I know this literally doesn't make any sense but hear me out.... you've heard of kagetsukihina now get ready for kagetsukioihina (post timeskip). I can't even explain why I like the idea so much but I had this dream the other day and now I can't get it out of my head.

Tsukioi's already a rarepair but god just think... they'd be so neat. I need to dissect their characters, put them in a room together and take notes on how they interact. Tsukioi dynamic would genuinely be like unstoppable object vs immovable force, pair that with Kageyama/Hinata's personalities? Now you've got a party.

They all pretty much know each other too so AUUGHHH I don't know I barely have any super coherent thoughts or ideas right now I just know I needed to put this somewhere before I exploded. It'd be so chaotic.

Picture: Oikage struggling to come to terms with their feelings for each other, Kagehina struggling to just get together already because everybody and their mother knows they're in love, and then Tsukishima grappling with the fact he begrudgingly likes two idiots and realizing somewhere down the line he got dragged into their mess and fell for one brown haired boy too.

couldnt sleep so i went on ao3 since i posted smth for the first time in a while and i looked at old comments and went through the bookmarks on my fics - ive turned off most notification emails from ao3, so i was surprised to see people had bookmarked years old fic as recently as a few months ago. and left rly nice tags/notes. like. im not in that fandom anymore, my life is very different, ive grown and changed a lot, im a much better writer now. but even those fics im not rly proud of brought people some joy and keep doing so even long after theyve left my mind and it makes me happy. im glad some words i put together over eight years ago still find their way to readers and give them a few minutes of joy

Hey everyone! I wanted to share a preview of my piece for the @hqrarepairzine! This was such a fun freakin’ zine to work on! I got to write one of my favorite pairings ever: KageTsukiHina :D 

Kei can’t stand either of them, or the way they make him feel. Yamaguchi was right; he really is a masochist.

One of the things they like to do that drives him absolutely crazy (in a bad way, absolutely not stomach-butterflies, heart-fluttery kind of crazy, at all, that has never happened) is compete for his affections.

They fight to open doors for him, and over who gets to make him lunch. They compliment him a lot, which he hates. Hinata’s flattery tends to sound like he asked Bokuto-senpai and Kuroo-senpai for things to say, so it is always awful; and Kageyama still can’t make it through most compliments without stuttering, usually over something like trying to tell Kei that his water bottle is cool (it’s the same fucking bottle they all use for practice). The worst part is that Kei’s ears burn red every time, probably because they are both so tragically dumb.

He knows all the over the top romantic gestures are because the two of them don’t know the meaning of subtle; somehow, it’s ceased to be the most annoying thing in the world to him, and has instead just become a part of his daily life. But it is still painful to watch, and it all comes to a head the day they’re meant to be voting on the new volleyball team captain for third year.

What ships count as rarepair?

We’re really flexible on what counts as a rare pair. I would say anything besides the most popular pairing, which would be Kagehina, is fine. Although, if you want to experiment with some polyamory, such as KageTsukiHina, that would be totally cool.
