Mu (esimene ja vb kanooniline) Rook on üks tsäsindi hundiküttidest – (pool)haldjas Terhi, kes oma kaaskütid (qunarist Sander ja poolpäkapikust Elona) ning nende kolm deemonkoera kaotas 8 aastat tagasi untsu läinud loitsu tõttu võitluses Pontu-Kaarli ehk Õõvasoega.
(lõike all lühikokkuvõte hundiküttide saatusest)
Elona sattus Nevarra Nekropoli, kus tast sai väga edukas surnuvaht koos Urmiga.

'Leverage'
Sofia Elizabeth Stedt hadn't had a good day. For several hours she had half-heartedly listened to the demands of her father's new 'partners'- ones that had made the mistake of believing they could strongarm her father for better terms. They were about to learn nobody tries to play Thomas Ludwig Stedt and gets away with it.
As daughter to Thomas Stedt, Sweden's largest maritime logistics tycoon, she was representing her father in Tallinn. The conference room overlooked the harbour, giving a bleak view of the frigid Gulf of Finland. But, with her useless brothers partying in New York or Dubai, someone had to take responsibility in the Stedt empire.
'Enough. We both know that due to the sanctions on Russia, your shipyards have lost most of your contracts. You have no leverage.' she asserted, interrupting her opposition. Her English was flawless after years of studying abroad, with only a hint of her Swedish accent audible.
'We've taken a short-term hit, yes.' Kaarli Rebane, a large man sitting across her admitted, adjusting his red tie uncomfortably in his seat. 'But Estonia has guaranteed our security. We're too important to be allowed to fail so no, we won't be coerced into a hostile takeover- no matter how many pretty Swedish girls the old man sends us!'
Unimpressed by sexism, Sofia glanced to her left where Mikael Lund, the head of her security, was seated. She gave him a nod and on cue he stood up, provided a dossier and handed it over to the Estonians, before returning to her side. She studied the mens reaction with satisfaction as any trace of smugness disappeared.
'I wonder, what if the public were to find out about your extensive relations to sanctioned, high-profile oligarchs?' she mused. A former Finnish intelligence officer, Lund had provided her with adequate background on her opposition, including Rebane's fondness of high-end escorts.
'Here's what's going to happen, gentlemen.' Sofia stated, crossing her legs and straightening her pose. 'Either you grant us controlling interest and keep your desks, working for us, or take your chances with money laundering charges.'
Victorious, she gave Lund an approving gaze. Handsome, sharp and discreet, he had proved himself as her right hand- unlike the usual yes-men she had the displeasure of dealing with. Nothing excited Sofia as much as breaking her rivals' balls, and as her personal aide, she had Lund see to her 'personal' needs as well.
Without looking, Sofia began massaging his leg under the table with her left high heel to tell him he was going to fuck her senseless once she was done. As usual, her boytoy maintained his composure well despite her teasing. Then again, she had always kept her men on a tight leash.
She was going to have him start investigating her brothers as well. With her father aging, she wasn't going to give her siblings any chances to contest her position...

