Cute springtime pattern for this antique kimono depicting young chicks, just freed from their bamboo basket, frolicking under falling cherry blossoms petals.

Fantastic antique summer kimono depicting an ukai (cormorant fishing) seasonal scenery: a regal u (cormorant) is wing-drying upon jakago (gabion, with stones patterned with hagi/bushclover, kikyo/Chinese bellflower and nadeshiko/pinks). Above, yanagi (willow) gently flows over what looks like ukago (woven basket used for cormorant fishing) scattered in the river.
Summer is when ayu (sweetfish) season open for traditional cormorant fishing. As OP notes, an obi with this fish would the perfect match!
