Jyarumu
Portrayed by Sean Kanan
Wandering the wastes at the bottom of the world is a ferocious predator that takes the biting cold in stride: Jyarumu. A 163.63 meters tall at the shoulder, this massive apex predator is, based on current knowledge, Siberia's largest native predator known until now.
Jyarumu is a Kaiju frozen for many years in the Siberian permafrost near the Arctic Ocean. The slumbering Jyarumu was finally awakened after its icy tomb began to melt as a result of global warming, allowing it to break through the sheets of freezing earth and once again wreak havoc upon the world. Savage and belligerent, Jyarumu is violent, ruthless, and cruel. It has a warlike disposition, refusing to give up a fight with an opponent until either its foe is vanquished or it dies on the battlefield. Its body is composed entirely of muscle, making it a super-monster of strength, and it has an incredible fighting spirit - when angered or excited, the thin vein- like markings on its body pulse red. Jyarumu's primary offensive weapon is the large horn on its head, which it uses to slash and pierce its foes. It can also use its deceptively powerful tail to pummel its opponents, and spit a deadly purple toxic gas from its maw. Jyarumu can jump extraordinarily high and glide at mach speeds utilizing the two wings on its forearms. These wings can also be used as blade-like secondary weapons. It is a master of melee combat both on the ground and in the air, able to rise into the sky and dive at fast speeds, crushing its foes with its bulk and skewering them with its deadly horn.
Considering Siberia at this time was in the middle of a glaciation event that would go on to smother the entire landmass under miles of ice, these waifs needed to quickly adapt to survive the impending ice age. Their bodies grew larger and more compact, their armor and body fat thickened, and they develop a countercurrent heat exchange system in their shrinking wings, all in the name of retaining enough body heat to keep them alive but in the process reducing their flight capabilities. By the time the ice had enveloped the entire continent, the once roughly man-sized hypothetical ancestor that soared through jungles was now a building-sized top-order carnivore patrolling the frozen landmass on foot. The wings they sport now serve only for intimidation and the most short-lived of gliding attempts, a relic of their days as powered fliers. This is not the only physical trait Jyarumu has retained in some form from its cousins and ancestors. Like Leafwings, she possesses a long, papillae-covered tongue and heat-sensing pits that detect the differences in thermal contrast. More vestigial than this is an anesthetic component and an anti-coagulant to the Jyarumu's saliva, which in the Leafwing is instead a very powerful venom that is used in defensive purposes. All of these traits combined come together to paint a picture of a blood-eating, or sanguivorous, organism. The heat-sensing pits would have been used much like a vampire bat as they find prey and pinpoint the blood vessel closest to the surface, and the anticoagulant and anesthetic would have kept the blood flowing as the creature laps it up with its papillae-covered tongue. However, neither Jyarumu and Leafwings feast on blood (unless for Jyarumu, you could the blood of its fallen prey), which suggests that these adaptations have been retooled from their common ancestor, who would have been a sanguivorous flier. This common ancestor likely patrolled the jungles for large megafauna to exploit and might have been quite common across the Isles. But after millions of years of environmental change, some of its descendants would diverge and take on different evolutionary paths. For the Leafwings, they have repurposed their traits to seek out endothermic flowering plants in bloom and sip up their succulent nectar, the anti-coagulant and anesthetic in their saliva becoming the powerful venom they possess today. For Jyarumu, they needed to resort to true carnivory when they found themselves in a radical and changing environment lacking many large animals.
