I think this one is one of my personal favorite gk fanarts I've done simply because I'm really happy with the color palette I picked on a whim. The first thought that came to mind was "mikan"... orange... and then the blue is... blue. They complement eachother. The background helped me express my feelings about a certain chapter in particular...

Anyway yeah I wasn’t expecting Capochin’ s storyline to tug at my heartstrings so much but hoo boy howdy. I finished GGG recently and have been gripped with the desire to Draw So Much for it.

hey guys, gonna be vulnerable for a second.

on the 16th, i was in a rough accident with my partner where we t-boned a truck. this resulted in my partner sustaining multiple injuries(broken ankle/back), myself sustaining injuries(causing me to miss days of work and school) and my car being totaled. my partner was in the hospital for a week and is in a rehab facility right now. soon, my partner will be moving in with my family, due to my partner being unhoused and needing a more stable place to stay while it is healing. my belongings that were in my car were thrown away before i could retrieve them, resulting in about 300$ worth of loss.

funds for my gfm go to replacing my lost items, gas money for the trip to visit my partner in rehab and putting in money for a new car, as well as moving my partner into my place.

Currently drawing a wip that came to me in a graphic, gutwrenching vision... oh... that's gore of my comfort character... Let me share my Kouhei thoughts for a little here.

I'm still reading the manga, but over my course of watching the anime, I grew really attached to Kouhei Nikaidou. It started paining me to see him continue on the way he has been. He just doesn't get a break. I don't expect him to ever win in the end because he's up against Sugimoto, but like... it's making me wish they would have killed him already, ykwim? It's that sad for me. I LOVE seeing him, I really do. I'm grateful for any Kouhei screentime I get but... BIG sigh... When I read the part in the manga where he was w Ogata in the beginning after Youhei's death and he said he just wanted to go home, it made me genuinely emotional knowing what he goes through and CONTINUES to endure later in the series. They'll cut him down until there's nothing left of him, and he'll still be fighting for that empty promise of being able to avenge not only Youhei, but himself. He's lost so much. He's becoming nothing more than a living, breathing grudge. If he DOES end up dying later, please let it be to Sugimoto's hand and no one else's, so that at least he could tell Youhei he tried again and again and failed. At least he tried.
