sunflower :   what brings your muse the most joy in life ? 

He was always happy spending time with Kyotsuna and Botan. They were a makeshift family and became close during the time they spent preparing for the Orochi and building the Kumo shrine. He used to love sparring with Kyotsuna despite the weight his sword skills would carry. In the wake of the Orochi, he learned to take joy in helping the land of Ōmi and it's people as their new guardian.

tulip :   how does your muse view people in general ?

Mostly neutral with a hint of skepticism. Due to the nature of the Orochi's curse, Kagemitsu was taught to be skeptical of those around him. There were those that could become the vessel and those that sought the vessel's power. His role was that of a shield for Botan and so he needed to be on his guard at all time. But he does love the people of Ōmi and dislikes having to suspect them. Beyond that, he is relatively neutral about human nature. Most people are just trying to get by and he wants to help his community.

holly :   how strong is your muse’s sense of intuition ?are they aware of it ?do they ever fear that it is only paranoia ?

As stated above, Kagemitsu relies on a bit of paranoia to keep him on his toes. He's not someone who relies heavily on his intuition and his caution above those around him often leads him to be a bit more skeptical than his necessary. He admittedly doesn't have the best intuition and wishes he had a better awareness. After all, if he had maybe he would have been able to save Kyotsuna.

Fuck, yes. Currently I have a Soo-won rp blog but I am just not inspired to write AT ALL, which is sad because I was VERY excited to write for him. The same thing happened with Iksoo, Kaya and Zeno (all four from Akatsuki no yona). I had a blog for Kalluto (hunter x hunter) but that died on me. There’s always some kind of commotion coming from the Kumo shrine, even first thing in the morning. And if anyone were to be approaching the shrine at this hour, they’d be just in time to see a small tanuki dart out the window, cheeks filled with a pickled plum, trailing grains of rice behind him. And out behind him comes his master, one young man, swinging a fist in the air.

“That’s right, you’d better run before I turn you into a pair of slippers!”

With a low grumble, Kagemitsu goes back inside and returns to clean the mess left behind by the rambunctious creature before he notices someone approaching the shrine through the front gate. He stands quickly, dusts himself off and goes to greet them, smiling warmly and bowing before them. Their’s is a face he’s not familiar with, knowing all those that live in the village surrounding Lake Biwa. 

“Good morning. Were you coming to visit the shrine? My name is Kumo Kagemitsu, the shrine’s keeper. Please come in. Are you hungry, I was just about to sit down to eat if you’d like to join me?”

( Kumo Kagemitsu - Donten Ni Warau - First Head of the Kumo Family, keepers of the Cloud Shrine on Lake Biwa. He serves as a guardian against the Orochi, a serpent spirit who resurrects once every 300 years (potentially in someone of his family line as part of it’s curse, though there are others). He is tasked with defeating Orochi should it appear in his lifetime else it will destroy Japan. )

But here they were, stuck inside the Kumo family shrine during a thunderstorm because apparently it’s “too dangerous to leave in such a storm!” He nearly laughed at one of Sora’s family members when they said that- this storm is nothing, it’s jogging weather!

                   Soramaru places a cup of tea in front of his friend , ENCOURAGING       and SYMPATHETIC , before sitting next to him. The question on whether or       not Tetsu drinks tea remains unasked as the young man allows his chin to fall       against the heel of his hand , and his gaze shifts to the  i r r a t i o n a l   man ;      quiet amusement   seeps into his voice as he continues ,  ❝  You could        just leave   .   .   .   but there would be  c o n s e q u e n c e s  the next time you        stopped over , heh.  ❞
