Kamen Rider Dragon Knight: Next Generation (AAE Zone Rangerverse Sequel Series)

Rider Profiles (Unmorphed Selves Seen)

Kit Taylor, Kamen Rider Dragon Knight The leader of this new group, he was 18 years old in the original series, but thanks to a mysterious de-aging wave that affected his home city, he is now 15 years old (along with the other main Riders) and has to go back to high school. However, the other main Rider, Len Aoshi (next profile), starts helping him more often in both normal and battle situations, no matter how difficult they are. He also starts falling in love with Maya, his now-girlfriend (also from the original series; see her profile later).

Len Aoshi, Kamen Rider Wing Knight The second-in-command (Alt. Leader) of this new group, he was 21 years old (assumingly) in the original series and is now 18 in this series. Before the series began, in a prequel episode (Episode 0), he gets adopted by the Aoshi family, who are Japanese-American. And despite being from Ventara, he goes to Kit's high school and gets along with him well, even assisting him in any type of situation, whether normal or in-battle.

Richie Preston, Kamen Rider Incisor He is one of the many Riders that originally worked for Xaviax in the original series, but in this series, after getting de-aged to 16 years old, he gets his Advent Deck & Power Belt back from his Ventaran counterpart Ian, and completely switches sides from being evil to being good, along with the other Riders that also got theirs back as well. He also starts motocross for fun, knowing he'll like it.

Drew Lansing, Kamen Rider Torque He is one of the many Riders that originally worked for Xaviax in the original series, but in this series, after getting de-aged to 17 years old, he gets his Advent Deck & Power Belt back from his Ventaran counterpart Chance, and completely switches sides from being evil to being good, along with the other Riders that also got theirs back as well. He also starts writing his own stories, knowing anyone who reads them will like them.

James "JTC" Trademore, Kamen Rider Strike He is one of the many Riders that originally worked for Xaviax in the original series, but in this series, after getting de-aged to 16 years old, he gets his Advent Deck & Power Belt back from his Ventaran counterpart Pryce, and completely switches sides from being evil to being good, along with the other Riders that also got theirs back as well. However, he goes through a major redemption arc in this series, as he was the Rider that did the most evil deeds when working for Xaviax. Also, Cerebeast, the Fused Advent Beast that he created from 3 of the other Riders' Advent Beasts, is used for good in certain episodes when needed, and not for evil like it used to.

Brad Barrett, Kamen Rider Thrust He is one of the many Riders that originally worked for Xaviax in the original series, but in this series, after getting de-aged to 16 years old, he gets his Advent Deck & Power Belt back from his Ventaran counterpart Cameron, and completely switches sides from being evil to being good, along with the other Riders that also got theirs back as well. He doesn't talk that much, but mainly does when he has to henshin/morph after a monster appears.

Chris Ramirez, Kamen Rider Sting He is one of the many Riders that originally worked for Xaviax in the original series, but in this series, after getting de-aged to 17 years old, he gets his Advent Deck & Power Belt back from his Ventaran counterpart Quinn, and completely switches sides from being evil to being good, along with the other Riders that also got theirs back as well. He starts helping others out when they need it as well.

Jay Adrianos, Kamen Rider Camo He is a completely new and exclusive character to this series, as he replaced Grant Staley (the original Camo), who had left the main city to go on his (Grant's) own journey by himself. Jay, who is 16 years old, accepted the Advent Deck & Power Belt from Grant's Ventaran counterpart Van, and he became the new Camo, but because he is new, he wasn't affected by the de-aging wave. He likes skateboarding and rollerblading, mainly when he's with his friends (the other Riders).

Danny Cho, Kamen Rider Axe He is one of the many Riders that originally worked for Xaviax in the original series, but in this series, after getting de-aged to 17 years old, he gets his Advent Deck & Power Belt back from his Ventaran counterpart Hunt, and completely switches sides from being evil to being good, along with the other Riders that also got theirs back as well. He gets along with his brother Albert (see next profile) in a better way than they did originally.

