a train, and after days on days of not seeing her he gazed at her like a starved man. How did he manage to ignore this goddess for the past month? No, he had to focus. She had his sweatshirt, his favorite sweatshirt, and he needed it back. Now.
Angry, he stalked up to his fence to confront her.
“Miss Sharma!!” He hissed out, "What the hell are you doing wearing my sweatshirt?"
She propped up on her elbows and lowered her sunglasses to look at him.
“Oh hullo Anthony. I see you’re still alive.” she quipped as she got up and walked over to where stood stood at the fence.
“That” he pointed, “Is my mine and I want it back. Now.”
“How can you prove its your shirt? How do you know its not mine?” Kate put her hands on her hip, causing his sweatshirt to ride up a little bit, exposing more of the delicious skin of her thigh.
“Because it’s my college sweatshirt and it has my name on the back so unless you’re changing your name to Bridgerton, it belongs to me.” Anthony hissed.
Kate edged closer. So close he could taste her minty breath and smell the lilies on her skin.
“Is that your way of asking me to marry you, Mr. Bridgerton?” Kate whispered, and his eyes fell closed as her whisper slid down his spine, settling in his soul.
“If you want it back, come over here and make me. My door’s always open for you.” Kate said as she walked away, her hips swaying enticingly.
He was stunned, his mouth hanging open in shock.

For the past month I have been practically inhaling kanthony fics, read tons of them.
AND I have a question
Is there a Bridgerton fic based on the plot of AUSTENLAND? With Anthony as an unwilling actor stepping in for some friend/brother, and Kate as an older sister being dragged into the crazy world of Austenland by Edwina who is obsessed with Austen's books🤔
If NOT can someone please make it happen
And if yes, please point me to it

okay but where’s a s2 au where kate DOES call anthony out and challenges him to a duel (obviously pre-engagement. maybe at aubrey hall?) for his actions and he doesn’t want to but she stands her ground and then they’re at the dueling field and anthony doesn’t want to shoot and actively refuses and kate’s just furious over everything and that’s her tipping point and she’s like “is it because i am a woman???” and she’s ready to rip him a new one and he just blurts out “it is because i care about you”