The actual processing of this flesh takes place further back in the jaws, with the scissor rows of serrated teeth that slice through flesh like a guillotine. Despite their formidable nature, the teeth are ill-suited to process hard food such as bones and armor, as their blade-like shape is rather inefficient when it comes to punching through such hard objects. This limits the prey items Jyarumu normally hunt to small, unarmored kaiju that can be easily torn apart by the jaws or swallowed whole. The hands further support this idea, as they each possess a large sickle claw, not unlike those of various birds of prey and dromaeosaurs. In both those groups, sickle claws are often used to pin down and crush smaller prey in their grip in a technique known as Raptor Prey Restraint. While Jyarumu has quite a different body plan to these dinosaurs and birds, the same general technique is likely employed. Speaking of the feet, the digits of this titan are laden with stress fractures and sites of localized microbial infection, but don't these don't seem to cause much of a hindrance to the titan. The microbes themselves originate from rotting carcasses, suggesting that Jyarumu might have been regularly walking in the food that it eats. Based on all of these pre-established traits, it is inferred Jyarumu's species are proficient predatory kleptoparasites that processed large meaty carcasses, often meaning it was feet-deep in rotting flesh hence the lingering infections. This is not too outlandish, as their gigantotherm metabolism means they can scavenge quite regularly if they need to due to decreased energetic demands compared to other daikaiju and their large size would allow them to bully smaller predators such as how she did with Baragon. They might even wait for other scavengers better suited to breaking through the armored covering of deceased large predators to arrive, waiting until the fleshy body cavity is revealed. They can do this in a variety of ways, such as using their jaws and claws to swipe and nip at competitors until they finally leave. But Jyarumu employs a more efficient scavenger deterrent inside its body. Stored within the thoracic and throat regions, Jyarumu possesses various sacs filled with ice nucleation proteins that when released from the mouth and into the air, forming a large, subzero cloud that can cause severe frostbite to expose flesh and quickly robs the heat from other organism's bodies. While the beam can be used to ward off attackers or disable prey, its primary use is to drive off other scavengers with a sudden blast of frost. To the other gigantotherm daikaiju of the Antarctic depths, heat is everything, so this disabling frost attack is usually only ever used once on a rival scavenger before they retreat so that they can recuperate their heat energy.
While the frost breath is quite effective, it is often rarely used in combat as Jyarumu prefers battling her opponents with physical strength and skill. The jaws and claws are already rather formidable weaponry, but Jyrarumu takes physical weaponry and defense a step further than these basic criteria. There is a reason she's called the Bladed Beast of Frost. The first wing finger of Jyarumu has grown considerably thick and robust, an adaptation for the enlarged denticles that sprout out from their surface. Once meant to streamline Jyarumu's ancestors through the air as they flew, they now serve as deadly serrated blades that cleave through enemies and prey. Being exposed to the elements and constant battling with competitors, these derived placoid scales grow dull over a few months before finally being shed and subsequently replaced by a newly sharpened replacement blade that has been pushing out the duller tooth. But by far the most prominent physical weapon Jyarumu possesses is the bladed horn adorning the top of its head. This magnificent weapon is lined in a sharp edge nearly as sharp as obsidian but far more durable and thus is capable of slicing through the skin and flesh of rival titans with great ease. Jyarumu is incredibly tactical with this head-oriented weapon, using it almost like a lance to precisely stab and slice with great elegance and skill and can be used in deadly upward strikes due to the large muscle attachments in the neck and shoulders. Of course, such a weapon has its weaknesses, for it is unable to cut through the armored exterior of some daikaiju. Additionally, with enough use and exposure to the elements, the blade can begin to dull, making it less efficient. But Jyarumu has an almost elegant solution to this. Almost immediately upon being exposed to the air, the horn begins exuding out a waxy substance that hardens when exposed to the cold. Within less than half an hour, Jyarumu's exposed horn becomes sheathed in thick layers of hardened wax, protecting the cutting edge from the elements while also self-sharpening it. When Jyarumu ever needs to bust it out, she releases a burst of cryogenic vapor from her jaws that encompasses her head in a cloud of frost. The sudden drop in temperature causes the wax to further harden until it is brittle enough to be scrapped off and reveal the deadly weapon underneath, ready to carve through whatever it was able to pierce.

The recent suggestion for Destoroyah and Bagan existing only as different route exclusives gave me an idea on how to make the the “Balkzardan and Jyarumu are the two halves of Bagan’s soul” idea work with this.
