Personality: Because of her upbringing as a pureblooded vampire, Zoya was brought up as an mature, refined young lady. However, due to her old-fashioned upbringing, Zoya has poor understanding on how to work modern technology. Mature for her age, Zoya often spoke like an adult and has great knowledge for all proper etiquette. Calm, cool, and collected, Zoya is more lady-like compared to Juliet, her older adoptive sister. After the massacre of her family and being forced to survive in the streets, Zoya grows extremely cynical and cold, especially to men after an incident with a drunkard that traumatized her; Even to a point where she develops a fear of being touched by others she is unfamiliar with. This aspect stays with her even after being adopted by Hisoka and Ruki and her new siblings. History:

Born under her true name of “Phoebe Neve”, Zoya lived in a mansion isolated from society in the Human world. Zoya was born as the Heiress of the Neve family, a family of pureblooded vampires rumored to be extinct centuries ago; However, despite not given parental love from her parents whom are always away, Zoya still respected them and did as she was told to do to meet their expectations as the Heiress as they are her parents and the only other people in her life other than the servants; This was her way of coping with her loneliness. One day, A group of hunters found the mansion and attacked everyone in it; Only Zoya was able to escape and survive under her parents instructions, which was the first and last time they gave her any kind of parental warmth; However, Zoya didn’t realize this as she believed it was only for them to succeed keeping the bloodline alive. For a while, she reached a town, where she lived in the streets for quite some time. From there, she has witnessed many things; Seeing married women throwing themselves at other men, men taking advantage of drunk women, Prostitutes working at night, etc; An incident that traumatized Zoya was a drunk man that mistaken her as a prostitute and tried to have his way with her by touching her, which resulted to her escaping barely; This incident resulted to her fear of being touched by strangers. Sometime later, Zoya was found by hunters and was rescued by Hisoka, whom brought her to her home after the vampire fainted. Meeting Ruki and Hisoka, they both gave Zoya a choice: Either to accept their protection and live with them with the condition they adopt her, or refuse their protection and they won’t stop her decision of leaving. Choosing to accept their protection, Zoya was given her new name by Hisoka, meaning “Life” in Russian. Despite being cynical initially even after being adopted, Zoya eventually warmed up to them afterwards; Eventually, She became close with her new siblings, especially Zion.

Trivia:

•  Due to her interactions while living on the streets, Zoya developed  Haphephobia (a fear of being touched); Zion has become the first person to be able to touch her after becoming close.

• Zoya’s first crush was Kanaye Sakamaki; This came to an end after she found out his relationship with Isabella Sakamaki, where Zoya struggles with her first heartbreak due to her lack of knowledge of affection, but was able to overcome it.

• Out of her siblings, Zoya is the most innocent in terms of sexual topics.

•Although Zoya has an interest in learning new things, She at times does feel embarrassed when she isn’t able to understand something simple to everyone.

•Because of the incident, Zoya never leaves the house without wearing black shorts underneath her clothes.

There  was  no  attempt  to  cover  up  face  of  surprise  when  he  initially  noticed  Dazai.  Of  course  his  crimes  were  cleaned  up  &  all  that  stuff,  but  that  didn’t  stop  him  from  following.  &  what  was  just  said  to  him  only  raised  another  red  flag.  Maybe  his  head  was  wrong  in  this  case,  but  he’ll  go  with  own  instinct  over  anyone’s  words.

Still,  a  bright  smile  once  again  appeared  on  his  face,  while  hand  stayed  on  a  gun.  He  wouldn’t  want  to-  no,  Kanaye  definitely  didn’t  mind  using  force  against  someone.  However  there  was  no  reason  here  for  now  that  wouldn’t  get  him  in  trouble  &  his  ability  wouldn’t  cover  it  up  this  time.

“  It  doesn’t  really  change?  If  someone’s  a  piece  of  shit  no  point  in  hiding  it,  might  as  well  say  it  in  their  face  if  the  occasion  asks for  it.  Friend,  enemy  or  random  stranger,  doesn’t  matter.  Well,  maybe  with  exception  of  higher-ups.  It’s  a  one  way  ticket  to  get  kicked  out  of  any  job,  after  all,  not  to  mention  I  work  directly  for  government  now,  so  that’s  double  the  trouble.  These  comments  I  usually  keep  to  myself,  though,  so  I  don’t  know  if  this  counts.  “

“  I  think  admitting  that  I  have  any  insecurities  would  shock  people  to  begin  with.  They’re  your  basic  insecurities  such  as  not  being  strong  enough  to  protect  those  who  work  for  me.  Most  of  them  are  quite  powerful,  however  they’ve  their  own  weaknesses  &  feels  me  with  dread  thought  of  any  of  them  put  in  situation  that’d  hurt  them  &  not  being  able  to  help  them.  I  might  be  the  most  powerful  in  the  office,  but  the  world  doesn’t  end  at  it.  I  need  to  be  always  prepared  for  stronger  foes.  “
