BTW, I was on #kababayanLA today! I was part of the segment for 115th Anniversary of Philippine Independence Celebration held in LA's Historic Filipinotown last weekend! I was very scruffy, hair uncombed, bags under my eyes and awkwardly wore a sweater in the middle of June. But hey, why not?😅 &&S/O to #APIOPA & #SIPA! June 12, 2013, Independence Day bike ride accompanied by kids who also placed flags on their bikes. 

I felt hope for these few young boys who seem to not lost sight of their sense as being Filipino. 

I had remembered my childhood independence day celebration filled with small flags mounted on their vehicle. These kids are counted as few.

My indie day made extra special.