Basically Bagan was the first Destroyer Titan. He was meant to be the embodiment of the balance required to keep the planet stable, harnessing both light and dark to act as a stabilizer via destruction. Think of it like how wildfires tend to help revitalize forests. This, predictably, didn’t go well. He rampaged across the planet, destroying wantonly for pleasure. The other titans of the time fought a long and fierce battle to contain the mad destroyer. Eventually he was sealed away deep beneath the land that would one day be known as China. His soul was split from his body and torn in two, creating the twins of the light and dark. His body, preserved but soulless, withered within the temple he had been sealed in. It wasn’t until one of the Makers, the soul survivor of Ghidorah’s rampage across the cosmos, made their way to earth. Collecting the DNA of Ghidorah and Godzilla, it used the genetic material of both the false and true kings to revitalize Bagan’s body. But his soul would need to be reconstructed. Using a variant of the ORCA, they lured the twins to a climatic fight. Sensing something wrong, the other titans of the planet coalesced at the same site, but despite numerous valiant attempts, were unable to stop the twins from mutually slaying each other, freeing Bagan’s soul to reenter his restored and now even more powerful body. The reborn Bagan views himself as a “son” of Godzilla and Ghidorah, using the fact that the combination of their DNA allows him to be much stronger than he was even before his sealing away as a way to taunt the King of the Monsters.
Just something I thought up with cause I love the ideas others are having with stuff such as Battra and building upon others, so I thought I’d build upon that one ask about Bagan and his coexistence role.
Seems that sole survivor learned precisely nothing about what happened the last time his species tried playing god, which is all too appropriate for AbraxasVerse villains!

Memories (Part 3)
Another day begins on the Monster Island, Godzilla wakes up satisfied because he knows that he is going to meet his beloved human girl on the island.
Godzilla stops and the first thing he does is check his cave, to see if no intruders entered, but he doesn't find anything strange.
After checking his lair, Godzilla comes out of his cave and runs into his friends Anguirus, Balkzardan, Baragon, Behemoth, Gamera and Rodan, apart from someone he hasn't seen for thousands of years, his brother Kunin, not to mention the presence. of two other monsters he had never seen, Battra and Jyarumu, with whom Kunin fought. It was at that moment that the Alpha remembered that way of fighting, and looking at his brother with surprise, he said:
Godzilla: "Kunin?"
Upon hearing his name, the reptilian quickly looked down at the Alpha's place and sat down somewhat confused.
Godzilla: "Is that you, brother?"
Godzilla asked excitedly while Kunin didn't know what to say to him. He didn't understand why Godzilla knew his name. Who was he?
Kunin: "Who are you?"
He asked uncertainly, not wanting to confirm to Godzilla that he was indeed him, though he happily and easily answered the question.
Godzilla: "It's me! *Gojira!"
Kunin: "Gojira?"
Godzilla: "Uh huh"
Gojira is the name that his father Lilin gave him at his birth, Godzilla is the name by which we humans know him more
Looking at it more closely, he could see the resemblance he had with Lilin, and yes, it was indeed Gojira, the Godzilla he thought he had lost so many years ago. Recognizing him, he yelled with happiness and both happy reptilians high-fived their hands, shot their atomic breaths into the sky and circled around each other.
Kunin: "WOAW! But how? Where did you come from?"
Baragon couldn't understand what the hell was going on. I don't know why they recognized each other and now they're like bosom friends? what happened?
Godzilla: "Sparkles! Nice to see you!"
"Kunin: Ah! How nice!"
Then the meeting between the two Godzillasaurus was interrupted by Baragon, who annoyed approached to try to clarify what was happening, although he failed to get anyone's attention, since they were too focused on each other.
Baragon: "Hey! What's grilling here?"
Kunin: "What are you doing here?"
Baragon: "What do I mean? What are you doing here?"
While the two were talking happily, Baragon, who was between the two lizards, yelled to get them out of the nostalgic state they were both in, while making his huge horn shine.
Baragon: "HEY! WHAT'S GOING ON? DID I MISS SOMETHING?"
Godzilla remembering two of his best friends began to introduce them to his brother so they could meet him.
Godzilla: "Baragon, he's Kunin, he's my brother!"
Baragon: "Brother?"
Kunin: "YES!"
He responded happily.
Baragon: "Hey, Anguirus! Come here!"
