[Wraith slips down the hall and away from her office. The cold ache that’s settled in her bones just pushes her to go faster. To get away from the chase.]

[She slips into the ceiling, clambering over pipes and jumping over weak spots. The only other person who does this regularly isn’t here to find her. She’ll be alone, safe for a bit.]

[There’s a spot, nestled between all the pipes, that she knows will be warm at this time of day. She can rest there for a minute before the chase starts again.]

[Wraith settles in the nook and waits. She doesn’t try to sleep—she needs to run but the snow slows her down and saps her strength—She doesn’t want the pipes to end up with scratches like her box.]

[Sleep comes anyways.]

[█████—No. ██████? No that’s not what they call her anymore. Wraith. Wraith is back. She is running. Alone, she is running alone. Always alone—she was not alone? There is a hunt but it is not for her. Where is Kai? She calls for him but no words leave her mouth. There is blood on the snow.]

[A horrible certainty fills her. She is late. She is always too late. ██████—Wraith’s feet and hands fly over the snow as she runs towards the—two flickers of fading warmth—single spot of warmth. Blood. There is so much blood, staining the snow red. She drops to her knees, she’s too numb to feel the cold anyways. Wraith pushes her hands against Kai and he gasps in pain. Where is the blood coming from? How does she fix this?]

“██████…” [Kai rasps,] “Tell Shadow i’m sorry…”

[She presses down harder as blood spills out as if her hands weren’t there. Kai doesn’t even twitch in pain. She failed-]

[-Wraith jolts awake, breathing hard. There’s blood on her hands—where is Kai—she failed.]

*It's been a while since Typhoon has seen anyone else beside his handler, nausea soon taking a hold of him upon remembering what happened.

*Whatever he was given by that sickle was far from pleasant, but a part of him knows leaving it where others can take it is a bad idea. So, he locks it in his backpack, face slowly grimacing when he saw his notebook. Several tasks he can't do at the moment due to worrying for someone.

*He should go see her. He takes the sickle with him and put it in his sling bag before looking for a certain agent whose name starts with W.

[Wraith certainly isn’t making finding her easy. Her box is empty, only messed up blankets and claws marks on the cardboard to tell she was there. The next place he looks Typhoon only finds a hastily abandoned sketch book and pencils. And it goes on and on, Typhoon only finding signs Wraith was there.]
