it’s raining in new york, fully putting a damper (pun intended) on the day you and kalynn had planned with weston and aisha. the four of you were going to go out on a double date of sorts, but with the rain showing no signs of stopping, you and kalynn decided you’ll just have a nice day in.

neither of you have moved to get out of bed, wrapped up in each other’s arms under kalynn’s soft comforter. your head is resting upon kalynn’s chest, her steady heartbeat thrumming against your ear, her arm wrapped around your shoulders as she holds you close. her other hand moves your hair out of your face, petting the top of your head gently.

you close your eyes, taking a deep breath, breathing in the warm floral smell of kalynn’s perfume that lingers on her skin. kalynn places a soft kiss on your forehead, and you look up at her, smiling.

“i love days like this,” kalynn murmurs, and you give her a soft smile, “wish we could spend all day in bed more often.”

“it’s nice, huh?” you agree, and kalynn leans down a little to place a soft kiss to your lips. as you kiss her back, she turns over onto her side, slotting her leg between yours, the other coming to rest up on your hip. she slips an arm under your head, wrapping it around your shoulder to pull you closer to her, cupping your cheek with her other hand.

as kalynn deepens the kiss, her lips and tongue moving with yours languidly, unhurriedly, just savoring you, you run your hand up her thigh, gripping the soft skin beneath the hem of her shorts. she sighs into your mouth, the hand on your cheek moving to the back of your neck, her fingers threading into your hair.

when kalynn pulls away from you, she puts her forehead against yours, a shy smile on her face. “i love you,” she whispers, kissing your nose, “always and forever.”
