14/15 Jan 2020 -> Prabalgadh & Kalavantin Trekking with @mountainrangers2019 The service and assistance provided by MOUNTAIN RANGERS was nothing short of magical. It enabled us to relax and enjoy every aspect of our trek knowing that all the worrying had been done in advance. Traveling with you has decisive advantages. I enjoy the company and friendship of…your leaders/guides. Everywhere I’ve gone with you, it’s obvious that you’ve been there. You connect us with places…way above the ordinary... . . . . . #kalavantindurg #kalavantin #kalavantindurgtrek #kalavantintrek #kalavantinfort #trekkingday #trekkingindianmountains #trekkinglovers #trekkingcouple #india #indianlove #loveforindia #maharashtra #panvel #prabalmachi #thakurwadi_village #summit #coupleontrekking #nikunjjaviya #youtube #youtubevlogger #youtubegujarat #surat #youtubetravel #youtubeindia #youtubevlog #youtubemilestone #youtubecouples #mountainrangers #nikunjjaviya (at Kalavantin Durg-Prabalgadh Trek) https://www.instagram.com/p/B7aNmBtAu2q/?igshid=9bl9374th3hp

Surreal: I have always been fascinated with the idea behind this form of editing and I have found numerous explanations behind the motivation and meaning, ranging from a way of portraying perspective & empathy, to plain surrealism. But what I have always felt, and echoed with those who feel the same, is that this presentation is a way of stepping back and looking at things that have made you happy and we're big dor you, in becoming; those that you somehow lost to time, along the way. With this particular image, I imagine it leading the path down memory lane, inviting to recapture what you have obliviously let loose and have lost. Ergo, the monochromatism of flashbacks. This was shot at कलावंती दुर्ग, around a 120 kilometers North-West of Pune. I will share actual images from this location, and the story shortly but this picture has inspired me to try something I have never tried with editing before. #KalavantinFort (also known as #KalavatiFort or #KalavantinichaSulka) is a 685m high pinnacle on the northern edge of the Prabal plateau. It is located near the Machi and near the #VajepurVillage in #Maharashtra. This amazing fort surely looks like a great place to plan a visit. https://www.instagram.com/p/B1GJ4JMB4T7/?igshid=1iv0f1m3hk7pj

A trek to #KalavantinFort is famed as the ‘Climb to Heaven’, owing to its dangerous nature and the bird’s eye view of the immense beauty that await atop. It's surely not meant for the faint hearted. In the Western Ghats near Mumbai, at a hefty altitude of 701 metres (2,300 feet) above sea level lies the world’s most dangerous fortress: Kalavantin Durg, which (according to legend) was constructed in honour of a Queen Kalavantin. Offering gorgeous views and abundant beauty – via rugged terrain with narrow rock-cut steps, steep slopes and no support whatsoever – the trek to and from the fortress is dangerous yet thrilling. https://www.instagram.com/p/BzuCrkbBJoa/?igshid=153ed414uefw8
