Some warm up drawings!

Of course, as soon as I'm allowed the time to draw - I instantly revoked Kamui's leg privileges.

I really don't know what compelled me to come up with this spontaneous headcanon, but I really like it and wanna keep it. Paired with his personality, story, and potential interactions with others, I thought it'd add an interesting dynamic with a character like him, dealing with a loss such as this. I haven't quite decided when he potentially lost his right leg- thinking due to the fact there'd probably be a moment where he got overly confident or a bit cocky, perhaps it was a loss during the time he was still being mentored by Housen. Or possibly some point after the final.

In the normal Gintama universe, he'd probably be using the same technology other Yato use for their prosthetics - such as Abuto and Umibozu, resembling and being able to function as a regular limb.

Though in the Ginpachi sensei universe, I figured he'd have a much more modern or realistic prosthetic. Along with a blade prosthetic (which I haven't drawn) for times when he's going to be more physically active.

But hey, I think it'd also give me a chance to draw some other scenarios. Though we shall see, as this was also just a warm-up drawing.

Allocer: Omnisexual. He’s also going to explain in detail about the differences between omni, poly, pan, and bi followed by a philosophical conversation about different types of attraction and gender expression vs gender identity.

Sabnock: AroAce or just- he’ll think about that after he’s the demon king! He’s focused on his goal rn

Agares: Gay mlm. Girls ask him out lot tho and he’s just annoyed “IM GAY”

Gaap: Pansexual. He’s wholesome and full of love for everyone. I’m totally being biased rn but almost every pan person I’ve met has been the living embodiment of sunshine and super friendly and just- gaap vibes

Jazz: Bisexual flirt. Sometimes unclear if he’s messing around or seriously flirting. Makes jokes about stealing hearts

Lead (Lied???): Bisexual gamer boyfriend

Caim: Straight Ally. Especially after training with Mr. Hat cause a true gentleman respect and supports queer rights. Also when he says he only likes women he means ALL women regardless of if she’s cis or trans

Purson: Queer. He hasn’t interacted with people enough to know exactly what he likes but he’s figuring it out! He has those “he’s so cool I wanna be like him” thought which in a few years at like 3am he’ll realize that that was a crush and thinking about every interaction he had

Elizabetta: Biromantic Demisexual. She’s spent so long thinking about the man she’s going to marry she never considered that women are an option too.

Kerori: Lesbian. She thinks girls are just so cute!!! Also *gestures to Gyari and akudol arc in general* She does think that male akudol’s are cool tho and knows when a guy is good looking but she not into them

GOLDEN KAMUY x MARIO KART 8 DELUXE

a silly little post about what racer they'd choose if they played mario kart 8 deluxe (+ some headcanons)

SUGIMOTO

he'd 100% choose baby luigi . he thinks luigi is MUCH cooler than mario and he chose him as a baby because he thinks he'll go faster if tiny. he also always chooses the jet bike as the vehicle (what can i say it just looks like it goes very fast)

SHIRAISHI

HE WOULD ABSOLUTELY CHOOSE ROY . i mean look at his sunglasses he's clearly the coolest. shiraishi always gets the WORST items and when he finally gets a mushroom he ends up crashing against a wall or falling off the map

ASIRPA

king boo . she LOVES choosing king boo and screaming BOOOOOO SUGIMOTO IM GONNA EAT YOU when she's behind him (she really does it with everyone but sugimoto is the one who gets scared the most because he genuinely thinks king boo can eat other racers). she just loves feeling like a menace and hitting other racers all the time

OGATA

WHAT CAN I SAY they have the same black void eyes and i think ogata relates to him in a very deep way. ogata SUCKS at drifting but he throws bananas, bombs and green shells like a pro (doesn't matter if the other racer is behind or ahead of him)

TANIGAKI

tanooki mario because inkarmat told him tanooki mario reminds her of him. he always ends up being the last one because he absolutely SUCKS at mario kart

INKARMAT

100000% CAT PEACH . she's matching with tanigaki. she always drives extremely well and therefore ends up being one of the last ones with tanigaki (but theyre in the bottom 3 together)

KOITO

BABY PEACH . he thinks peach is an absolute GIRLBOSS and like sugimoto he thinks she'll go faster as a baby. he can NEVER win against ogata because ogata somehow always has shells or bananas or bombs and throws most of them at koito no matter if he's behind or ahead of ogata

TSUKISHIMA

toad . he didn't really know who to choose but koito INSISTED toad reminded him of toad and he thought choosing toad would be better than choosing the random option. he does NOT know what he's doing and tries to avoid the item boxes because he thinks they're obstacles for some reason. he sometimes ends up going THE OPPOSITE way but still manages to be in 11th place (just because tanigaki is worse)

TSURUMI

this man has his own mii (i made a mii just for him btw) . hes the kinda guy that has studied every object in the game and know how they all work and how to use them to win ... not a menace because hes a violent racer but because he just knows how to play

