DWC - Nov '24 - Day 2 - Eternal
The night brought peace to Kala. Her family no longer threatened her privacy. Runes kept her home safe from them, something she should have done years ago. Walking through her garden, Kala smiles when flora scents come to her senses. There was a special place here, one she shared only with her late grandmother.
Though now departed, Kala always felt her spirit was still here. This garden had been her pride and joy, her passion in life. A passion she passed on to Kala. Here the Starlight Rose grew in abundance.
Their everlasting beauty amazes Kala. The flower's petals twinkle like stars at night, and if not handled carefully, it dissipates into dust. It has always been thought that the Starlight Rose represents the eternal cycle of life. Never ending, always existing.
It's dust is used in many potions, including creams and oils. Depending on what one uses it's mixture with, like the combination with both Dreamleaf and Aethril, puts a person in an elevated state of focus.
Kala glances over the garden one last time, before returning to her library. After returning home a few days ago, the first day had been spent helping Letitia settle in. The earthen woman took a quick liking to Suramar. After all this was the first time she had stepped foot outside of Dornogal, from the Isle of Drom.
Leti was eager to learn, just as Kala had been when she first stepped upon the land of Dorm. The two spent hours in the garden learning about the flora that Kala grew. And it included flora from all across Azeroth. Kala was also learning more from Leti's knowledge of the herbs and flora that grew in her own homelands.
Kala curls up in her chair by the fireplace, a new book resting on her lap. With a cup of Suramar Spiced tea next to her, she settled in for another night of reading.

Note
Word on the street is, he's been talking to Kalanssra. What do you think of her?
"She seems lovely and kind, definitely has been a bit sheltered in her lengthy life which kind of comes as a surprise. I admit I don't know her very well, but it's always good to have someone to discuss flora and their properties with outside of my normal circle. It's important to make connections among those in the business so we can easily ship out local herbs to each other and share knowledge."