He called out to the battleship, who had just managed to finish the talk he was doing with the Behemoth and Balkzardan.
Anguirus: "Huh?"
Godzilla: "Kunin? This is Anguirus… Anguirus, Kunin"
Anguirus: "It's nice to meet you!"
Said the ankylosaurid with great kindness.
Anguirus: "The pleasure is all mine"
Baragon: "Hello"
Baragon said in between, but then he spoke more confused:
Baragon: "Wait! Time! Time! Let's see if I understand…? You know him, he knows you, but then he forgets you… Tell me… Does this seem logical to you?"
Godzilla: "Calm down, Baragon."
Godzilla said softly, trying to calm down the dragonlith who had become somewhat tense. Kunin then joyfully addressed Godzilla.
Kunin: "Wait everyone knows that you've been here… And our mother! What will she think?"
Godzilla: "Y-You don't have to know… No one has to know!"
Godzilla replied, remembering the reason for his escape (he believed that his father had died). He didn't want to go back to remember what had happened years ago.
Kunin: "Of course! Everyone thinks that you and our father are dead!"
Godzilla: "Really?"
Kunin: "Yes, Leucophalus told us about that cruel day…"
Godzilla: "Oh yeah? And what else did he tell you?"
Kunin: "What does that matter? You're alive! So… you're the king!"
Then Baragon intervened mocking what Kunin had just said.
Baragon: "King? Pfff! Boy, I think the lizards crossed your path"
Anguirus, even more surprised, lay down on the ground as a sign of respect.
Anguirus: "King? I bow down at your feet!"
He then started to kiss Godzilla's paw, but Godzilla quickly brushed it away.
Godzilla: Enough!
He said something annoying. Baragon then corrected Anguirus' words.
Baragon: It's not dessert, it's dessert, and wait… It's not the king! You are?
Godzilla: No!
Kunin: "Gojira!"
Kunin said when he saw that his dear brother denied his destiny
Godzilla: "No, I'm not the king! Maybe I was going to be, but it was a long time ago, and besides, our father may still be alive."
Baragon: "Let's see if I understood… Your father is or was the king. And you didn't say anything?"
Timon asked trying to understand the situation better.
Godzilla: "I'm the same as always"
Baragon: "But with power! If you're not a king, at least you're a prince"
Said the power-hungry digger when he saw that he had it within his reach. Kunin then intervened seeing that Baragon and Anguirus weren't helping much with convincing Godzilla to come back. It must also be said that the reptoid wanted to be alone with his brother.
Kunin: "Please, will you excuse us for a few minutes?"
Baragon: "Ouch! Whatever you want to say say it in front of everyone! Not Simba?"
Godzilla: "Hmm… Better leave us alone"
Baragon: "Of course! With these friends, why do we want enemies…"
He spoke somewhat annoyed as he withdrew with Anguirus from the place, leaving the two lizards alone.
Godzilla: I forgot something. Is the volcano ready yet?
Anguirus, Baragon, Behemoth, Balkzardan, Gamera and Rodan: It is more than ready
Godzilla back talks to his brother Kunin:
"Baragon and Anguirus are going to like you"
Godzilla said looking at his brother, who looked somewhat embarrassed.
Godzilla: "What?"
he asked sweetly.
Godzilla: "What's up?"
Kunin: "It's like you've been resurrected… You don't know what it will mean for everyone… And for me…"
Godzilla: "Uhh, calm down."
He tried to cheer him up, although Kunin was already happier and showed it by shining his spines on his back while he purred.
Kunin: "I missed you so much"
Godzilla: "Me too you…"
They both flashed their backs with loyalty. Meanwhile, behind some bushes, Baragon and Anguirus spied on the lizard brothers.
Baragon: "Pfff! I tell you Anguirus, it stinks!"
Anguirus: "Oh, sorry…"
Baragon: "Not you! Them!"
He said pointing to the two reptilians who were walking together.
Hour and a half later:
Godzilla: Hey brother, I have to go, I made an appointment at the volcano, if you want you can go with me
Kunin: Really?
Godzilla: Yes, come on, join me.
