was listening to andrew russell (boothill's va)'s stream with the other hsr vas for his boothill pulling party and his hype train sound was the old thomas and friends theme and pun absolutely intended this idea hit me like a freight train. so i stopped my diary writing and proceeded to make this monstrosity; you're welcome.

(side note: yes using gordon would've been more appropriate since a) it's called the astral EXPRESS and b) the express is pulled by what's seemingly a galactic tender engine but eh. he doesn't have as much meme potential/recognizability as thomas' face does so soz)

but if you're interested go check it out!!! i've been having brainworms about dante and the general lore and connections and familial/platonic relationships in the game just agh give me feelies but also cool weapons

also there's a whole ass timeline bc the story doesnt go chronologically in the order of the game releases - like dmc3 is technically chronologically the first in the series where it's the prequel to everything soooo if you do wanna get into it there's that to consider too