Albert Cho, Kamen Rider Spear He is one of the many Riders that originally worked for Xaviax in the original series, but in this series, after getting de-aged to 16 years old, he gets his Advent Deck & Power Belt back from his Ventaran counterpart Chase, and completely switches sides from being evil to being good, along with the other Riders that also got theirs back as well. He always wears a black beanie hat on his head, because he thinks it looks cool on him.

Vic Frasier, Kamen Rider Wrath In the original series, he got in an accident that made him comatose, but Xaviax (the original main bad guy [MBG]) took over his body and used him like that, including his times fighting as Kamen Rider Wrath, until he (Vic) was vented into the Advent Void while Xaviax was still active. After the series ended, Vic was taken out of the Advent Void (along with the other vented Riders), but he was still comatose, and he was then sent to a hospital where a worker named Kalina Yarann helped him recover, eventually setting himself free from being comatose. He also had huge amounts of negative cells (XV-013, as Kalina called them) in his body, so they had to be removed via an antidote chemical containing recovery cells (AE-015, by Kalina) by submerging him into a healing tank. After the healing tank process was over, Vic was now 100% in control of his body, and no evil entity could take over it again. However, after getting de-aged to 18 years old, he gets his Advent Deck & Power Belt back from his Ventaran counterpart Nolan, and would fight as Kamen Rider Wrath for real this time. (Also, Kalina would become the Riders' main adviser for the entire series.)

Maya Young, Kamen Rider Siren The only female Rider of the group. Before being de-aged, in Episode 0, Kase would appear and give Maya her Advent Deck & Power Belt, saying that she would be going on a new journey to explore other planets and retire from being a Rider as well. Maya accepted being a Rider again, and for more time than in the original series. But she did get affected by the de-aging wave, making her 15 years old. She would go to Kit's high school and start dating him for real. She also would hang out with Kit and Len more often, including working a bit with Kalina Yarann, the adviser.

Adam Seithliar, Kamen Rider Onyx Kit's Ventaran counterpart, who also got affected by the de-aging wave, making him 15 years old (same as Kit & Maya). However, he wouldn't start battling with the other Riders until Episode 41. He became the new Kamen Rider Onyx after the original powers for it (used by Kit in the original series) got passed on to him for this series. Unlike originally, he fights alongside Kit, but he still fights with Len as well.

Kalina Yarann, the Riders' Adviser She originally worked at the hospital in which she would help Vic recover and become a new guy again. However, once she became the Riders' new adviser, her twin sister Marina Yarann filled in for her at the hospital while she (Kalina) would set up a new lab where the Riders would hang out and even know when a new monster would attack next.

Apparently Kamen Rider Wing is not taken, unlike Kamen Rider Knight

Kinda want it to fit with Sora's naming theme, though...one thing that's always bugged me a bit about Kamen Rider is how in a lot of them the names of the individual riders don't fit a theme

In some cases I get it, like how in Zero-One the different Riders are tied to different corporations

Hell in Build I don't know if they ever explain why the fuck Sento named Banjou Cross-Z

Where was I? Oh yeah, Tsubasa's rider name

Or Ageha's, if I go that route

I can't use W because that's the name of an existing season

Current thoughts on Kamen Rider Ryuki as someone who has seen two whole episodes and has vague memories of watching Dragon Knight on Saturday mornings in 2009:

Shinji is a loser and I love him. I hope at least half of the other Kamen Riders are as dorky as him and Yusuke from Kuuga are.

I can adjust to calling him Kamen Rider Ryuki instead of Dragon Knight, but I feel like I'm gonna keep saying Kamen Rider Wing Knight instead of just Kamen Rider Knight.

They make an RPG Maker noise when they travel through mirrors. I love playing spot the sound effect.

"Alive A life" is fine but I wish the opening theme was "Dive Into the Mirror". I'm sorry if this is fandom heresy.

I totally forgot that Ryuki's suit wasn't red right off the bat. That feels weird.

I love TV budget CG effects from the '90s and early '00s so much you have no idea.

So far I'm having a blast. Might give updates as I get farther into it.