Godzilla and Kunin run to the volcano to see how their friends are in the volcano.

Yamata no Orochi

Godzilla Gang Revised: Monsters of Myth
In this entry of the Godzilla Gang Revised, we focus on monsters from a lost age of human history, when select humans merged with the few surviving Venusians and created an empire of magitech wonders.  An age of dragons and phoenixes, wizards and heroes.  These are the monsters of myth, creatures that modern man considers mere legends - until they re-emerge into the world as a new age of monsters begins.
The kaiju profiles here will be written in the order they appear on the size chart, BTW.
King Shisa: largest and greatest of the Shisa lion dogs, King Shisa swore an oath to defend the land that would eventually be named Okinawa.  The mighty mammal fought many battles to protect his home and the humans that came to dwell there, and was rewarded with a set of enchanted armor and a golden crown for his efforts.  He was so devoted that, in his old age, he allowed himself to be enchanted, turning his body to stone so he could better withstand the passing of time, only to become flesh and blood once more when Okinawa’s hour of need comes again.
Manda: one of the largest specimens of Asian dragon, Manda is an abnormally large ryujin, a dragon species that specializes in causing seastorms.  Though prone to terrorizing humans in her youth, Manda eventually befriended the people of Mu, a colony of the great civilization of Nirai Kanai.  When a cataclysm of their own design was poised to destroy them, Manda helped the people of Mu survive in the depths of the Ocena, and has guarded their underwater fortress for thousands of years since.
Megalon: an enormous beetle, it is unclear if Megalon is a relic of the first Atomic era, the Atomic Ice Age, or some other strange circumstance.  What is known is that he is a protector, having shepherded early groups of humans to underground shelters in humanity’s prehistory.  His kind and trusting nature eventually saw him employed by the civilization of Nirai Kanai, and he served them loyally - even when defending them brought him into conflict with the daughters of Inagos (and Battra in particular).  When Nirai Kanai fell, Megalon helped a large colony survive by building a large underground cavern for them to hide in, and so founded the subterranean world of Seatopia.  The Seatopians “repaid” Megalon by allowing some strange humanoids who called themselves “Space Hunters” to experiment on him, removing one set of his arms and replacing his original claws with enormous drills.  Though kind-hearted, Megalon’s trusting nature and indefatigable loyalty often prove his undoing, and the dull-minded creature is often put into bad situations by his poisonous friends.
Gabara: a warty amphibious ogre, Gabara’s roar is worse than his electric shocks.  Physically weak for a creature of his size and utterly unskilled in combat, Gabara depends on being able to scare other monsters away for survival, as any that actually try to fight him will quickly realize how weak of an opponent he is.  Luckily, he is aided by his unusual and strong connection to the psychic plane, which allows Gabara to manifest in the dreams of others and turn them into horrible nightmares.  Creatures unfortunate enough to live in the area Gabara is currently nesting in will suffer recurring bad dreams, with the ogre portrayed as a dire threat beyond all others in them.  As a result, most creatures that encounter the beast are too paralyzed with fear to act against him, allowing Gabara to beat them up in their terror-stricken state before beating a hasty retreat when they begin to regain control.
Gekido Jin: The largest and cruelest of all oni, Gekido Jin menaced the country that would become Japan.  His reign of terror was only ended when King Shisa faced him in combat, beating the the oni into submission so a shrine maiden could bind the tyrant in a powerful enchantment, turning Gekido-Jin to stone.  However, much like King Shisa (who would go under a similar enchantment willingly), Gekido Jin can rise again, if a human being gives their life to end the enchantment.  What dark hour could inspire such a sacrifice scarcely bears contemplation.
Axor: a serpent-like creature, cults of Axor have been found all over the world, and the three-eyed serpent is always spoken of with a mix of reverence and abject dread.  A hypnotic and mind-controling tyrant, Axor enslaved vast nations in his heyday, and was set to rule the world before he faced resistance from an unlikely source.  Refugees from Venus arrived on earth, sporting psychic powers comparable to Axor’s own, and quickly merged with humanity to combat the reptile’s cruel reign.  Soon Axor was forced to retreat from the psychic assault of the Venusians, and the civilization they forged on Earth established several safeguards to prevent him from returning.  Of course, Nirai Kanai eventually fell to their own hubris, their survivors scattered and lost, their vast cities almost entirely reduced to dust - and so Axor may rise again...