USHIYAMA

HE'S DEFINITELY DAISY . my man ushiyama chooses the prettiest girl and THAT'S DAISY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i think he's a pretty average mario kart player but sometimes he stops the vehicle because he accidentally pushes the backwards button (his fingers are too big, he thinks someone threw him a mysterious item that somehow stops the vehicle and he doesn't even notice he's the one doing it)

HIJIKATA

he thinks THE GAME gave him the character and he can't change it (he seriously believes he's stuck with mario but no one tells him because they all think he chose mario himself). despite that he's surprisingly good, not because he's a good racer but because he always gets triple red shells and annoys everyone with them

NIKAIDOU

his brother played wario (he will bite ANYONE who tries to pick wario) . he screams WAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH in every jump or gliding part. he goes feral when he gets a superstar and starts hitting all the people he can

KIRORANKE

YOSHI !!!!!!!!!!! ironically he SUCKS at throwing bombs and ends up hitting himself with them (he HATES when they're playing battle mode and it's Bob-omb Blast time). he's VERY bad at first but gets better after playing a few times if you ignore him hitting himself with his own items

WILK

DRY BONES . hes a silly guy and picks the silliest guy !!!! a pretty average player methinks ... definitely laughs at every single person that gets hit with a shell but gets mad when hes the one that gets hit

Happy 7th Anniversary with HorkeuKamui

-Snow opened the limo door for you as he showed you the way into the exclusive Berserkers party currently being held as part of your anniversary celebrations. You thanked Snow as well as asking to pass it on to Claude, and he informed you that this was moreso a favor from a friend that Claude simply approved than from a direct order. This perplexed you since this was rather uncharacteristic of them. They explained that they’re more lenient when it comes to matters of the heart- especially ones involving one of their prized fighters. Snow assisted you out of the vehicle and from across the street you saw him standing there. Dressed and properly groomed in a tuxedo and blue tie combination, he stood there stiffly and with anticipation. Akin to a father walking his child down the aisle, Snow handed you off to Horkeu Kamui who locked arms with you. You felt your face heating up as being this close to him was not something you were anticipating today. Horkeu simply glanced down toward you and flashed a small smile. “Compose yourself. Otherwise you’ll have a bevy of guests teasing you.” You did your best to clear your throat and get your nerves in order as you stepped in tandem with the wolf therian to the inside of the Coliseum.

-Once inside you saw all the decorations and how the lounge was set up in the main lobby. You were awestruck at the party as all of the guildmates in attendance greeted you and wished you a happy anniversary. You returned the feelings in kind, of course. The entire night Horkeu has remained close to you, though stalwartly listening and attentive to your needs. If you were thirsty he’d fetch you some punch. Hungry? He’d offer up one of the plenty snacks on display. While you always appreciated his doting, you did get asked by others if he was being overbearing. You of course were quick to put their doubts to rest.

-Now alone taking a break at the party, you let out a sigh. “Is something wrong?” He asked you. You expressed that you were just feeling a bit worn out from everyone being chummy. You then asked if Horkeu was tired and feeling alright. “Of course. Though, admittedly I should… apologize. Even after all this time and I’m still just burdening you with concern.” You told him it was no sweat and you actually appreciated how loyal he’s been for all these years. He muttered your name before composing himself. “I am your attendant- …Partner. From now until the end of our days. That won’t ever change I’m sure.”

kamui really didn't want to end up in this situation, but now that you were leaning against him and deep asleep, he just couldn't pull away

he remained still, trying not to wake you, as he felt your warm body pressed against him

that alone was enough to fluster him a little, but when he turned to the side, it only got worse

seeing how peaceful you looked when you were sleeping brought a soft smile onto his lips, only for kamui to blush as soon as he realized how cute you looked

the entire time while you were asleep, kamui didn't move an inch, even when his legs started to fall asleep

though he never did, unable to fall asleep as he was internally panicking at how close you two were right now…

i think ogata enjoys classical music because it lets him just ,, not think.

he cries listening to it. not because hes listening to a sad piece but because it's one of the few times when he can just exist without having an insane amount of thoughts at the same time. he forgets everything. he forgets the guilt, the sadness, the anger, the jealousy, the emptiness in his heart.

sometimes he does have thoughts, but just one. he thinks about yuusaku. he wonders if he'd like it, if he'd feel the same way about it as he does. and even though he feels guilty about killing him, at that moment that doesnt cross his mind. he just thinks about yuusaku and what he'd say about some pieces.

he closes his eyes while listening to his favourite pieces. he feels like he has no body, that he's floating. he misses when he wasn't born yet. he misses the peacefulness.

he knows he can't go back, he knows that he's always going to have those thoughts. but for now, he forgets everything momentarily while listening to classical music.

btw these are the pieces that make me think of ogata the most

i actually thought about this because i like classical music and when i listen to it i feel like my brain is empty and i sometimes cry because it's so beatiful i get emotional

btw i cried writing this hehehe
