K2 Week 2020 is coming!

Day 1: festival [new-wave] Day 2: movies [soundtrack] Day 3: storm [pop] Day 4: AU [musical] Day 5: fairytale [folk/indie] Day 6: competition [rock] Day 7: travel [jazz] Hello! We hope that you are all well and safe in these chaotic times! We finally managed to finalize everything, also give a fancy new look to the blog itself! However, this year is not only about the renewal of looks, we also intend to shake things up a little bit in the week department! Summer holds a different importance to everyone, but there is one thing that kind of follows it around all over the world, it’s music! Tours, festivals, concerts... you name it! Alas this year almost all of these events were cancelled or postponed to a later date, so we decided take back this stolen experience and incorporate it to our annual K2 Week, turning the entire thing into a Summer Festival! So this year, dig up those forgotten songs and playlists and let the music take you to places!

And a little explanation for the prompts: There is only one main prompt. The genre of the music is the mood that represents the day!  You can link your  music in your post and share it with the rest of us! How can you join? Post your fanfic/fanart/fanwhatever on Tumblr or Twitter for any number of prompts. Do one or two days, or try to collect them all! Please remember to tag #spk2week2020 or #spk2week, and explicitly state on your post what day you’re posting for.  Also, because tumblr can eat tags/refuse to show things within them, please add @k2-week​ to your post!

If you see we haven’t reblogged it within a few hours, please shoot us a message. DO NOT FORGET: You don’t have to strictly follow the musical genres or spend hours sitting over your favourite song trying to determine what genre it belongs to! The goal of the even is to get inspired by music. Similarly if you are an author who can’t write while lyrics are going on in the background, you can use soundtracks. The limit is your imagination!

Day 4 - AU @k2-week A Newsies AU! I told myself not to, but in the end I kept walking around the topic like a hungry cat when she is thinking about how to push the milkbox off the counter...

I mostly listened to the Newsies Soundtrack and mostly Santa Fe and the King of New York! Also since drawing got a bit longer than I intended a "rest" day some Paul Street Boys snuck in with Szólít Egy Hang. (Even if you don't understand the language it's still a great duet)

It has come to our attention that tumblr is eating posts in the tags! :C We use both mobile and desktop tumblr and have noticed a post or two missing on both ends!