Crustaclops: A strange hybrid of crustacean and man, the beast that modern kaijuologists call Crustaclops is in fact one of the earliest artificially created chimeras of Nirai Kanai.  Though crude compared to their later efforts, his ability to turn invisible and levitate large objects (or even creatures) still makes him a formidable creature, and his nature as a hybrid of terrestrial and aquatic species proved to be a winning formula in the eyes of his creators.  (Based on the Cyclops Creature from The Godzilla Power Hour.)
Balkzardan: primarily a hybrid of shark and wolf (among other things), Balkzardan can run faster than almost any other kaiju, while still sporting thick armor that keeps it safe from harm.  Though useful as a weapon of war, Balkzardan’s primary purpose was to control the weather, with the ability to summon and channel lightning through its horns and call down hail from the skies.  This is where the monster went wrong, as Balkzardan went berserk and created vast horrible storms across the world, forcing the people of Nirai Kanai to seal him away and try a different experiment.
Jyarumu: designed to be a bit less ambitious than Balkzardan, Jyarumu kept the ability to freeze opponents (though not the ability to summon ice storms) and was otherwise built to be a weapon first and foremost.  Huge and stronge, Jyarumu’s durable wings allow him to fight enemies on land, sea, and sky.  Unfortunately, she was a bit too enthusiastic about her job, and also had to be sealed away.
Dagarla: a vast sea dragon, Dagarla was meant to keep the oceans from getting polluted, and initially he was very good at this task.  Unfortunately, a species of parasitic starfish that latched onto him mutated into the deadly and poisonous barem, and began to reproduce uncontrollably by leeching off of the sea monster’s bodily fluids.  The people of Nirai Kanai could not figure out how to stop Dagarla’s barem infestation, which were now threatening all of the earth’s seas, and so were forced to seal Dagarla away as well, much to the dragon’s shock and dismay.  Dagarla did not take the betrayal well, and now harbors a grudge against humanity.
Rajin: a chimera of various arthropods, Rajin was meant to create vast quantities of food for humanity and thereby end world hunger.  However, the food produced by Rajin proved incredibly addictive, and soon people clamored to devour Rajin alive.  The monster did not take this well, and Rajin not only killed thousands of humans, but began to attack any representatives of Nirai Kanai who attempted to reclaim him.  So, like many other creations, he was sealed away.
Norzekmet: Nirai Kanai and its various sub-countries did not stick merely to flesh and blood kaiju.  Living statues, the predecessors to modern humanity’s mecha, were also among their creations, and the crown jewel of these was Norzekmet, a flying sphinx made of metal and carved stone.  A powerful and loyal servant, Norzekmet continues to defend the civilization of his masters, even after their death. (Based on Norzzug from Godzilla: The Series, as well as Michael Dougherty’s description of what the unseen Monsterverse kaiju Sekmet.)
Norzug:  Even ancient civilizations have a march of progress, and Norzekmet’s predecessor, Norzug, is proof of that.  While far cruder in construction than its improved successor, Norzug proved just as durable and long-lasting, working with its younger “sibling” to protect the ruins of their masters all the way to the present day.  (Based on the Stone Guardians from The Godzilla Power Hour.)
Majin Tuol: Another pinnacle of Nirai Kanai technology, the golden guardian Majin Tuol is second to Norzekmet only because of the gaudy choices in his construction, as the gold used for his outer covering is not as durable as the alloys that cover his sphinx-like cousin.  Nevertheless, he is a powerful foe in battle, and waits in the ruins of his master’s home for the day when he is called to action again.  (Based on the Golden Guardians from The Godzilla Power Hour.)
Mekolossus: While less ornate and more obviously mechanical than the other technical marvels of its age, Mekolossus is still an impressive feat of engineering, with a stream-lined metal body and powerful tentacles tipped with sharp pincers.  The machine still guards the ruins of Atlantis, one of the largest and most famous cities of the Nirai Kanai empire.  (Based on the Atlantean Colossus from The Godzilla Power Hour.)

