I’ve decided to do something a little different after pulling ideas from other amazing writers challenges. That being a challenge where I give you a list of some of my favorite things, things that bring me joy and bliss, and songs that make my heart happy. 

If you can’t tell where this is going, I’ll sum it up for you ;)

Rules of the challenge:

1. Pick up to 2 prompts. (Limit 2 per person)

2. Each prompt can be used up to two times.

3. Pick a prompt and send an ask claiming which one you want. (I’ll cross out those taken).

4. The prompts can be used in the same fic or in two separate ones.

5. It can be in one-shot, drabble, or inserted in a series. (If you insert it in a series that has already begun, make sure to tag me in the masterlist for that series, or have the link on that chapter, so I can read it all.)

Things that make me happy to be alive:

1. Watching the sunset, with windows down, in the car jamming. 

2. The fireplace crackling on a stormy night.

3. The feeling of warm laundry straight out of the dryer. 

4. Curling into 20 blankets when your freezing. 

5. The smell of a new candle that takes up the whole space. 

6. Getting out of work when it’s still light outside.

7. Getting a letter in the mail.

8. Taking a walk through a wooded area and the sunlight filtering through the leaves.

9. Dancing when no one is watching.

10. A bubble bath after a long day.

11. A cup of tea when I’m feeling down.

12. The smell of rain on a day off.

13. Coffee on a day with no energy.

14. When someone draws on your back.

15. Redecorating an entire room. 

16. Showing a new show/movie to someone and them liking it as much as you.

17. A long road trip to a new, unexplored destination.

18. A hot shower when you’re sick.

19. New sheets on the bed.

20. Getting dressed up for a night out you’ve been planning forever or when you haven’t gone out in a while.

21. Finding a song that speaks to you through the lyrics and music.

22. Finding a new TV series that you will actually binge.

23. When a pet nuzzles into you while they’re sleeping.

24. Smelling a smell that brings back a memory.

25. Baking/cooking something from scratch and it comes out perfect.

26. Having all the windows open in your house on a cool fall day.

27. Buying new plants or getting flowers.

28. Starting my day before sunrise.

29. Deep cleaning the house and finishing before noon.

30. When someone pays for your meal coffee in front of you in the drive thru.
