Just finished watching the daily life premiere on YT, and I must say something I’ve been saying for years on end now.

Chapter 1 light spoilers and victim/killer mentions for DRDT Chapter 2 if you haven’t seen it!!

I know who the victim is, obviously, and to avoid major spoilers I won’t say anything much more than I genuinely believe that the Eden’s Garden team will be able to work around this.

I’m already seeing people saying “oh what a waste of good character potential.. yada yada” but the truth is, not every character is going to be fleshed out like you want them to be, hell when the BDA showed who the victim was I was upset too, not because I liked them but I was interested to see what’d happen with their character. (I had a love leaning to hate relationship with them actually, because I’m just like Damon and he’s just like me😭)

But you gotta be realistic, they’re many approaches you can take to expand on characters even beyond their deaths. This happens in popular media all the time, why do y’all act like the authors spat in your faces every time it happens? You’ll be finee guys, besides. We still have the motive secret to figure out, I’m sure it’ll come to light soon enough.

Honestly this reminds of DRDT C2 ALLLL over again. Obviously their character can still be fleshed out even after their death, just like I’m sure Ace’s and AREI’S (very heavy on Arei) will be as well. Honestly all DR fans do is complain and I can’t stand it.. truly.

This is just a pre-3am rant and I’m not really sure if I’m even making the slightest bit of sense right now but I’m excited to see how the investigation & trial part of C1 play out and how it’ll affect the psyche of the remaining contestants so far.. I have a main prediction on who the culprit is but I will be off X & Tumblr until I watch the rest of the chapter. Bye!

   He’d still been sitting, readying himself to get up in just a second after announcing he had to go-- he had to study and get himself ready for classes the next day.  But then-- Taira blinks, almost surprised by her honesty. Not that she wasn’t honest-- just that, she was normally pretty quiet, and didn’t tend to ask such things easily. Not that he minded. Straightforwardness was most often necessary with the young man, and most effective when asking something of him. He was glad she spoke her mind!      “Ah-- not a problem..!” Kaito gives a small upturn of his lips and nods, relaxing himself once more. He wouldn’t be leaving then-- and so, he flops back on to his back on the floor where he had been sitting, and rests his hands on the back of his head. Amber eyes flicker up and over to where Anemone had been sitting.     “Well, if we’re gonna hang out...” it comes out as a contemplative hum, and then-- he grins and gives her a thumbs up. “We should study together! We have a couple tests coming up soon, and studying with someone else makes it easier...”

And not the entire group, but specifically Jaime Castillo. It’s crazy to think that a celebrity can literally show up to the event for all of fifteen minutes, and still end up being one of the most talked about stars the next day. After being late after getting lost in traffic, and he disappeared from the event only to have photos of him with a random female we are unfamiliar with surface hours later. But wait, wasn’t he dating Ethereal’s Imani Coleman? I guess not anymore.

It’s been a week of firsts for Rick Rojas. From announcing his first album to announcing the first single off of that album to starring in his first film, Rojas has been busy reminding the general public that he exists. Is it a surprise to any of us that he’ll be playing the baddie boxer in ‘Southpaw’? Rojas has a bit of an image problem which completely contrasts with the two girls he was seen with at last week’s gala. He arrived to and left the event with long-term friend and pop princess, Lily Caine, and was spotted making lighthearted banter with queen of soul, Imelda De La Cruz, in between. Could this also be the month of his first industry relationship? And, on that note, is polygamy an option?

It seems as though we haven’t stopped hearing stories about America’s favorite girl group, Ethereal, in one way or another for the last two weeks. And what more---it wasn’t because of announcements for new music or new projects, but because of drama. From rumors that Liana Bexley has been working on a solo project, to the notable absence of Imani Coleman at her close friends’ charity gala (the reason behind which is rumored to be none other than Insomnia member and paramour Jaime Castillo), the constant turmoil has had Ethereal fans biting their fingernails. Not to mention that unfortunate incident where Killian Law ( @killianlaw​ ) accidentally outed Karima Nazari and Jaslene Wilcox’s long term relationship---we’re still not sure how that happened. Could this just be that Ethereal is having a rough time handling the media after a rapid rise to stardom and needs a new PR manager? Or could this mean that Ethereal might want to change their name to Ephemeral, because it looks like they might not be around for much longer?

   She was always so kind.  She was always so readily willing to offer help, or gentleness to those who needed it. It was just in her nature; he knew but... He admired her so much for it. Especially because he knew it didn’t always come easily; a language barrier here, anxiety there...    There was a lot on his mind; his plate was full.  He didn’t wanna dwell on it, and didn’t want to burden others... so he’d kept it to himself. Until he couldn’t... and like the selfless, idiotic fool he was, he’d let it all build up until he was here-- almost in tears with the stress of it all; his best friend holding his ugly clawed hand as if it were nothing.

    Taira swallows dryly. He almost didn’t want to talk, for fear that he wouldn’t be able to hold the knot in his throat back anymore if he did.  

   It comes out like a dam breaking; a wave of relief and bittersweetness crashing out of his chest in a bout of gentle laughter. Brows knit together in a pained expression, but he smiles widely; his amber eyes filling with tears.   I love you   almost comes out of his mouth, and it surprises him, how eagerly it wanted to force itself out-- as if it had a will of it’s own.  But he pays it no mind, and instead he gives his friend a little squeeze of her hand, his eyes squeezing shut in a wide smile. He’s crying, now. “Hell yeah, we will..!” a big nod; his hair falls into his face. “..Thank you... Anemone-chan.”
