I just happened to stumble on to The 1975 in the summer of 2013. I was listening to a lot of mixes on the 8 tracks app and one song always stuck out for me. It was this song called "Sex" by a band I had never heard of. Fast forward three years later to my seventh time seeing them live. This experience was a little different in that instead of being in the front in all the glorious energy, sweat, tears, and fight for oxygen, we opted for a VIP table in the back. I have read articles and seen interviews describing the artistic aesthetic of the stage design, which when your are being pushed and pulled from every direction and arms and heads are in your line of sight it is kind of hard to appreciate what the band has created for their fans visually. I mean The 1975 could perform in a dark room and the music speaks for itself. Being able to sit back and enjoy the music along with the visually stimulating stage design, made for the best The 1975 concert to date!
