Insanity

Originally this was going to be a regular drawing of Max just being angry but it turned into a whole cinematic drawing. I’ve never put this much effort into shading before and frankly I didn’t even know I could pull off this kind of stuff, so I’m definitely proud of this piece.

This took me 7 hours and 50 minutes to finish.

Barbie and Ken meme

NOTE: THIS IS MY AU WHICH HAS 99.99% CHANGED LORE, SO DON’T COME ATTACKING ME BECAUSE OF IT BEING “INACCURATE”

I know I’m VERY late to this meme but I really wanted to recreate it myself, so I did!

*Explanation for the guy at the right*

In my AU, there’s this demon species called “Dothelian”. This species and humans are basically connected. Every time a human is born, so is a Dothelian counterpart. Every human has a Dothelian counterpart basically. So of course does Max also have one :))) His name is Dark Max! (I just cringed hard saying that)

He had a very tough childhood. His parents got assassinated and he got dragged into a cult in order to survive. He was forced to commit crimes such as stealing. He met Max on a random day when they were both 15 years old and Max wanted to immediately help him, and so he did!

Now in their early 20s, Daki (Dark Max) is very attached to him and they’re basically best friends now.

Okay bye bye time to disappear again!

Burn scar

Got curious how Max would look like with a burn scar, so here you go! I struggled trying to make sense of the hair 💀

AU Max facial expressions

I’m back! It’s been a while. This is probably gonna be my last drawing of Max in 2023.

I’ve been trying to shape my art style and that’s why it looks a little different, I personally really like it! Night continue to draw this way.

Made a skelly version cause you know why.. :)

‘Twas pretty hard deciding whether I should post this but here I go.

This is basically an AU where Max is a greedy snake or Naga/serpent. Here he’s stealing Emily’s amulet.

ALSO YES I AM AWARE PEOPLE DON’T LIKE THIS SHIP BUT IN MY HEAD CANON(S)/AU(S) IT’S NOT AS AWKWARD. First book I read was book 4 and as a 9 year old I thought they were cute together and later on it felt wrong changing it when I realised they were enemies in canon.

Updated Max Silhouette

Decided to remake my Max silhouette, since the old one became outdated AND I started hating the art style in it. With a completely new outfit, updated lore and art style, I decided to remake it. For those who have no idea what I’m talking about, go here.

Final Battle (?)

Wanted to step out of my comfort zone and try to draw some action or whatever. Can’t decide if I like it or not. Decided to also try and draw Ikol.

Here they (Max and Ikol) are having a brutal battle as you can see.

OUTFITS. I. LOVE. OUTFITS!

If you can’t tell by the title, I LOVE designing outfits for my sweet boy and my oc’s. This is like the third time I go on an outfit designing streak. I guess you could call me an outfit maniac, lol. I haven’t posted the other outfits because frankly I just forgot and then later it felt awkward to post it after a week, so I decided not to post. Let me know if you want me to post them!

The first image is a third recreation of the main outfit he wears. Yeah, you heard me right, THIRD. The outfit he wore before didn’t really match with the image I had in my head, so I decided to redesign it, again. And to be fair, I really like it! I’ve also got versions where his curse isn’t extended all the way to his face.

sigh And again you realise there’s a shift in the art style. I’m STILL trying to figure out my art style. Every drawing of mine is an experiment at this point lmao. Get used to seeing random art style shifts, as I’m still exploring!