King Kong
Portrayed by Ralph Macchio
Background: Apex's search for the Isle of the Skull was a long and arduous one, analyzing folk tales, myths, and survivor accounts spanning continents and oceans. As expected from looking at such widely different sources separated by distance and time, there were many inconsistencies between the supposed accounts of the island, such as its location. But there was one thread most of them had in common: The so-called lord of this Nightmare Realm. South Pacific legends speak of it as "The King of the South Seas", a true force of nature that even the most vicious of demons cower in fear of. Denham's notes give a bit more clarity on the appearance of this giant, as it was the same beast that supposedly saved what remained of his crew from the man-eating armored saurians. He described it as a titanic ape-like creature, its body covered in skeletal-like armor and a thick covering of fur. While he did not christen the creature with any specific name, he did usually described it in his notes as "The Eighth Wonder of the World", a living god unparalleled in his strength and ferocity by all the beasts of the Earth or so he says anyway. More information would be gleaned from this mysterious entity after the discovery of the Cosmic Mountains in 1961, ruled over by its own pantheon of beasts worshipped by humans known as the Ailenas. The Ailenas speak of the Skull Isles in their myths, though referred to them by its more ancient name of Kaito, a land in constant flux and turmoil and inhabited by the most terrifying creations of nature. Under normal circumstances, such a pantheon would have crumbled long ago from the sheer destruction such an ecological nightmare could inflict upon the island and its inhabitants. But fortunately for both the island and the rest of the world, there is an entity that ensures such a disaster does not come to be. To the Ailenas he is known as the Mountain that Thunders Death, the ruler of the Nightmare Realm. Considered a creature equal in power to the King himself, this thundering behemoth ensures the numerous monstrosities that dwell upon the Isles are kept in check, thereby bringing some semblance of serenity to the living horror show that is Kaito. But as the war of the monster raged on, things grew more and more desperate for him and his kind, as the giant apes battled the great saurians, beasts they have been locked in a perpetual ancient rivalry dozens of millions of years in the making. As the war drew to a close, a great cataclysm hit Kaito, dismantling the last stronghold of the Southern Empire and crippled the numbers of the island's gods, including the brethren of its thundering ruler. Not much else is known by the Ailenas regarding what has happened on the Isles since then, its remote location and their mainly isolationist mentality preventing much travel beyond their region's borders. But what is certain is that even after all these years, even after the titanic catastrophe of Kaito, the king of the Isles continues to reign with a mighty fist, sworn the solemn duty of protecting his home from any and all threats, even if it comes at the cost of his own life...
A giant gorilla-like ape (to which his species is related) that lives in the Atlantic Ocean, on a populated island called Skull Islland (located between South America and Africa and this island being a gateway to the Hollow Earth). A haven for the megafauna of Earth's past, large or small, thriving undetected by human contact, prehistoric beasts dominate the landscape, the island is kept in check. by their guardian gods, some who are virtuous and others who are destructive, but one god stood above the rest, ruling the island, none other than... King Kong
Considered by the natives as their protective king, it is the dominant life form on the island. Leading the Virtuous Gods, consisting of himself, along with Ajabront, Angror the Invincinator, Baragon, Jyarumu, Chondar, Behemoth, Kinadga, Hyupran, and Nyokembo (among others), keeping the nature of things at peace. Later, he would be seen in the ring with another kaiju... What is a King before a God?
Though not quite as legendary as Godzilla, it is impressive that King Kong has managed to eke out such a reputation for himself at a relatively young age. The giant ape has spent almost his entire life on Skull Island, and has guarded the isle for many, many decades.
Among the most intelligent of the Kaiju, Kong will fashion armor and weapons from fallen foes. Kong's primary weapon is a massive sword created from the skull of an as yet undiscovered kaiju species. Kong rules over the remote skull island and defends his home ferociously. In combat Kong is know to strategize and use the environment to his advantage.
