The Balloon

THE HEAT

It was the hottest day of the year.St.Antony's church in Kallidaikurichi was much worse without any trees nearby.it looked like an abandoned cottage in middle of a desert. when the church was filled with air conditioners.people were given cool drinks to be saved them from the heat.

flowers in the arch were beginning to get dry.the balloons scattered all over the floor for decoration begins to burst one by one from heat,making the guest laugh.

the guest in the church was filled with big shots all over the town.some are friends,mostly enemies to each other.

the one reason they all assembled today was,the wedding day of chistopher and amudha.

CHRISTOPHER AND ALLIANCE

christopher who came to this town when he was 23 years old in a boat full of refugees.he did all kinds of work to survive.

on one occasion he shot a ganster in a market,who abused a small girl.but none of the people came forward to testify against him.

so he starts to grow with the power of the people.there were already big shots who had control over the area.

Navas-east side-who takes care of harbour,illegal transport of goods,gold.

vishwan-west side-who takes care of road and train.drugs,children,young girls.

siddiq-north-flight-illegal weapons,drugs.

murugan-south-political murders,kidnapping,money laundering,honour killing,assasination.

but they all had an agreement they have to stay out in each others bussiness.

when christopher came in.he was at the center of all.his people,the people that supported him,was the one who would go to work on all the sides,south to north,east to west.

christopher made peace with everyone and starts doing bussiness with everyone when each of them cant.he does killing,smuggling,transporting to all other people.

he also took good care of the people from his town,made them study,gave them jobs.

AMUDHA

when she was 7,her parents died in bomb blast in coimbatore. she was taken to stay at her grandmothers.when she was 22,on her grandmother's death she was taken into prostitution by some unknown people.she tried escaping but she made her choice.

on a visit,christopher falls for amudha.she aviods him it was lust.but he proves his love by taking her out by showing her what real life is.

on her request he saves other teen girls from the prostitution by sending them home.

she felt people's touch as bussiness.but his touch made her to feel love.

then she fell for him to get married.

THE DOUBT FIRE

when everyone assembled at the wedding each person made their safety in their own way.10 YEARS he was each others best man.

they had each others team outside with weapons.no weapons allowed inside requested from christopher.inside they all made a small talk.made fun.drank.danced..they also made business talk.

when they became friends,a message starts to spread among each gang that someone is plotting against them.each gang seperated in its own way doubting the other three..starts watching everyone in doubt.

the doubt starts to spread like wildfire buring their friendship.

the hall was filled with each others family.when bride and groom walks in to the altar.every gang gets up.

each gang starts to check on each others back looking for any threat.message to outide spreads.they were also ready with weapons.

when father exchanged his words,couple exchanges their ring with a kiss,everyone claps their hand when they are announced as married.

THE HEAT AGAIN

then a big cake is bought in.cake is cut.everyone is distributed with a piece.

to everyone's suprise the family and other guest takes out a gun from hiding and points at the gang.

now everyone in the hall turns to the altar seeing christopher and amudha with a gun.surrounding them are the cops.

christopher tells them they are gift to the wedding.he and amudha were undercover cop from beginning and planning to eradicate each and everyone from the syndicate without a trace.this was alla BIG LONG PLAY.

To a supsrise,each gang took out their guns against each other and at cops.

there were silence in the hall.no one even moved a muscle ot twitched.only their eyes moved all over.

when a balloon burst from heat.there were gunshots all over the church with blood splashing,people falling,over the altar,over statues.over jesus.

people from outside shot at each other on hearing the gunshots from inside.

after the rain of bullets there is no one left alive.

a balloon with blood flies over all the dead bodies on the floor,blood over the wall,to the outside,crossing the bodies and blood again.

flies...flies in air...bursts in heat.
