today is franz kafka's 100th death-day - he died on the 3rd june 1924, one month before his 41st birthday.

to commemorate him, i present to you my collection of books by and about him. if you are interested in one book and need help identifying it/need the ISBN, feel free to leave a comment.

Gleich hinter der Grenze im Hammer-und-Sichel-Emblem: Die Sichel – rot, der rote Hammer steckt ihr im Rachen, sie ist so geschlossen, als wolle sie Fahrkarten knipsen. Vor einer großen, dunklen, doch auch blühenden Kastanie noch ein Emblem, aber die Sichel, rot wie die erste, nur geöffnet und ihre – diesmal längere – Spitze erhebend, als sei sie ein Vogel nun in der Welt und bitte um Futter.
