What I was able to put together for just under $80 (vests are EXPENSIVE, btw)

I'm going to go to Galaxy's Edge in a couple weeks for the first time and I'm putting together a Batuu Bounding outfit and reading up on the vocabulary/turns of phrase cast members use and the whole time thinking to myself This is great. I’m going to get a good grade in Star Wars, something that is both normal to want and possible to achieve.

Went to my first ever Pride today.

I went in with zero expectations, and I came out with two observations.

1) A LOT of booths based around health services, HIV/AIDS, Prep, etc. Which absolutely tracks.

2) A LOT of corporations that slapped pride flags on chotskies to try and get you to offer up all your personal information to them. I had someone shove a contest entry form into my hand and when I read the fine print, it said signing would grant them consent to check my credit score of all things. Another booth wanted me to sign up for their mailing list, I entered fake info across the board.

I got a nice manicure set from AARP, though. I also bought a t-shirt.
