Ok....I hate this though.
Sighhhh I'm not trying to attack anyone in this post but this is more to the og post than the reblog- but I seriously can't stand this though bc people are using it to call Teru a murderer.
Sighh I've already made a post about this but I gotta defend my man until the end-
First. Teru has ALWAYS been a brother first. Kou has ALWAYS been an exemption and we've seen it multiple times- he let Hanako go the first time bc of Kou, he let's his sister keep a mokka as a pet, the first thing he thought of to ask Akane when it came to his favor was to protect Kou, Teru let Kou handle The Red House even tho Akane protested, he even let Kou come with him to the Far Shore and then LET HANAKO GET AWAY AGAIN- bc be honest if Teru REALLY put being an exorcist first kou wasn't putting up much of a fight against him, Teru could have pushed Kou out of the way and went after Hanako BUT HE DIDN'T. And the first thing Teru did when a dangerous supernatural showed himself was to GET KOU OUT OF THE WAY- EVEN THO IT PUT AN OPENING ON HIM- HE HAS ALWAYS PUT BEING A BROTHER FIRST BEFORE BEING AN EXORCIST. Teru would normally NEVER do any of the things listed but it was KOU- if Teru was an exorcist first he would have exorcized Hanako the first time.
Second. Teru ISN'T a fucking animal. Teru has shown restraint with supernaturals MULTIPLE times and on multiple occasions- he CAN control himself, if he was nearly as violent as yall say he is Hanako would have been exorcized in The Young Exorcist arc or sooner.
Third. Teru already knew. Teru knew Kou was dead he just didn't want to believe it. This man has been around the supernatural world his entire life he WOULD KNOW when a spirit/supernatural is near by- he already knew that's why he looked so distraught when he yelled Kou's name- and another thing...his blade never touched Kou...it was his spirit lightning and Kou even says so- he never layed a hand on him until the very end- and the fact he already knew explains why he went to the well IMMEDIATELY after...he was confirming what he already knew he just didn't want to believe it. And even at the end Teru did what was best for Kou...Kou would have never wanted to stay there and hurt people especially Nene and Teru knew that- it broke him to do it but it was what was best for Kou...and he has and ALWAYS will put Kou first...
This isn't to say Teru still wouldn't feel guilty ofc- ofc he would- he had to exorcize his damn brother- he wasn't there to protect him when he needed it, he's alive and he isn't...it will haunt him...always....but feeling like a murderer and BEING one are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS.
I hate that people are so intent on the fact Teru's an "animal" to the point there accusing him of "murderer" and saying he's an "exorcist first" when that has literally NEVER BEEN TRUE.
Sighhh sorry about how aggressive this sounds it just makes me mad bc this literally isn't and never has been true and it breaks my heart seeing people still even now view Teru as a monster...even if you don't realize it you all do...you view him as a monster even if you don't realize it and it's sad how dehumanized Teru is not just in the mange but in the fan base too....
Also just saying....with the fact Teru knew Kou was dead with all of that IF Kou could have been saved...Teru would have also known...
You know the most fucked up thing about ch. 120 is that it reinforces Teruโs character. It reinforces the fact that he is an exorcist first, brother second. He struck with precision, even though he called his brotherโs name he still struck. I wonder if he knew what he was doing or if it was all muscle memory at that point. If all he saw at first was a supernatural attacking a person and not his brother. Did he know in his heart that his brother was gone or did he hold out hope that he could break the possession. Do you think heโll lay awake at night think more about what lies at the bottom of the well, or that he didnโt hesitate to strike his brother the one he gave up so much for.
#im so tired#justice for Teru plz...๐#seeing this stuff about Teru literally breaks my heart...can yall give him a damn break even ONCE?!#no i won't be replying to reblogs trying to fight with me- not bc im a coward but bc yall would never listen.#also side note this will NOT result in Teru changing his mind about supernaturals at ALL. it will only enforce what he already knows.

So genuinely tired or all the Teru hate following this chp....
Yes I'm making another post about it bc I can ^^
Teru exorcizeing Kou is in NO WAY LIKE Hanako murdering Tsukasa....literally the farthest thing from it- you can't kill someone that's already dead and Kou was dead before Teru even got to The Red House....HE IS NOT A MURDERER- STOP USING THE WORD "KILLED".
And genuinely what did you want him to do? Let Nene get killed and leave Kou's spirit there to lore and kill people forever? something HE WOULD NEVER WANT?
Kou didn't look like he was in pain- he wasn't scared....he didn't feel betrayed....he was glad and even comforted by his brother's lighting...
This is in no way murder....this is in no way "killing"....Kou was set free....and that was the best thing for him even if it was the worst for Teru....
It makes me so mad bc I know for a fact that if Kou was in Teru's position (Teru being dead and possessed by The Red House) and he had to exorcize Teru the word "murderer" WOULD HAVE NEVER LEFT YOUR DAMN MOUTH.
I beg just GIVE HIM A DAMN BRAEK-
HE JUST LOST HIS DAMN LITTLE BROTHER- THE LITTLE BROTHER THAT HAS KEPT HIM GOING THIS WHOLE TIME- THE LITTLE BROTHER THAT MEANS THE LITERAL WORLD TO HIM-
I've seen yall accuse Teru of a LOT of things but MURDERING HIS LITERAL WORLD?
To far man.....WAY to far....even for you guys.....
#yall just hate him for no reason at this point....#yall don't deserve to be upset about Kou.#justice for Teru plz....๐#tbhk#jshk#toilet bound hanako kun#hanako kun#tbhk chp120#tbhk manga#tbhk spoilers#teru minamoto#teru#kou minamoto#kou#tbhk teru minamoto#tbhk teru#tbhk kou#tbhk kou minamoto