King Kong is, understandably, still very much haunted by his past. He holds a lot of angst and sorrow within him even now, but it's of course justified: not only did Kong witness his parents literally being torn apart limb from limb, but, according to the Iwi, he had to look all over the island for the pieces of his parents to bury them in the Boneyard. Due to this inner anger and frustration, Kong prefers to be alone, though still has a few close friends including Gorosaurus. That said, Kong is far from just a rage-fuelled warrior: his intelligence has made him one of the most complex and, in a way, astounding of all Kaiju. He has a great appreciation for natural beauty, and is known to stop his near-constant patrols at night to witness the Aurora Australis. Indeed, Kong is greatly altruistic, having given up his life and any form of indulgence to be Skull Island's king. He will even help outsiders so long as they are no threat. However, it should always be remembered that if you harm Skull Island you will incur the wrath of its king.

Here’s some more headcanons for how other Godzilla characters could work in the Abraxasverse. This time we’re getting a lil obscure.
Krystallak: With Xenilla defeated (alive or dead depending on your decision), Gigan needed a new herald to further his plan. Plan from the DNA taken from Ozymandias and mixed with Cordycepts, Krystallak was created. A living Cordycept colony, Krystallak only has one object: assimilate every living thing it sees. Speaking with with a collective of voices, it is perhaps the most animalistic and feral foe the Titans have yet to face. Secretly, Gigan has designed the beast so that its death would trigger a wormhole to allow his entire fleet to jump to earth instantly.
Obsidius: an ancient enemy of Shimo, its mummified body lay had long laid in the deep sea by the time Xenilla fell from the stars. During its final battle against the possessed king, a crystalline spine blown from his back landed in the ocean, near the resting place of the ancient rival. Speaking the body back to life, the intense heat destroyed the damaged cordycepts before they could assimilate into him. Filled with an ever present rage, his constant fury burns within him like a furnace. Quiet, patient, and polite, he is nevertheless vicious and brutal in a fight. He is also kind of obsessive about Shimo, seeing her as the Yang to his Yin, his eternal foe in battle. In truth, he subconsciously yearns to be return to the grave via a warriors death at Shimo’s hands.
Balkzardan and Jyarumu (putting these two together cause their stories are intertwined): Bagan was once the most powerful of Earth’s enemies. In times before most of the titans even existed, the first titans sealed him away, splitting his essence into two halves. One light, Balkzardan, and one dark, Jyarumu. The two were mortal enemies, battling each other constantly. Nothing mattered to Balkzardan but destroying her brother, feeling it her duty to protect the world from his evil, even if it cost lives. Jyarumu, by contrast, saw his sister only as a nuisance, with his focus on creating as much death and destruction to revel in as possible. Soon the other titans realized that not only were the twins constant battles dangerous to the developing life on earth, but they could be catastrophic. Mothra received a vision of what would happen should either one ever prevail and kill their sibling - an absorption of the dead’s energy by the living resulting in Bagan being freed from his imprisonment deep beneath China. Despite their pleas, Balkzardan refused to stop fighting her brother, seeing his defeat and death as the only thing that mattered. Jyarumu would only see this result as the best chaos he could hope for. So, the Titans were forced to seal the two away. Shimo froze Jyarumu in ice in Siberia, while Mothra and Battra placed Balkzardan beneath a seal with help of two Iwi priestess, the first of the Shobijin. Should the two ever reawaken, perhaps due to the damage to the earth as a result of attempts at terraforming by a certain three headed devil, catastrophe is perhaps inevitable for all those who live on Earth.
First two are from Unleashed, second two are from the Trading Battle game. Thought it would be nice to experiment with some more obscure kaiju, curious to what ya think. Probably will do the other trading battle kaiju (Razin, Barugraon, Shiigan/Seagan, and Vagnosaurus) soon. Also credit to Matt Frank’s Godzilla Neo for the ideas of Krystallak being a wormhole catalyst and the trading battle siblings being connected to Bagan.
Ooh, food for thought. Krystalak and Obsidius I was already passingly aware of, but never heard of the Trading Battle game, so it's always cool to see what kind of obscure beasties show up in games and stuff.

Jyarumu