*logs in after a whole week has passed*... Happy (super-belated 1st and) 2nd advent, dear followers! I'm back (again) and will start surfing through my dash to queue up all the good content in a moment. But first, a short summary of what wonderful memories this past week has given me:
Let's begin with last Saturday, the day before the 1st advent. Early in the morning, I took the train home, since I wanted to bring some stuff home from my rented apartment in the capital (to put them away in my cupboards/drawers/folders etc.) as well as bring back a few winter clothing items or other stuff that I knew I'd need soon.
I intended to get some writing done for that ONE (1) Kataang fic I still haven't finished (but barely got 100-200 words). Because, as soon as the train left the borders of Tallinn, I couldn't stop staring out of the window. There was snow on the ground, everywhere! The mainland of Estonia was like a winter wonderland, and I was soooo jealous that the coastal areas hadn't been a part of it.
Anyways, the unpacking and packing went smoothly at home. Once I was finished, I had some spare time to skim through the 2nd part of "Ruins of the Empire" quickly. Can I just say... KORRA BOOK 4 FEELS!!! And as I got to the brainwashing part, which showed the connection to the Dai Li.. AANG BOOK 2 FEELS!!! Oh man, I gotta read the whole thing more slowly once I have the chance, cause it was SO GOOOOD!
In the afternoon, my mom prepared the first blood sausages of this holiday season. They were absolutely delicious (with some ketchup and fried potatoes on the side)! After a fulfilling dinner, we headed back to the capital. To our surprise, it'd started snowing during the day and, by the time we arrived late in the evening, Tallinn was just as beautiful and white as the rest of the country. All of this made my 1st advent perfect.
Fast-forward to this Tuesday, my team (from work) went to do archery in a nearby area. It was so much fun and walking through the track in the pretty, snowy forest reminded me of skiing during P.E. classes in school. The sauna house, where we later ate and spent some time together, felt so cosy and I felt like I was visiting my grandmother back home. So nostalgic!
The following 2 days, I had 2 different Christmas concerts in the evenings. On Wednesday, I went to Elina Nechayeva's first-ever holiday tour, with Jaani church being her first stop. Since she's more of a classical/opera singer (a fantastic soprano, might I add), then her whole program sounded different than what I'd usually listen to, and that's what I loved about it!
Plus, I rarely tear up in public. It'd have to be something really emotional to bring me to tears, cause I've learned to hide my emotions in front of others (for my own protection). But she had this one song titled "Bird" ("Lind"), which she'd written herself and dedicated to her deceased grandmother. She asked the audience to think about their loved ones, who might've passed, and wish them something sweet, so I did.
But as she started singing, the song kept becoming more intense and higher and the lyrics were heartwrenching too.. I slowly felt a lump forming in my throat and tears welling up in my eyes. This was the 2nd time I'd ever teared up during a concert (the 1st time was also during an instrumental piece last year).
Considering the amount of emotions and how different Elina's concert was, Rolf Roosalu's seemed a tad bleak compared to hers. But, looking back at his on the following day (when I'd gotten some sleep), it was also really-really good in its own way. He performed together with Tiit Kikas, who played a laser harp, which added a cool sound to the songs he'd chosen and gave the performance a cool look with the light show.
His concert took place in Kaarli church on Thursday. It's such a popular concert that all 5 concerts were sold out long ago (just like in the previous years). There was a "daily" concert at 7 pm, but since that one was sold out, I bought a ticket to the "nightly" concert at 9:30 pm.
Aaaand... I think that's it. So much happened during this first week of December and I hope that I've managed to compile a coherent enough summary for you guys. Thanks for reading! *goes to surf her dash*

Fun Facts
Tallinn’s population is about half a million with majority of them as Ethnic Estonian. Russians form a significant minority among the residents. Estonian is the official language with Russian, Ukrainian, Finnish, and Belarusian as secondary languages. The city is very popular for its old town and several UNESCO Heritage sites. It also has 17th century tunnels that are open for public guided tours. It is also interesting to know that the city is called as Reval which had several origins based on folklore. There are also beliefs that seeing a man in red cloak is a bad luck since in medieval times, the city hired an executioner wearing the same outfit.

Whether you are going on a long drive, running errands, attending special occasions, or going on a vacation, renting a car is the wisest step to take. Car rental offers the convenience of getting the vehicle at your most preferred location and the model you want at a cheaper price compared with buying a new one. For those who already have their own car, renting a car is still an option if you do no want to shoulder the wear and tear caused by long drives. With all these reasons, you should go to a trusted company like the AAA Rent. They have a wide variety of cars to match your taste and needs.
Massive choir a place for Estonians to find identity, solace
During Estonia’s nearly 50 years of Soviet occupation, some traditional anthems and songs were banned or had their lyrics changed so singing them was an act of defiance. In the late 1980s, people intentionally sang the original versions of key songs at protests, and that defiance culminated in independence following their “Singing Revolution” in 1991. Read more here
Witnessing the massive choir at the Estonian Song and Dance Celebration brought several emotions for the participants. It was heartwarming to hear folk songs to be sang again and people united as one. Although many of the singers have not experienced the time when traditional anthems and songs were banned in the country, they have felt the emotions of freedom while singing. The celebration was a joyous moment for everyone – young and old - as they also saw the sea of blue, white and black flags fill the whole arena. May the festival continue to be a tradition of the Estonia in the next 100 more years.
Toompea in Tallinn, Estonia
Toompea, which means “Cathedral Hill” in German is part of the Tannin Old Town UNESCO World Heritage Site. The place is associated with power in Estonia. Since the 14th century, it served as the seat of the Knights of the Sword. When you visit the place, you will notice a flag on the top of the tower that represents the government of the Estonia. Toompea is the home of the well-known Orthodox Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Lutheran Cathedral and a small castle. All these structures can be dated back to 18th and 19th centuries. This is also where you will find The Stenbock House and the Estonian Academy of Arts.
